Embracing all that Jesus taught us proves that we are His true followers. When we embrace the truth, He releases more freedom into our lives. There is more freedom to be obtained for each of us.
Each morning when we awake we are to seek Him First. Mark 6:33- But what does that really mean and how do we go about seeking Him first.
Well, you may begin your day by saying out loud,”Good Morning LORD, what are YOU doing and how I can participate.
Life as we know it begins to change when we truly seek Him First. Our focus must be on Him and His work in His earth. When our focus is on Him and His purpose for our lives and not on ourselves, our lives change.
Leading a fasted life is seeking Him first everyday and being obedient to whatever He tells you to do. Laying down your will for His. Following the example of Jesus.
Luke 22:40-42 The Passion Translation (TPT)
40 There he told the apostles, “Keep praying for strength to be spared from the severe test of your faith that is about to come.”
41 Then he withdrew from them a short distance[a] to be alone. Kneeling down, he prayed, 42 “Father, if you are willing, take this cup of agony away from me.[b]But no matter what, your will must be mine.”
This is our pattern. Jesus laid down His own life and said 42 “Father, if you are willing, take this cup of agony away from me.[b]But no matter what, your will must be mine.”
So many times our focus is on ourselves and our problems. Our concept of prayer and fasting is on ourselves, our lives, our problems and ME focused. That is not the pattern that Jesus taught us. Our Praise and Worship song to Him must never be ME ME ME ME ME ME MEEEEE.
We are to enter His gates with praise and His presence with thanksgiving. Psalm 100:4 You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise. Come right into his presence with thanksgiving. Come bring your thank offering to him and affectionately bless his beautiful name!
We should wake up and seek The LORD first, ask Him what He is doing today and how we can participate.
The time has come that we lead a powerful, prayerful and fasted life. We must all follow Jesus’ and do what He did rather than ponder what would Jesus do (WWJD) should be DWJD – Do what Jesus Did . He is our pattern. Our eyes and lives must be locked on Him. We must see, hear, listen and be obedient to act immeiately.
John 8:28 (TPT) 28 “You will know me as ‘I AM’ after you have lifted me up from the earth[a] as the Son of Man. Then you will realize that I do nothing on my own initiative, but I only speak the truth that the Father has revealed to me.
This is our example of being about our Father’s Business, seeking Him First and doing what Jesus did. Taking authroity over the earth, having dominion, being the Overcomers that lead a prayerful and fasted life for the Glory of God, our Father Alone.
So today just ask Him what He is doing in this earth and how you can participate. Ask Him to help you lock your eyes on Him and be about His business. Then and then only will Isaiah 35:1-8 be the prophecy revealed in Truth because that is our Father’s Business.
Isaiah 35:1-8 The Voice (VOICE)
35 Imagine the wilderness whooping for joy,
the desert’s unbridled happiness with its spring flowers.
2 It will happen! The deserts will come alive with new growth budding and blooming,
singing and celebrating with sheer delight.
The glory of Lebanon’s cedars and the majesty of Carmel and Sharon
will spill over to the deserts.
The glory of the Eternal One will be on full display there,
and they will revel in the majestic splendor of our God.
3 So, with confidence and hope in this message,
strengthen those with feeble hands, shore up the weak-kneed and weary.
4 Tell those who worry, the anxious and fearful,
“Take strength; have courage! There’s nothing to fear.
Look, here—your God! Right here is your God!
The balance is shifting; God will right all wrongs.
None other than God will give you success.
He is coming to make you safe.”
5 Then, such healing, such repair: the eyes of the blind will be opened;
the ears of the deaf will be clear.
6-7 The lame will leap like deer excited;
they will run and jump tirelessly and gracefully.
The stutterer, the stammerer, and the tongue of the mute
will sing out loud and clear in joyful song.
Waters will pour through the deserts;
streams will flow in godforsaken lands.
Burning sands and hardened wastelands will become pools, shimmering with life;
the thirsty ground will drink deep from refreshing springs.
Abandoned villages where predators once lurked will become grassy playgrounds.
Dry, arid land will turn lush and green.
8 And the road to this happy renovation will be clearly signed.
People will declare the way itself to be holy—the route, “sacred.”
Only those who are right with God
will be able to walk its pleasant path,
And nobody—no visitor, no dimwit—will get lost along it.
Seek the LORD first daily and lead the Powerful, Prayerful and Fasted life that He was born, died and rose again for you to have. Be the Overcomer that He called you to be and let’s be the Victorious People that He is coming back for. May we all follow the example of Jesus and be about Our Father’s Business.
