Scripture for the week of November 8, 2015
But Moses said to the people, “Fear not! Stand firm! And see the salvation of the Lord, which He will show you today. For the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall never see again. The Lord shall fight for you, while you hold your peace.” Exodus 14:13-14 (MEV)Have you ever felt trapped between the battles behind you and impossibilities before you; at the end of your strength? In the words of Moses in these scriptures we are reminded that our loving all powerful God is with us. We are commanded to relinquish our fears, to stand strong and cling to Him in peace for He is fighting to save us. Casting all our fears on the Lord, He stills our hearts and restores our peace to trust that He is more than able to move mountains, part the seas and destroy all things against us never to be seen again! Lift your eyes to see the salvation of God in your life today, dwell in His freedom from all fear and to know the peace of God that passes understanding for He fights for you. Selah, ponder and rest in this truth. Amen.
