Cold or Hot by Beth Auman

Hot or ColdThe LORD see’s everything – He knows each of us inside and out. He would prefer that we are cold or hot but never lukewarm. Those who are Lukewarm will be vomited out of His mouth.. Yuck!

Have you ever been hurt by the words of another? Perhaps sometimes we really should never know what someone really feels about us.

Recently I was called an extremist and the comment  pierced my heart at first.

I have learned on my journey with the LORD to run to HIM immediately when I am wounded. As I brought this wound before the Lord – He  illuminated this scripture to me. Revelation 3:15-16  He ministered to me I am (Hot and Passionate) and that He made me that way.  My passion (zeal) for Jesus, all people, places and things that He has so graciously placed within my delegated rule of authority are my heart and my treasures.  I am passionately and fervently Hot and passionate about all that He has given to me to love. Yes, I am an extremely hot and passionate person, I steward all that He has given me with great care and responsibility. Through this part of my journey I have learned that Jesus is pleased with me, He Loves me, just the way that I am.

I have submitted this unto the Lord, as He instructs us to in (James 4:7 The Voice (VOICE)So submit yourselves to the one true God and fight against the devil and his schemes. If you do, he will run away in failure.)  As  I have submitted myself unto the Lord on this matter – I felt compelled to share this with each of you.  Many times those fiery darts shot at you by the devil come from those who you love. When this happens we have a choice to submit it to the Lord or carry it around as a bitter wound. Bitter wounds that are not carried to the LORD will eventually block your relationship with Him – You won’t be able to hear Him clearly because the wounds get in the way.

If someone has allowed the devil to use their mouth against you and wounded you – run to the throne room and submit yourself unto the Lord – tell Him – the Lover of your soul, your Salvation and Redeemer about it and ask Him to reveal the truth to you according to John 8:31-32 and make you free.  He will lovingly tell you the truth and His freedom will wash over you.

Don’t miss your opportunity to forgive the one by whom the offence occurred and submit yourself unto the Lord, fight against the devil and his schemes.  The devil will truly run away in failure every time. Learn how to do this well and remember that Jesus knows your works – He knows you inside and out and He wants you to be hot and passionate about all of the people, places and things that He has placed within your delegated rule of authority. Steward all that He has given you with hot passion and remember that a good steward’s number one responsibility is to protect that which has been given to them.  Protect each and everyone, and everything to the best of your ability with all of the hot passion that you have to offer.

Blessings and Shalom and Love beyond measure.

Thank you for reading.

From my heart to yours.
