Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of November 29, 2020

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the God of gods. His love endures forever. Give thanks to the Lord of lords: His love endures forever. To him who alone does great wonders, His love endures forever. Psalm 136:1-4 (NIV)

What would you answer if asked what is your greatest need or desire? Most of us would acknowledge the deepest longingly of our hearts is to be loved. We all long for and cherish the loving relationships of family and friends. We are encouraged in these scriptures to give thanks to The Lord, God of gods, and Lord of lords because His love endures forever. In this Psalm, there are twenty-six declarations that His love endures forever after verses extolling the majesty of God’s creation, His awesome wonders, His mighty power and extravagant mercy. During this season of Thanksgiving we often remember and share the many things we have to be thankful for. It is also good to be reminded how blessed we are and to give thanks to The Lord because He is good, He does great wonders, and His steadfast love for us endures forever!

Scripture of The Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of November 22, 2020

Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Have you ever wondered how to find God’s will? What if the three things listed in this verse were the keys to discovering and experiencing God’s will? In the many tests, trials and desperate situations we face each day we all face the opportunities to choose how we respond to life’s difficulties. What if we would choose to rejoice in the Lords’s overcoming power instead of worrying? What if we would choose to pray in faith instead of yielding to fear? And, what if we would choose to give thanks for the opportunity to see God demonstrate His goodness to us instead of grumbling and complaining? In Matthew 19:26 Jesus said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Welcome God’s sufficient grace for today in everything that comes your way. Choose to rejoice, pray and give thanks in everything. It will set your feet on the path of God’s will to receive His abundant blessings concerning you. Yes, Lord!

The Divine Exchange by Beth Auman

Psalm 28:1-9By David: Adonai, I am calling to you; my Rock, don’t be deaf to my cry For if you answer me with silence, I will be like those who fall in a pit. Hear the sound of my prayers when I cry to you, when I lift my hands toward your holy sanctuary. Don’t drag me off with the wicked, with those whose deeds are evil; they speak words of peace to their fellowmen, but evil is in their hearts. Pay them back for their deeds, as befits their evil acts; repay them for what they have done, give them what they deserve. For they don’t understand the deeds of Adonai or what he has done. He will break them down; he will not build them up. Blessed be Adonai, for he heard my voice as I prayed for mercy. Adonai is my strength and shield; in him my heart trusted, and I have been helped. Therefore my heart is filled with joy, and I will sing praises to him. Adonai is strength for [his people], a stronghold of salvation to his anointed. Save your people! Bless your heritage! Shepherd them, and carry them forever!

Read this out loud to Adonai and allow Him to settle some things that are happening in your life.  This is the month of Kislev.

The Hebraic letter for the month of Kislev is “Samekh” which is a picture of trust, support, and coming full circle. May we all find a new level of trust and support in Adonai this month that will bring us full circle; ending some things that need to cease so that we can step forward into all the new He has for us in Him. (From FaithTestimony/Quest… see link below).

“Samekh” Psalm 119:113-120 I hate doubleminded people, but I love your Torah. You are my hiding-place and shield; I put my hope in your word. Leave me alone, you evildoers, so that I can keep my God’s mitzvot. Uphold me, as you promised; and I will live; don’t disappoint me in my hope. Support me; and I will be saved, always putting my attention on your laws. You reject all who stray from your laws, for what they deceive themselves with is false. You discard the wicked of the earth like slag; this is why I love your instruction. My body trembles for fear of you; your rulings make me afraid. (Exert from The Quest of the Overcomers by Beth Auman & JoBeth Kested, https://faithtestimony.org/quest-of-the-overcomers-by-beth-auman-and-jobeth-kested/)

The letter Samekh see how the Samekh is a full circle. Adonai wants to bring many things in our lives full circle. Another way to look at this is the word shalom in Hebrew. Shalom means complete, nothing missing, nothing broken, whole. Adonai’s desire for each of us is for our lives to be whole, mind, body, spirit. No fragmentation. When we yield unto Him and lay down our lives before Him as an offering, there is a divine exchange. He takes our sorrow, sadness, despair and gives us joy. He takes our shame, filth and our disgrace and makes us clean. He takes our bitterness, our wounds, our rejection and our fragmentation and He heals us through the blood of Yeshua (Jesus) and He makes us whole.

Many people receive Yeshua (Jesus) as LORD and yet never allow Him the opportunity to make things come full circle in their lives here on earth. Yeshua (Jesus) said in John 10:10 CJB 10 The thief comes only in order to steal, kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, life in its fullest measure.

You cannot receive the fullest measure without allowing Adonai to bring things in your life full circle (Samekh). The divine exchange is laying down all the things that are wrong, painful, sinful, dirty, hurtful, sad, bitter, anything contrary to the Word of God and exchanging these for life in its fullest measure. That is why Yeshua Jesus came. That is why He was born, lived a sinless life, died, went to hell, took the keys from the devil and rose again. So that each of us would have the opportunity to believe in Him and have the eternal, everlasting abundant life that He came for us to have.

