Speak the Truth in Love by Beth Auman

We are to Passover and keep Passing over until we have Overcome. Are you Passing Over the sin structures in your life? Are you able to say that you have been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb out of the hand of the enemy? OR are you bowing to the sin nature of this world and aligning yourself with the devil?

Ephisians 4 has everything to do with this day that we find ourselves living in. It appears that everywhere we turn there are those who truly believe that everyone is just fine. No matter what they are doing, we are to accept people just the way that they are, regardless of what type of sin that they are practicing. This is not the Truth! Lovingly I urge you to read Ephesians 4.

We are to walk worthy of the calling to which we were called – with complete humility and gentleness, with patience, putting up with one another in love, making every effort to keep the unity of Ruach in the bond of shalom. (Eph 4:1-3)

We are to have the complete understanding that there is one body and one Ruach, just as you also were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one immersion’ one God and Father of all; who is over all and through all and in all. (Eph 4:4-6)

We are to have received the grace, each one of us. But to each one of us grace was given in keeping with the measure of Messiah’s gift. Therefore it says,“When He went up on high, He led captive a troop of captives and gave gifts to his people.”[b] Now what does “He went up” mean, except that He first went down to the lower regions of the earth? [c] 10 The One who came down is the same One who went up far above all the heavens, in order to fill all things. (Eph 4:7-9)

We are to know what “He went up” means:

Now what does “He went up” mean, except that He first went down to the lower regions of the earth? [c] 10 The One who came down is the same One who went up far above all the heavens, in order to fill all things.

11 He Himself gave some to be emissaries, some as prophets, some as proclaimers of the Good News, and some as shepherds and teachers— 12 to equip the kedoshim for the work of service, for building up the body of Messiah. 13 This will continue until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of Ben-Elohim—to mature adulthood, to the measure of the stature of Messiah’s fullness. 14 As a result, we are no longer to be like children, tossed around by the waves and blown all over by every wind of teaching, by the trickery of men with cunning in deceitful scheming. 15 Instead, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all ways into Messiah, who is the Head. 16 From Him the whole body is fitted and held together by every supporting ligament. The proper working of each individual part produces the body’s growth, for building itself up in love. (Eph 10-16) (Bold and Italics added for emphasis).

We are to  Put Off The Old, Put On The New:

17 So I tell you this, indeed I insist on it in the Lord—walk no longer as the pagans do, stumbling around in the futility of their thinking. 18 They are darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance in them due to the hardness of their heart. 19 Since they are past feeling, they have turned themselves over to indecency for the practice of every kind of immorality, with greed for more.

20 However, you did not learn Messiah in this way— 21 if indeed you have heard Him and were taught in Him, as the truth is in Yeshua. 22 With respect to your former lifestyle, you are to lay aside the old self corrupted by its deceitful desires, 23 be renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and put on the new self—created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness. (Eph 4-17-24)

We are to evaluate ourselves and lay aside lying and “each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another.

25 So lay aside lying and “each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,”[d] for we are members of one another. 26 “Be angry, yet do not sin.”[e] Do not let the sun go down on your anger, [f] 27 nor give the devil a foothold. 28 The one who steals must steal no longer—instead he must work, doing something useful with his own hands, so he may have something to share with the one who has need. 29 Let no harmful word come out of your mouth, but only what is beneficial for building others up according to the need, so that it gives grace to those who hear it. 30 Do not grieve the Ruach ha-Kodesh of God,[g] by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Get rid of all bitterness and rage and anger and quarreling and slander, along with all malice. 32 Instead, be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other just as God in Messiah also forgave you. (Eph 4:25-32)

This is Not what I see happening today. We cannot overlook, accept, comply with or engage ourselves with others sin. We are to speak the Truth in Love. Jesus (Yeshua) said it plainly in John 14:6 Yeshua said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life! No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Jesus (Yeshua) IS the Truth. We are to speak Jesus (Yeshua) to everyone that we meet. He never came into agreement with sin. The only one that He ever cancelled was the Devil. Jesus (Yeshua) dealt with sin face to face and people were delivered and set free.

I encourage you to read Revelation chapters 20 – 22 in the Tree of Life or Complete Jewish Bible. If you choose to read this may Adonai our Elohim open the eyes of your understanding and may you See from His perspective why we are to speak Truth in Love and not come into agreement or bow to sin.

