Scripture for the week of November 1, 2015
Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of His understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Isaiah 40:28 (NLT)Are you feeling battle weary and nearing the end of your strength in situations beyond your control? And is your trust in God shaking because of fear and you don’t understand? No matter how talented, strong or self sufficient we may be, there are times in each of our lives when we have to face our frailty, limitations, doubt and fears. Simply stated these scriptures are declaring to each of us, “Hey, don’t you know; haven’t you figured it out that God is never inadequate, insufficient, or lacking in anything! And guess what? He is able to create endless alternatives or options and we don’t have to understand it all or figure everything out.” We truly can find all the strength and support we will ever need Him! May you know God’s presence, strength, power and provision for you that goes beyond your inadequacies and understanding today and everyday.