Yet, many believers continue to live a fragmented and tormented lives. They refuse to lay their stuff down and allow Yeshua (Jesus) to make them Shalom (whole).

Please enter into the Holy of Holies with me today and ask Adonai to search you for anything that is fragmented in your life. When He puts His finger on something, lay it down before Him and apply the blood of Yeshua (Jesus) over it. Leave it there and allow Him to make you Shalom (whole), bring it full circle (Samekh).

Here is a prayer for you to pray.

Adonai, I come before You today and ask that You search my heart. If there is anything within me that is fragmented in any way, please reveal it to me. As You reveal my fragmented heart to me, I yield it back to You in Jesus name. I lay it down. Never to pick it back up. I desire Your divine exchange LORD. More than my next breath. Make Psalm 28 a reality in my life, Adonai my Elohim in Yeshua (Jesus) Name.

I lay it down and You make me whole. That is the divine exchange. I want Your abundant, fullest measure of life. I want to fulfill my destiny and be who You created me to be.

My declaration today is:

Psalm 28:6-9

Blessed be Adonai,
for he heard my voice as I prayed for mercy.
Adonai is my strength and shield;
in him my heart trusted, and I have been helped.
Therefore my heart is filled with joy,
and I will sing praises to him.

Adonai is strength for [his people],
a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.
Save your people! Bless your heritage!
Shepherd them, and carry them forever!

I apply the blood of Yeshua (Jesus) over my prayer today and seal this divine exchange by Your Holy Spirit. Amen

Blessings and Shalom to all of you today.

Bless the LORD oh my soul!!

 Kislev means: Trust, Security and Hope

Tribe: Benjamin

The Hebraic letter for the month of Kislev is “Samekh” which is a picture of trust, support, and coming full circle. May we all find a new level of trust and support in Adonai this month that will bring us full circle; ending some things that need to cease so that we can step forward into all the new He has for us in Him. Kislev is also the month of Hanukkah, The Feast of Lights. Celebrated on December 10-18 (Remember Yeshua celebrated Hanukkah we are to do what He did).

The Feast of Dedication – Hanukkah, is a Festival of Lights which is portrayed by the Menorah that was displayed in the Holy of Holies.

Kislev is known as the month of dreams. The word for dream in Hebrew is “chalom” and is derived from the verb meaning “to be made healthy or strong.” This is a month to watch our sleep patterns as the Lord often speaks to us in dreams. “He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.” (Ps 127:2 NASB) He imparts revelations, warnings, encouragement and truth with understanding for our future. Each dream is a parable to be revealed. The Torah portions for the month of Kislev contain more dream references than any other month.

You may want to begin keeping a dream journal during this month of Kislev. Adonai seals instructions in our hearts through our dreams. Sleep is actually a metaphor for death and the new moons are symbolic times of resurrection. Human beings sleep appropriately one third of our lives. Let’s become more and more aware of our dreams and how our LORD wants to communicate with us while we sleep. (Exert taken from https://faithtestimony.org/quest-of-the…/kislev-5780/) This was written for 5780 however, it all applies to 5781)

Blessings and Shalom during the Month of Kislev 5781..

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of November 15, 2020

Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. Isaiah 46:9 (NIV)

Have you heard the saying,”You can’t know where you are going unless you know where you came from”? When we remember the stories of those before us that overcame great trials, handicaps, poverty, and wars we are encouraged that we can also overcome the trials before us. Likewise, God instructs us in this scripture to remember the former things. In the midst of our current needs and busyness, have we forgotten the answered prayers and miracles we’ve experienced or learned in the past that will inspire our faith to trust God today? Twice God declares that He alone is God and there is none like Him! Let us remember there is no other God whose very nature is love, extends mercy, offers peace, forgives sin, heals diseases, saves the lost, wipes away all our tears and knows the number of hairs on our heads! Yet, He is the King of Kings, Lord of Lords and commands the Angel Armies of Heaven. There is no other God like our God!

Miracles in the Sky Witnessed by Beth Auman

On Sunday, November 8th, 2020 I was sitting the our vehicle and I looked up and watched Adonai form the Hebrew letter Shin in the sky before me. I knew immediately what was forming and began Praising Him for allowing me to view His miracle in the sky.

Shin is the 21st letter in the Hebrew AlephBet and 21 numerically equals 300.  21 = 3*7..777.  This tripling of 7 can mean a multiplication of rest, holiness, or seven Spirits of God, but can also depict judgement and the spirit of antichrist. as seen from in the Book of Revelation in the triplets of seven.  This can also mean delay or to stand against as seen in the Book of Daniel, 13 The prince of the kingdom of Persia prevented me from coming for twenty-one days; but Mikha’el, one of the chief princes, came to assist me; so that I was no longer needed there with the kings of Persia.

This miracle in the sky has a very weighty meaning from Adonai. I began asking Him what Adonai do you want me to decree and I began seeking Him and studying.

