Are Your Borders Secure ? by Beth Auman

fp041307-02

Each of us has been given a delegated rule of authority by God to secure the borders of territories and borders for ourselves as well as individuals that we are to secure and then to keep secure. These assignments are our portion and we are to keep our eyes on Jesus, our Salvation, to rule and reign on earth through Him. We are to take our place, seated with Him in Heavenly places to stand our watch over our assigned territories to see what He will say. He gives us guidance and direction daily. He will light our path.

The Lord assigns us each a border; a boundary in which to rule and reign with Him for His Kingdom purposes, to intercede over, to keep free of anything that would try to come into and take our land. To intercede for someone is to secure the border as the LORD brings wholeness to their fragmentation. In order to watch over and intercede over another’s life, our own borders must be secure. We must allow the LORD to bring wholeness to the wounds of our fragmentation and to secure our own borders first before we ask Him to increase our territory or there will be the fragmented praying for the fragmented and praying amiss!

We are to be well formed arrows created by the LORD that hit the target every single time. This can be accomplished, it is surely possible, but we must each yield to the LORD’s process first for personal VICTORY.

Oh, LORD in Heaven, Creator of the universe, please look upon each of us and allow us to see our fragmentation for what it is; to know we can only see clearly through the Blood of Jesus Christ shed for us. LORD, may we each find healing and freedom through the Blood of Jesus Christ from the broken, fragmented places within ourselves first and then be empowered to intercession for the fragmentation within our assignments secondly. LORD, we yield to and apply Your Blood upon every area of fragmentation within us. We ask that you open the eyes of our understanding so that we may see from Your perspective our fragmentation and yield to Your plan for wholeness through Your strategy for wholeness in our lives. LORD, we are willing to see the Truth that sets us free John 8:31-32 and yield the broken places within our being to You. We receive Your wholeness, for Your healing in us today. As we are healed from our fragmentations we will step by step secure our borders and we will see the fiery path in front of us that we are to walk. We realize LORD, that Your assigned  paths are narrow and we draw Your blood line around us. Keep us LORD, on Your well lit fiery path and keep us secure in You so that we may ask for the wholeness of others; to see their fragmentation yielded unto You for the strategy for their VICTORY. In Jesus name, Amen.

The LORD only calls us into a battle to be VICTORIOUS! As Pastor Robert Heidler says,“When we were born again we were born on a battlefield. We must understand Spiritual Warfare.”We must know this and see this in order to step into any battle, to move with His strategy for Victory. We must see and hear what He is saying because ultimately the battle is not ours, it is God’s 2 Chronicles 20:15. Jesus Christ said on the cross that “It is Finished.John 19:30 (The Voice) When Jesus drank, He spoke: Jesus: It is finished! In that moment, His head fell; and He gave up the spirit.

Then three days later Jesus arose from the dead. He WON! He is VICTORIOUS!! And through His shed Blood we have the key to our victory. But, we must allow Him to heal our fragmented selves to be whole through Him.

We are to take our seat in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6 Ask Him for His strategy and only speak what He says to speak and do what He says to do; nothing more, nothing less. Speaking only what we see Him saying and doing only doing what we see Him doing. John 5:19 (NASB) Therefore, Jesus answered and was saying to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner.

With Jesus as our example, we are to do the same. Seek to hear what the LORD says and do what He shows us He is doing. We are to take our seat in Christ Jesus in Heavenly Places allowing Him to make us whole and then do whatever He says to do and say whatever He says to say to secure the borders of our assigned territories.

When the Lord give us assignments to watch over and pray, He is actually giving each of us a new opportunity to win the victory by His grace and the power of His might to increase the borders of our assigned territories. When we win that victory we are to maintain that boarder or territory through prayer and intercession as He leads. I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what He (The Lord) will say unto me… Habakkuk 2:1 (KJV)

Watchman what do you see? If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it. He is giving you an opportunity to increase your territory. As the Lord’s watchmen, we are to watch over our borders, not those of our neighbors. We are to keep our eyes on Him. As long as we operate from within Him, led by the Holy Spirit, seated in heavenly places with Jesus, we can expect to be victorious. If we veer from our place within Him, adding any of ourselves, we will miss the mark every time. Don’t operate outside the authority that is yours in the Blood of Jesus Christ. By the healing power of His blood allow Him to heal all the wounds of fragmentation in your life and to make you whole. As declared in Isaiah 53:5, He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities and by His stripes we are healed. Hear His word of instruction to you, receive the healing that is yours, then operate from His place of VICTORY! BE VICTORIOUS! Thank God, then, for our Lord Jesus, the Anointed, the Liberating King, who brought us victory over the grave. 1 Corinthians 15:57 (VOICE)

When we take our place, seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus and ask for our territory to be enlarged, our borders to be increased, doing what He does and saying what He says, He assigns us opportunities to assist others who are fragmented and not yet seated in Him.  He will direct us in our prayers and gives us the power to secure their boarders. Thus, He grants our request enlarging our delegated rule of authority and His Kingdom is extended on earth.

1 Chronicles 4:10 (NASB) Now Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that You would bless me indeed and enlarge my border, and that Your hand might be with me, and that You would keep me from harm that it may not pain me!And God granted him what he requested.

