Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of February 26, 2917

But this I call to mind, and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.” Lamentations 3:20-24 (ESV)

Do you ever struggle to find your faith to trust God in the midst of overwhelming situations? It can be especially hard when it seems like the cries of your prayers bounce off the ceiling and All you hear is silence. In the verses before these scriptures, the Prophet Jeremiah describes in great detail his sufferings and that he feels like God caused it all. He was not afraid to talk to God about his disillusionment, frustrations and anguish. But, he then reminds himself of God’s love, mercies and faithfulness in the past. How amazing that even though the circumstances have not changed, Jeremiah is able to declare with renewed hope that the Lord is all he needs! Take your list of problems to God today and pour out your doubts, fears and pain. Then be encouraged with new hope recalling all of the Lord’s unshakeable love, unending mercies and great faithfulness to you always. Selah (ponder and think on these things).

Father Teach Us How To Pray by Beth Auman

Our Hearts cry out to the Living God today for His Wisdom, Revelation, Counsel, Might, Knowledge and the Fear of the Lord (Isaiah 11:2) Oh Holy Spirit Come in Jesus name.

Many times when someone asks me to speak into their lives, this Scripture is the first to bubble up out of me.

I will cry out on their behalf – Oh God of our Lord Jesus the Anointed, Father of Glory: I call out to You on behalf of this person.

The person that you are praying for are His you know. When someone asks Him for His Word on the situation – that person belongs to Him and we are simply agreeing with the Word of the Lord over their life.

We cry out to  Abba on their behalf, give them minds ready to receive Your wisdom and revelation so that they will truly know You.

This is one of the most important things because when you are called by God to speak into the life of His precious people, you are speaking His Word into the life of someone who belongs to Him. It is a wonderful calling that must be very clear and kept in perspective.

Then we cry out Abba, open their hearts, and let the light of Your truth flood in.  Shine Your light on the hope You are calling them to embrace.

This is so very important because we all walk in the revelation that we have now as individuals before the Lord. We cannot walk in the revelation that another has. We must cry out for this one that we are praying for to see what Abba is showing them from His perspective. Not from our own. You cannot judge what Abba is revealing to another person’s heart, nor have the entire revelation that He is giving to them.

Then we ask Abba to reveal to them the glorious riches that He has prepared for their inheritance. Let them see the full extent of Your power that is at work in those of us who believe, and may it be done according to Your might and power.

A Prophet is a Standard Bearer. They are called by God to speak and open up the pathway of the light of God’s truth in another human beings life. Thus, speaking forth a New Standard for that beloved person to walk in. Thus drawing a blood line at this particular point in time and declaring over them Light Be. See the Truth and Be free. The person receiving His Word can then see and walk in the New Standard (the new boundary) that the Lord has set around them.

This Scripture in Ephesians 1: 17-23 is so very important because it is the same might and resurrection power that He used in the Anointed One Jesus Christ to raise Him from the dead and to position Him at His right hand in heaven. Another way to say this is that the same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead dwells in them and it is He (The Holy Spirit that quickens their mortal flesh). Life and Light Be in Jesus name.

When a person is wandering around in a dry and weary place, it is a place of death and confusion. The attacks of the enemy are harsh and Abba calls those of us who know the truth to stand up and speak to the storms of life raging against our brothers and sisters. Those who are fellow believers in Jesus Christ as well as those who are given the opportunity to receive Him as Lord and Savior. This is why we speak Life and Light Be in Jesus name. The Resurrection Power of Jesus Christ literally brings the dead things back to life.

Please know this: When The Lord calls you to pray this over someones life, His Power is released. There is nothing over Him. He is above all rule, authority, power and dominion; over every name invoked, over every title bestowed in this age and the next. (Period).

Which means that when the Lord Himself opens the eyes of that person that He has called you to speak this Scripture over, they are being dealt with on such a level that their lives will Never be the same again. It is between The Lord and the person being prophetically spoken into.  You will know in part – but they will walk in the fullness. You are to speak only what the Spirit leads you to speak and leave the rest to God.

