What Are Your Feet Running To by Beth Auman

Are you aware that there are things that God Hates? Yes, there sure are. When you stop to think about God and how much God Loves each of us. He sent His only begotten Son Jesus from Heaven to live here on earth, die a horrible death and rise again for our Salvation.

God didn’t make Salvation difficult. He made sure that His Word was written down, line by line and precept by precept. He literally told each of us all that we would ever need to know about what He likes and what He hates. What to do and how to do it. He gave us Feasts to Celebrate Him and told us how to Celebrate. How to honor Him.

God didn’t make it difficult.

Why then do so many people’s feet fun to Evil? For candy? For fun? For theater? For their own entertainment? God’s Word clearly says:

1 Thessalonians 5:22  (NASB) 22 abstain from every [a]form of evil.

That would include any form of evil. If it looks evil then it is evil and we as Christians are to stay away. We aren’t supposed to be running toward evil, God actually hates that!

If you do this then what does that say about your relationship with God? What are you teaching your children? God also says:

Isaiah 5:20 (KJV) 20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Ask God today how to shut that door to evil that you have opened and go thorugh Jesus Christ the Salvation Door. He is the Way, the Truth and Life, no man comes to the Father except through Him.

John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 10:9  (KJV) I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

What are your feet running to? If they are running toward evil then make better choices, Repent and enter into the Salvation of the LORD.

Jesus is LORD.

Blessings and Shalom,

Beth Auman

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of October 28, 2018

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Psalm 46:10-11 (NKJV)

Have you ever enjoyed a summer night of frogs croaking, crickets creaking and fireflies flitting? Or have you ever taken the time to look for pictures in the clouds or watched for falling stars in a dark night sky? Isn’t it interesting how much we can see and hear if we will take the time to be still. In stillness we may also have to face our encroaching fears, our emptiness or our feelings of being all alone. But, in this scripture God instructs us that we will find Him in the still and quiet place. Our Heavenly Father desires for us to cease from our struggles and striving to find the comfort, peace and rest we so long for in the stillness of His presence. Whatever we may be facing in the uncertainties and upheavals of this world our God declares in this scripture that He will be exalted above all else in the earth. The Lord of Hosts is with us and is our refuge. Selah means ponder and think of that!

Scripture for the week of October 21, 2018

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)

Have you ever felt like a misfit, too different or unacceptable to others around you; among friends, at work or in your family? Sometimes it can be so hard to handle those inner voices that say, “You don’t fit”, ” Not good enough”, or “Never going to make it”. What an encouragement to find in this scripture what God has to say about you. You are a chosen one! You are a part of the elite inner circle with access to God— a Holy nation! And, you are part of a distinctive people that have accepted God’s invitation to come out of the dark, painful, depressing and hopeless places into the marvelous light of His love! So lift your heart, your hands and your voice to praise the Lord because you are a chosen, special one with the opportunity to display His goodness and glory to all those around you in this world! Thank You, Lord!

I Will Lift Up My Eyes by Beth Auman

Have you ever been in a real jam? A situation that seems impossible?  You have a choice to focus on the problem or set your will to lift your eyes to the LORD and focus on His solution to your problem.

The solution has been provided for you already. You have to focus on the LORD and receive His wisdom.

My help comes from the LORD who made heaven and earth and He will not allow my feet to slip. Psalm 121:2

Praise The LORD Most High Today and focus on Him. Life is Life and it really gets hard sometimes, BUT GOD!! He will make a way – Jesus IS THE WAY, THE TRUTH and LIFE.

John 14:6  (NASB) Jesus *said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.

You can trust in and rely on Him. He will lead you and guide you into all truth for your life. He will seperate you from the false and reveal the truth in every situation. He will restore your joy and He promises that He will be with you in trouble.  John 16:33  These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

So set your will to lift up your eyes to the LORD today, focus on Him. He’s got this because He has overcome the world. There is nothing that we will ever face that He has not already overccome. It really is all in what we choose to focus on.

Blessings and Shalom in Jesus Name

Whispers in the Night by Beth Auman

This verse touched me so deeply. Have you ever cried out to Adonai – What’s next LORD, please show me the way to go.

Adonai knows our hearts. He knows what is coming next and He whispers to us in the night and He gives us wisdom, showing us what to do next.

I praise Him with all that I am today because He is leading and guiding me on His well lit path. I’m listening and so excited to hear Him whisper to me in the night. I’m listening LORD.

Open your heart and your ears to hear Him tonight. Then do whatever He says, go where He leads you to go and Praise Him because He is worthy.

Blessings and Shalom in Jesus Name.

Remember Adonai Loves you with His Everlasting Love and He has a plan for your life. Jesus is LORD and it’s an exciting time to be alive.

Beth Auman

Scripture of The Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of October 14, 2018

And having chosen them, He called them to come to Him. And having called them, He gave them right standing with Himself. And having given them right standing, He gave them His glory. What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Romans 8:30-31 (NLT)

In your childhood memories were you ever the unwanted and last one chosen when teams were picked to play games? Were you not invited and left out of some special event or overlooked for a promotion you worked so hard for? What a comfort to read in these verses that God has chosen us and has called us to come to Him. He can make all things right and He frees us from all wrongs, sorrows and sins. We are invited to stand close to Him in His righteousness! God goes on to declare that He extends to us His glory; as well as the joy of knowing His favor, goodness and presence is with us at all times. Lord, Jesus, touch the wounded places in our hearts and the sorrows in our memories with the power of your unconditional love and to know that we have been called to stand in your righteousness and glorious grace. Our God is for us! Amen!

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of October 7, 2018

Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Have you ever wondered how to find God’s will? What if the three things listed in this verse were the keys to discovering and experiencing God’s will? In the many tests, trials and desperate situations we face each day we all face the opportunities to choose how we respond to life’s difficulties. What if we would choose to rejoice in the Lords’s overcoming power instead of worrying? What if we would choose to pray in faith instead of yielding to fear? And, what if we would choose to give thanks for the opportunity to see God demonstrate His abundant provision for us instead of grumbling and complaining? In Matthew 19:26 Jesus said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” With His sufficient grace for today in everything that comes your way, be encouraged to rejoice, pray and give thanks that will set your feet on the path of God’s will concerning you. Yes, Lord!

I Will Not Restrain My Lips O LORD by Beth Auman

This is our declaration and decree for such a time as this. We will watch and see Abba incline Himself to our cry, bring us out of this pit of destruction and miry clay. He will set our feet upon a rock (Jesus Christ the chief cornerstone) and make our footsetps firm. So that we can continue on His well lit path for His Glory. Our Decleration and Decree today is: I have proclaimed glad tidings of righteousness in the great congregation; Behold, I will not restrain my lips, O Lord, You know. Amen and Amen

Psalm 40:9-10  (NASB)

I have proclaimed glad tidings of righteousness in the great congregation;
Behold, I will not restrain my lips,
O Lord, You know.
10 I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart;
I have spoken of Your faithfulness and Your salvation;
I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great congregation.

Make this your proclimation: Jesus IS LORD and I will not restain my lips, O LORD, You know. I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have spoken of Your faithfulness and Your salvation. I will continue to do so.