Revelation 20:10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are too, and they shall be tortured day and night forever and ever.

Love Beyond Measure, Blessings and Shalom in Jesus (Yeshua’s) Name.

Ephesians 4

Unity of the Body and of God

Therefore I, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you were called— with complete humility and gentleness, with patience, putting up with one another in love, making every effort to keep the unity of the Ruach in the bond of shalom.

There is one body and one Ruach,
    just as you also were called in one hope of your calling;
one Lord, one faith, one immersion;
one God and Father of all,[a]
who is over all and through all and in all.

But to each one of us grace was given in keeping with the measure of Messiah’s gift. Therefore it says,

“When He went up on high,
He led captive a troop of captives
and gave gifts to his people.”[b]

Put Off The Old, Put On The New

    Revelation 20

    The First Resurrection

20 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the abyss and a great chain. He seized the dragon—the ancient serpent, who is the devil and satan—and bound him for a thousand years. [a] He also threw him into the abyss and locked and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed. After these things, he must be released for a short while.

Then I saw thrones, and people sat upon them—those to whom authority to judge was given.[b] And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Yeshua and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image, nor had they received his mark on their forehead or on their hand. And they came to life[c] and reigned with the Messiah for a thousand years.

The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were completed. This is the first resurrection. How fortunate and holy is the one who has a share in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no authority, but they shall be kohanim of God and the Messiah, and they shall reign with Him for a thousand years.

    Judgment After 1000 Years

When the thousand years has ended, satan shall be released from his prison, and he shall come out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for the battle.[d] Their number is like the sand of the sea. And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the kedoshim and the beloved city—but fire fell from heaven and consumed them.[e]

10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are too, and they shall be tortured day and night forever and ever.

11 Then I saw a great white throne, and the One seated on it. The earth and heaven fled from His presence, but no place was found for them. 12 And I saw the dead—the great and the small—standing before the throne. The books were opened, and another book was opened—the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what was written in the books, according to their deeds. [f] 13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Sheol gave up the dead in them. Then they were each judged, each one of them, according to their deeds.

14 Then death and Sheol were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death—the lake of fire. 15 And if anyone was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

    Revelation 21

A New Heaven and a New Earth

21 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.[g]

I also saw the holy city—the New Jerusalem—coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [h] I also heard a loud voice from the throne, saying,

“Behold, the dwelling of God is among men,
and He shall tabernacle among them.
    They shall be His people,
and God Himself shall be among them
        and be their God.[i]
He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes,[j]
and death shall be no more.
Nor shall there be mourning or crying or pain any longer,
for the former things have passed away.”

And the One seated upon the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new!” Then He said, “Write, for these words are trustworthy and true.”

Then He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will freely give from the spring of the water of life. [k] The one who overcomes shall inherit these things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. [l] But for the cowardly and faithless and detestable and murderers and sexually immoral and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars—their lot is in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

    The New Jerusalem

Then came one of the seven angels holding the seven bowls full of the seven final plagues, and he spoke with me, saying, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”

10 Then he carried me away in the Ruach to a great and high mountain,[m] and he showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, 11 having the glory of God—her radiance like a most precious stone, like a jasper, sparkling like crystal. 12 She had a great, high wall, with twelve gates, and above the gates twelve angels. On the gates were inscribed the names of the twelve tribes of Bnei-Yisrael 13 three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. [n] 14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the twelve names of the twelve emissaries of the Lamb.

15 The angel speaking with me had a gold measuring rod to measure the city and its gates and walls. [o] 16 The city is laid out as a square—its length the same as its width. He measured the city with the rod—12,000 stadia.[p] Its length and width and height are equal. 17 He also measured its wall—144 cubits by human measurement, which is also an angel’s measurement. 18 The material of the city’s wall was jasper, while the city was pure gold, clear as glass. 19 The foundations of the city wall were decorated with every kind of precious stone—the first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, chalcedony; the fourth, emerald; 20 the fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, carnelian; the seventh, yellow topaz; the eighth; beryl; the ninth, topaz; the tenth, chrysoprase; the eleventh, jacinth; the twelfth, amethyst. 21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls—each of the gates was from a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass.

