Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of November 27, 2016

jobeth124I will lift up my eyes to the mountains; From where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber. Psalm 121:2-3 (NASB)

Have you ever suddenly slipped and taken a fall because there was nothing to grab on to or no one there to catch you? Sometimes the difficulties and uncertainties of life can cause us to be so fearful of failure or falling that we can hardly see the way ahead. This verse encourages us to lift our eyes to the majestic beauty of the mountains and to remember that the awesome Creator of heaven and the earth, the God Who never sleeps is our helper and protector. Our Father God is diligently watching over us. He will be there to hear our cry for help, to hold our hand and to direct our steps. Regardless of disappointments and discouragements on your right or left, look up and hold out your hand to The Lord God Almighty Who is already reaching out to you and will not let you stumble. Thank you, Lord.

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of November 20, 2016

jobeth123

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever. To him who alone does great wonders, His love endures forever. Psalm 136:1-4 (NIV)

What would you answer if you were asked what is your greatest desire? If we are honest and willing to be completely transparent most of us would acknowledge the deepest longing of our hearts is to be loved. We all long for and cherish the loving relationships of family and friends. We are encouraged in these scriptures to give thanks to The Lord, God of gods, and Lord of lords because His love endures forever. In this Psalm, there are twenty-six declarations that His love endures forever following verses extolling the majesty of God’s creation, His awesome wonders, His mighty power and extravagant mercy. During this season of Thanksgiving we often remember and share the many things we are thankful for. It is also good to remember how blessed we are and to give thanks that The Lord God Almighty is good, He does great wonders and His steadfast love for us endures forever!

My Thankful Song by Beth Auman

a-thankful-heart-01

Truly, we should all be Thankful every single day. We should begin and end our day with a song of Thankfulness and Gratitude to The Eternal. He gave His best so that we could live in Eternity with Him – Jesus – His only begotten Son.

John 3:16 (VOICE)16 For God expressed His love for the world in this way: He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not face everlasting destruction, but will have everlasting life.

Our Thankfulness begins and ends with Jesus because only through His sacrifice can we have Eternal life. This is one thing that no matter what is going on in our lives – we can all be Thankful to Him for Jesus our Savior and Eternal Life.

Today is a day of self evaluation:

Is the Eternal the source of your strength and the shield that guards you?

Have you truly learned to rest and trust in Him?

Do you trust that He is sending help?

Is this why your heart is singing? Are you opening your mouth to praise Him and allowing your Thankful song to rise?

See, we were made to Praise the Lord to be Thankful to Him. Thankfulness begins and ends with Him. He is the place where Thanksgiving comes from. We would not have such an emotion at our disposal had He not given it to us. We were all made to give Him Praise, Honor and Glory. He gave Jesus – His only begotten Son so that we would have a choice to give Him all Praise.

Psalm 150:6 (VOICE)No one should be left out; Let every man and every beast— every creature that has the breath of the Lord—praise the Eternal!   Praise the Eternal!

My prayer for each of you during this beautiful Season of Thanksgiving is that you will begin to allow your Song of Praise rise within you. May it bubble out of your mouth and rise to His ears. May you release your sound of Thanksgiving to the Eternal because you have a unique sound that He is waiting to hear. May you become more aware that He is the source of your strength and the shield that guards you. May you learn to rest in Him and trust in Him as your song of Thanksgiving and Praise rise within you as you open your mouth to Praise Him in Jesus name Amen and Amen

Love each and everyone of you Beyond Measure.

I Bless each of you and speak His Shalom over each of you.

Jesus is LORD.

Beth R Auman.

Unity by Bonnie S. Vaughan

roses-lrUnity will tear down every stronghold that tries to divide us, and will lead us along the path of righteousness. Pulling together is the factor that will bind three cords that no one can pull apart.

It’s not a time of divisive words spoken to destroy one another, but prayer that reaches the heart of God, giving room for His will to be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

No more crying tears of things not done our way, but totally surrendering, so the Father’s plan can be fulfilled here and now.

Let us embrace His heart, His desires, and His purposes for a nation that needs His love, His grace, and His salvation.

