Psalm 119:18 – by Beth Auman

Psalm119.18Oh LORD, may we see so clearly that we may take in (receive with all of our senses and see from Your perspective) the Amazing things coming from Your Law.

In our society today God’s Law is forsaken, blasphemed, over looked, disrespected and trodden.  He is left out when our hearts should be crying to see from His perspective with His perception and acuity (sharpness or keenness of thought, vision, or hearing).

Keenness of thought – Receiving His thoughts, allowing Him to renew our minds according to His Word  in Romans 12:2 (VOICE) Do not allow this world to mold you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the inside out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God wills and whatever God finds good, pleasing, and complete.

Vision – Allowing Him to open the eyes of our understanding according to His Word in Ephesians 1:17-19 (VOICE) 17 God of our Lord Jesus the Anointed, Father of Glory: I call out to You on behalf of Your people. Give them minds ready to receive wisdom and revelation so they will truly know You. 18 Open the eyes of their hearts, and let the light of Your truth flood in. Shine Your light on the hope You are calling them to embrace. Reveal to them the glorious riches You are preparing as their inheritance. 19 Let them see the full extent of Your power that is at work in those of us who believe, and may it be done according to Your might and power.

Hearing – May we hear His voice with the fullness of clarity so that we hear and see using all of our senses what He shows us as written in His Word in Revelation 21:5 (VOICE) 5 And the One who sat on the throne announced to His creation, The One: See, I am making all things new. (turning to me) Write what you hear and see, for these words are faithful and true.

Abba The Eternal is calling out to each of us today – Can you perceive Him in fullness with all of your senses and interpret what He is showing you?

Lord, we anticipate new level of hearing Your voice, seeing what You show us from Your perspective and interpreting clearly the Revelation that You are sending with all of our senses. Open to us all that is necessary to fulfill our destinies for Your Glory.

Psalm 17:15 (VOICE) 15 But as for me, my hope is to see Your face.  When I am vindicated, I will look upon the holy face of God, and when I awake, the longing of my soul will be satisfied in the glow of Your presence.

In Jesus Name Amen