As all Hebrew Letters there is a great meaning as well as a numeric value. Shin literally means “teeth”, “press”, “sharp”, “change” “fire” to devour,” “chew on”, “destroy,” “think about.” “ponder,”tongues of fire,”  “sharpen.” “press,” “eat,” “consume.” Shin in gematria stands for the Hebrew name for God Shaddai. Because of this the Koen (priest) forms the letter Shin with their hands as he recites the Priestly Blessing.

Psalm 119 gives a detailed description in the Bible of each Hebrew letter. Please read:

Psalm 119-161

(Shin)

161 Princes persecute me for no reason,
but my heart stands in awe of your words.
162 I take joy in your promise,
like someone who finds much booty.
163 I hate falsehood, I detest it;
but I love your Torah.
164 I praise you seven times a day
because of your righteous rulings.
165 Those who love your Torah have great peace;
nothing makes them stumble.
166 I hope for your deliverance, Adonai;
I obey your mitzvot.
167 My soul observes your instruction,
and I love it so much!
168 I observe your precepts and instruction,
for all my ways lie open before you.

Acts 2:17-21

Adonai says:

“In the Last Days,
I will pour out from my Spirit upon everyone.
Your sons and daughters will prophesy,

your young men will see visions,
your old men will dream dreams.
18 Even on my slaves, both men and women,
will I pour out from my Spirit in those days;
and they will prophesy.
19 I will perform miracles in the sky above
and signs on the earth below —
blood, fire and thick smoke.
20 The sun will become dark
and the moon blood
before the great and fearful Day of Adonai comes.
21 And then, whoever calls on the name of Adonai will be saved.”’[a]

At the present time in our United States of America we are in a war. A war between Life and Death, literally!

I Praise Adonai for allowing me to see His miracle in the sky and after much prayer, this is the decree.

I declare and decree before Almighty God, El-Shaddai today in the mighty and matchless name above all other names Yeshua our Messiah, (Jesus).  Adonai, bring Your fire, protect Your people and the place of Your heart. Snatch all of those doing evil in Your sight with the sharpness of Your teeth.

58 (0) For the leader. Set to “Do Not Destroy.” By David, a mikhtam:

(1) [Rulers,] does your silence really speak justice?
Are you judging people fairly?
(2) [No!] In your hearts you devise wrongs,
your hands dispense violence in the land.

(3) From the womb, the wicked are estranged,
liars on the wrong path since birth.
(4) Their venom is like snake’s venom;
they are like a serpent that stops its ears,
(5) so as not to hear the voice of the charmer,
no matter how well he plays.

(6) God, break their teeth in their mouth!
Shatter the fangs of these lions, Adonai!
(7) May they vanish like water that drains away.
May their arrows be blunted when they aim their bows.
(8) May they be like a slug that melts as it moves,
like a stillborn baby that never sees the sun.
10 (9) Before your cook-pots feel the heat of the burning thorns,
may he blow them away, green and blazing alike.

11 (10) The righteous will rejoice to see vengeance done,
they will wash their feet in the blood of the wicked;
12 (11) and people will say, “Yes, the righteous are rewarded;
there is, after all, a God who judges the earth.”

Adonai, our El-Shaddai – THE ALL SUFFICIENT GOD! https://www.hebrew4christians.com/Names_of_G-d/El/el.html

I stand before You with this decree and declaration. I do not limit You in anyway, my desire is for You to be who You are and in Yeshua’s, Jesus Name, Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Matthew 6:9-13

You, therefore, pray like this:

‘Our Father in heaven!
    May your Name be kept holy.
10 May your Kingdom come,
    your will be done on earth as in heaven.

11 Give us the food we need today.
12 Forgive us what we have done wrong,
    as we too have forgiven those who have wronged us.
13 And do not lead us into hard testing,
    but keep us safe from the Evil One.
[a]For kingship, power and glory are yours forever.

Amen.’

The Almighty God – El Shaddai has given all of us a sign and miracle in the heavens. It is my sincere hope that each of you will declare this decree in Yesuha’s (Jesus) Name Amen

I generally don’t share other peoples videos on Faith Testimony, however, JoBeth sent this to me and I truly feel that it is so relevant. Please watch James Durham’s Testimony and teaching on the Hebrew letter Shin.

The Hebrew Letter SHIN

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of November 8, 2020

But Moses said to the people, “Fear not! Stand firm! And see the salvation of the Lord, which He will show you today. For the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall never see again. The Lord shall fight for you, while you hold your peace.” Exodus 14:13-14 (MEV)

Have you ever felt trapped between the battles behind you and impossibilities before you with no understanding what to do? The words of Moses in these scriptures remind us that our God Almighty is with us! We are commanded to relinquish our fears, to stand strong and cling to Him in renewed hope for He is fighting to save us. When we cast all our fears on the Lord, He stills our hearts and restores our peace to trust that He is more than able to move mountains, part the seas and destroy all things against us never to be seen again! Lift your eyes to see the salvation of God in your life today. Abide in the divine gift of freedom from all fear with the peace of God that passes all understanding knowing that He fights for you. Selah, ponder and rest in this truth. Amen!