Matthew 7:7 (NASB) Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Matthew 6:10.

We can see clearly, seated in heavenly places through the Blood of Jesus. Remember the LORD see’s everything, He alone knows all things and He alone answers prayers. There is always a strategy. The cross was the strategy that God used for our salvation and victory over sin and death. Many don’t understand this, but they need too. If we take our place in Christ Jesus and do our part in obedience to Him, territories for His Kingdom will be taken and we will be named among those who are the called, chosen and faithful.

Victory for the Lamb 14 These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful. Revelation 17:14 (NASB)

And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. Revelation 12:11 (NASB)

Psalm 18 (VOICE)

For the worship leader. A song of David, the Eternal One’s servant, who addressed these words to the Eternal after He had rescued him from Saul and his other enemies.

This Davidic psalm is also found in 2 Samuel 22. It expresses gratitude to God for saving him.

I love You, Eternal One, source of my power. The Eternal is my rock, my fortress, and my salvation;     He is my True God, the stronghold in which I hide,     my strong shield, the horn that calls forth help, and my tall-walled tower. I call out to the Eternal, who is worthy to be praised—     that’s how I will be rescued from my enemies.

The bonds of death encircled me;     the currents of destruction tugged at me; The sorrows of the grave wrap around me;     the traps of death lay in wait for me.

In my time of need, I called to the Eternal;     I begged my True God for help. He heard my voice echo up to His temple,     and my cry came to His ears.

Because of His great anger, the earth shook and staggered;     the roots of the mountains shifted. Smoke poured out from His nose,     and devouring fire burst from His mouth.     Coals glowed from Him. He bent the heavens and descended;     inky darkness was beneath His feet. 10 He rode upon a heavenly creature,[a] flying;     He was carried quickly on the wings of the wind. 11 He took darkness as His hiding place—     both the dark waters of the seas and the dark clouds of the sky. 12 Out from His brilliance     hailstones and burning coals     broke through the clouds. 13 The Eternal thundered in the heavens;     the Highest spoke; His voice rumbled [in the midst of hail and lightning].[b] 14 He shot forth His arrows and scattered the wicked;     He flung forth His lightning and struck them. 15 Then the deepest channels of the seas were visible,     and the very foundations of the world were uncovered At Your rebuke, O Eternal One,     at the blast of wind from Your nostrils.

16 He reached down His hand from above me; He held me.     He lifted me from the raging waters. 17 He rescued me from my strongest enemy,     from all those who sought my death,     for they were too strong. 18 They came for me in the day of my destruction,     but the Eternal was the support of my life. 19 He set me down in a safe place;     He saved me to His delight; He took joy in me.

20 The Eternal One responded to me according to my goodness;     I kept my hands clean, and He blessed me. 21 I kept the ways of the Eternal     and have not walked away from my True God in wickedness. 22 All His laws were there before me,     and I did not push His statutes away. 23 I was blameless before Him;     I kept myself from guilt and shame. 24 That’s why the Eternal has rewarded me for my right living;     He’s rewarded me because He saw my hands were clean.

25 You are loyal to those who are loyal;     with the innocent, You prove to be innocent; 26 With the clean, You prove to be clean;     and with the twisted, You make Yourself contrary. 27 For You rescue humble people,     but You bring the proud back in line. 28 You are the lamp who lights my way;     the Eternal, my God, lights up my darkness. 29 With Your help, I can conquer an army;     I can leap over walls with a helping hand from You. 30 Everything God does is perfect;     the promise of the Eternal rings true;     He stands as a shield for all who hide in Him.

31 Who is the True God except the Eternal?     Who stands like a rock except our God? 32 The True God who encircled me with strength     and made my pathway straight. 33 He made me sure-footed as a deer     and placed me high up where I am safe. 34 He teaches me to fight     so that my arms can bend a bronze bow. 35 You have shielded me with Your salvation,     supporting me with Your strong right hand,     and it makes me strong. 36 You taught me how to walk with care     so my feet will not slip. 37 I chased my enemies and caught them     and did not stop until they were destroyed. 38 I broke them and threw them down beneath my feet,     and they could not rise up again. 39 For You equipped me for battle,     and You made my enemies fall beneath me. 40 You made my enemies turn tail and run,     and all who wanted my destruction, I destroyed. 41 They looked everywhere, but no one came to rescue them;     they asked the Eternal, but He did not answer them. 42 I beat them to sand, to dust that blows in the wind;     I flung them away like trash in the gutters.

43 You rescued me from conflict with the peoples;     You raised me up to rule over nations.     People who did not know me have come to serve me. 44 Strangers come to me, afraid.     As soon as they hear about me, they serve me; 45 Strangers who have lost heart     come fearfully to me from behind their high walls.

46 The Eternal is alive! My Rock is blessed,     and exalted is the True God of my deliverance— 47 The God who avenged me     and placed the peoples under me, 48 Who rescued me from all my foes.     Truly, You raised me up above my enemies     and saved me from the violent ones.

49 For this I will praise You among the nations, O Eternal,     and sing praises to Your name. 50 He is a tower of salvation for His king     and shows His enduring love to His anointed,     to David and his descendants forever.