22 I saw no temple in her, for its Temple is Adonai Elohei-Tzva’ot and the Lamb. 23 And the city has no need for the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God lights it up, and its lamp is the Lamb. [q] 24 The nations shall walk by its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory into it. [r] 25 Its gates shall never be shut by day,[s] for there shall be no night there! 26 And they shall bring into it the glory and honor of the nations. 27 And nothing unholy[t] shall ever enter it, nor anyone doing what is detestable or false,[u] but only those written in the Book of Life.

    Revelation 22

22 Then the angel showed me a river of the water of life—bright as crystal,[v] flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the city’s street. On either side of the river was a tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. [w] No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in the city, and His servants shall serve Him. They shall see His face,[x] and His name shall be on their foreheads. [y] Night shall be no more, and people will have no need for lamplight or sunlight—for Adonai Elohim will shine on them.[z] And they shall reign forever and ever!

    Yeshua Is Coming

He said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true! Adonai, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent His angel to show His servants what must happen soon. [aa] Behold, I am coming soon! How fortunate is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.”

I, John, am the one hearing and seeing these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel showing me these things. But he tells me, “See that you do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets and those keeping the words of this book. Worship God!”

10 Then he tells me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. [ab] 11 Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do righteousness, and the holy still be holy. [ac] 12 Behold, I am coming soon, and My reward is with Me, to pay back each one according to his deeds.

13 “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. [ad] 14 How fortunate are those who wash their robes,[ae] so that they may have the right to the Tree of Life[af] and may enter through the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the sexually immoral and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. 16 I, Yeshua, have sent My angel to testify these things to you for My communities. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.”[ag]

17 The Ruach and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come—let the one who wishes freely take the water of life! [ah] 18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book. If anyone adds to them, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book; 19 and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his share in the Tree of Life and the Holy City,[ai] which are written in this book.

20 The One giving testimony to these things says, “Yes! I am coming soon!” Amen! Come, Lord Yeshua! [aj] 21 May the grace of the Lord Yeshua be with all![ak]

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of March 28, 2021

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 NKJV
Have you ever felt like the cowardly lion in the Wizard of Oz; lacking in strength and courage? Are you feeling overwhelmed and afraid of facing what may be ahead of you? The Lord spoke this word to Joshua as he faced the daunting challenge of leading the children of Israel into their promised land where they faced giants and enemy armies. Sometimes, we find impossible giants and overwhelming enemies in front of us, that we must overcome, on the road to our promised land of destiny, too. Our Almighty God would not command us to be strong and of good courage without also giving us the promise that He is with us and able to supply all our needs. (Philippians 4:19) Father God, grant us strength in our weakness, courage instead of fear, and renewed faith in the power of Your presence for the future and hope you have planned for us. God is Good! Amen! (Jeremiah 29:11)

Passover – One Lamb

Passover – 5781

One Lamb for the household – Generational Salvation through the Lamb of God – Jesus

The Word tells us that Adonai instructed One Lamb for household. Adonai even said that if your household is too small for a lamb, then share with your nearest neighbor according to the number of people.

Jesus Christ is our Lord – He is the Lamb that was slain for the forgiveness of sin.

John 1:29 NASB The next day he *saw Jesus coming to him and *said, “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Revelation 12:11 (NASB) 11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even [a]when faced with death.

Many Christians have embraced the Hebraic Roots of their faith in Jesus. Realizing that Jesus of course was and still is Hebrew Born. That Adonai has a calendar that we must learn about and that we are to observe the Feasts times that He instructed. For no other reason than because He said so and it is important to HIM.

Ephesians 2:14-16 (NASB) 14 For He Himself is our peace, who made both groups into one and broke down the [a]barrier of the dividing wall, 15 [b]by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might [c]make the two into one new man, thus establishing peace, 16 and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, [d]by it having put to death the enmity.

One New Man, thus establishing peace and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, by it having put to death the enmity.  Jesus, made Himself our Shalom, who made both groups into one and broke down the barrier of the dividing wall, by abolishing in His flesh the enmity, which is the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, so that in Himself He might make the two into ONE NEW MAN.

The Word of God does not free us in this statement from celebrating the Feasts – He combines us and our desire is to take the one Lamb per household and apply the Blood of Jesus over our Generations and our neighbors. One Lamb per household and if you are a small household – then Share.  Jesus, Himself said it this way. Mark 16:15 (NASB) 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

Adonai has a calendar and within His calendar there is a cycle of First Fruits – each new month beginning with the First month which is Nissan – and contains Passover – this is the First of the First because Adonai said so in His Word. Nothing ever erased anything in His Word. The Bible is ONE as Father Son and Holy Spirit are ONE. You cannot separate it because you want to think of an old covenant and a new one. You must embrace it and know that every Word gives revelation of Jesus Christ Our Lord.