Remember in Verse 22 God has placed all things beneath His feet and anointed Him as the head over all things for His church.

Jesus our Lord has already done all that He is going to do. He gave His all and is now seated a the right hand of Abba in Heavenly places. He has won the final Victory and He will lead us and guide us as to how to pray, declare, decree and intercede over another persons life.

We must listen and obey. Yield our hearts, our minds, our eyes and ears unto Him knowing that The church is His body, the fullness of the One who fills all in all. We are His and we must treat all who He calls us to pray for and intercede for, prophecy over, declare and decree as we would our own body. Because we are all One Body in Christ Jesus. Allow Him to fill you to over flowing today – Read Ephesians 1:17-23 aloud to Him and allow Him to release His Light, His Truth into your situation and speak it aloud over all of those whom He calls you too.

Remember – We have the Victory in every situation because He gives us the Strategy in every situation. Jesus is LORD and He Loves you.

I Bless each and everyone of you today in Jesus name.

Love Beyond Measure,

Beth

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of February 19, 2017

I pray … that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe… Ephesians 1:17-19 (NASB)

Are you in need of wisdom to solve a baffling situation or revelation to grasp something beyond your understanding? Do you need renewed hope to see beyond impossible mountains too difficult to overcome? Wisdom requires discernment sometimes beyond our awareness, revelation can breakthrough as a dawning truth and hope is the anticipation of a fulfilled need or desire. We are reminded in this scripture that in knowing Him, our Lord Jesus Christ, gives to us the gift of His spirit of wisdom and revelation. We can also expect to “see” a lightening in our hearts to KNOW the hope of His calling. As His chosen ones, there is an awesome greatness of His power toward us who believe in the Lord. And, there is a wealth of glory that is His inheritance in us! May you know the greatness of His wisdom, power, and love for you! Amen!

Happy Love Day by Beth Auman

Happy Love Day to everyone  – Love with the Love of God everyday – the Never Ending, Everlasting, Agape Love of Abba Father. God’s Love Never Fails. He IS LOVE and His definition of Agape Love is found in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NASB) Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; [a]bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love with His Love not the eros kind of love of this world – that eros love will  always fail and is the opposite of the Agape Love of God.

God gave His best to us to show us how much He Loves us – the Gift of Jesus, His Son. Love with His Love. Live by His definition of Love and His example of Love.

Love God First and yield to His Love. Then allow His Love to flow out of you to others. May the joy of the Lord truly be your strength today and everyday of your life.

I Bless each of you today and Love you Beyond Measure with God’s Agape Love in Jesus name.

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of February 12, 2017

“So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Luke 11:9-10 (NIV)

If God supposedly knows everything and has a plan, why should we bother with prayer and asking for His help? Do you have childhood memories of playing hide-and-seek and how much fun it is to surprise someone in their hiding place? And how special it is to see the joyous expression on a loved one’s face when they walk into a surprise party in their honor? These verses reveal God’s heart in that He longs for us to seek Him and to find the overwhelming joy of how much He loves us. How awesome that God loves to reveal Himself to us and to surprise us with signs and wonders in answering our prayers. Be encouraged to keep on asking to receive, seeking to find and knocking for the open doors of God’s blessings and abundant provision for you today.

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of February 5, 2017

“I will lead the blind by ways they have not known, along unfamiliar paths I will guide them; I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do; I will not forsake them.” Isaiah 42:16 (NIV)

Have you ever been blinded by the penetrating brightness of the sun or by a winter snow storm where you couldn’t see the road ahead or the next step in front of you? Sometimes we can feel so blinded by sudden unexpected circumstances that we have no idea how to find our way out of the anxiety and fearful darkness. What comfort it is to find God’s promise to us that even when we are lost and can’t see, He is there to help us find our way. The Lord declares that He will turn the oppressive darkness into glorious light and that He will even make the rough places smooth before us. What an uplifting hope to have such assurance that the Lord is always there and will never abandon us in any helpless place! Whatever darkness you may find yourself in, be encouraged to call upon the Lord; reaching out to Him, to guide you into the light of His presence along the path of His peace.