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of November 13, 2016

jobeth122He (Moses) said, “Please show me your glory.” Yahweh passed by before him, and proclaimed, “Yahweh! Yahweh, a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth, keeping loving kindness for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin…” Exodus 33:18, 34:6-7a (WEB)

Have you ever wondered what the glory of God is? Many might think it is the display of supernatural signs, wonders and miracles. God’s response to Moses’ request to see His glory is the revelation of His compassion, kindness, love and forgiveness. In this scripture we learn that our disobedience and anything that separates us from God’s presence, peace and love is sin. The Hebrew meaning of His name Yahweh is “I Am that I Am”. So, God is declaring in these verses, “I Am, I really, really Am a merciful and gracious God; very slow to anger, abundant in truth, extending loving kindness and forgiveness to thousands who are separated from me in their rebellious ways. May you know the gift of God’s abundant grace and merciful loving kindness in your life today and always. Selah, ponder and think on these things.

Scripture for the week of November 6, 2016

jobeth121Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, 2 Peter 1:2 (NKJV)

Are you in need of abundant grace and peace? Grace is undeserved favor and divine assistance. Peace is tranquility, harmony and freedom from disturbance or affliction. The Biblical definition of knowledge is based on understanding from experience. This verse exhorts that the more we increase in knowing our Father God and Jesus the more His grace and peace will increase in us. Like the Hebrews in the wilderness that had to gather fresh manna each day, Jesus is the Bread of Life that God has provided for us to seek each day. Whatever we may have experienced of God’s love, mercy, forgiveness and provision in the past, be encouraged to KNOW that we can seek Him each new day to supply His sufficient favor, steadfast love, amazing grace and peace that passes understanding. May His grace and peace be multiplied to you today.

The Word of The LORD for Today – Be Encouraged

john8-31-32Can You Hear His VOICE Today?

Are you His Disciple? Do you Hear The Truth?

When I awoke this morning He led me to read Psalm 85 aloud to Him and I receive His Holy Word with gladness in my heart.  This is His plan.

Can you hear His voice? Are you listening? Will you receive His Truth and Word with gladness and joy in your heart?

My prayer for you today in Jesus Name is that you will read this Psalm aloud to Him and allow His Voice to speak to your heart.

Psalm 85 – The Voice

O Eternal One, there was a time when You were gracious to Your land;
You returned Jacob’s descendants from their captivity.
You forgave the iniquity of Your people,
    covered all of their sins.

[pause][a]

There was a time when You restrained all of Your fierce wrath,
when You cooled Your hot anger.

O God of our salvation, bring us back again—as You did before—
and put away Your anger toward us.
Will You be mad at us forever?
Will You continue to be angry with our children and theirs?
Will You not bring us back to life once more
so that we, Your people, will find joy and pleasure in You?
O Eternal One, show us Your unfailing love;
give us what we truly need: Your salvation.

I will hear what the True God—the Eternal—will say,
for He will speak peace over His people,
peace over those who faithfully follow Him, [but do not let them abuse His gift and return to foolish ways].[b]
Without a doubt, His salvation is near for those who revere Him
so that He will be with us again and all His glory will fill this land.

10 Unfailing love and truth have met on their way;
righteousness and peace have kissed one another.
11 Truth will spring from the earth like a plant,
and justice will look down from the sky.
12 Yes, the Eternal will plant goodness in the earth,
and our land will yield great abundance.
13 Justice will come before Him,
marking out a path, setting a way for His feet.

This is our Declaration today Lord – we receive Your Word – Your Salvation is near for those who revere You and You will be with us again and Your glory will fill this land.

J   E   R    USA  L   A  M      (We are in The Word – we are a part of His Plan and His glory will fill our LAND). Amen

We receive Your unfailing love and truth – Your righteousness and peace and Your justice looking down from the sky.

Yes, We receive your planting goodness in the earth and our land will yield great abundance.

Justice will come before You, marking out a path, setting a way for Your feet. In The mighty and matchless name of Jesus Our LORD Amen and Amen