Please read this and allow the Lord to give you Revelation from His heart.

Exodus 12:1-25 Now Adonai spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying, “This month will mark the beginning of months for you; it is to be the first month of the year for you. Tell all the congregation of Israel that on the tenth day of this month, each man is to take a lamb for his family one lamb for the household. But if the household is too small for a lamb, then he and his nearest neighbor are to take one according to the number of the people. According to each person eating, you are to make your count for the lamb. Your lamb is to be without blemish, a year old male. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats. You must watch over it until the fourteenth day of the same month. Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel is to slaughter it at twilight. They are to take the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the crossbeam of the houses where they will eat it. They are to eat the meat that night, roasted over a fire. With matzot and bitter herbs they are to eat it. Do not eat any of it raw or boiled with water, but only roasted with fire—its head with its legs and its innards. So let nothing of it remain until the morning. Whatever remains until the morning you are to burn with fire. Also you are to eat it this way: with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in haste. It is Adonai’s Passover. “For I will go through the land of Egypt on that night and strike down every firstborn, both men and animals, and I will execute judgments against all the gods of Egypt. I am Adonai. The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are. When I see the blood, I will pass over you. So there will be no plague among you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. “This day is to be a memorial for you. You are to keep it as a feast to Adonai. Throughout your generations you are to keep it as an eternal ordinance. For seven days you are to eat matzot, but on the first day you must remove hametz from your houses, for whoever eats hametz from the first day until the seventh day, that soul will be cut off from Israel. The first day is to be a holy assembly for you as well as the seventh day. No manner of work is to be done on those days, except what is to be eaten by every person—that alone may be prepared by you. So you are to observe the Feast of Matzot, for on this very same day have I brought your ranks out of the land of Egypt. Therefore you are to observe this day throughout your generations as an eternal ordinance. During the first month in the evening of the fourteenth day of the month, you are to eat matzot, until the evening of the twenty-first day of the month. For seven days no hametz is to be found in your houses, for whoever eats hametz, that soul will be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is an outsider or one who is born in the land. You are to eat no hametz; in all your houses you are to eat matzot.” Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Go, select lambs for your families and slaughter the Passover lamb. You are to take a bundle of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and apply it to the crossbeam and two doorposts with the blood from the basin. None of you may go out the door of his house until morning. Adonai will pass through to strike down the Egyptians, but when He sees the blood on the crossbeam and the two doorposts, Adonai will pass over that door, and will not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you down. Also you are to observe this event as an eternal ordinance, for you and your children. “When you come into the land which Adonai will give you as He has promised, you are to keep this ceremony.

As a family, we do not celebrate Passover in a Religious way. We come together and celebrate that Adonai gave one lamb per household – Jesus. He is our Salvation.  We apply the blood of the Lamb on our doorposts. Decree Salvation to our generations and have a meal together. We praise the Lord and thank Him for His plan. We ask Him to help us celebrate His Feasts His way and we learn something new each year.

This year I truly hope that you will allow the Lord to minister His Revelation to you and see that there is no bunny or egg in the Bible. Bunnies are not evil nor are eggs but they have nothing at all to do with the Life, Death, Burial or Resurrection of Jesus our LORD. You are responsible for what you teach others and that God’s Word is 100% all that we need now and forever. Take a moment and ask Him how to celebrate. He will lead you and guide you into all truth and you will have a closer relationship with Him. He Loves you and wants you to know what He Loves.

Allow the Lord through His Passover Lamb who takes away the sins of the entire world to bring Salvation to your entire household, your generation. WOW! A Lamb for a household. John 16:13 (NASB) 13 But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

Revelation 12:11 (NASB) 11 And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even [a]when faced with death.

Make this Decree over your life: I have Passed over from death unto life by the Blood of the Lamb out of the hand of the enemy. (Dr. Robert Heidler)

Today, I apply the blood of the Lamb – Jesus the Messiah over our doorposts. I praise the Lord for the miracle deliverance of the Jewish people out of the hand of their enemy in Egypt.

I declare that I have passed over from death unto life by the blood of the Lamb out of the hand of the enemy and I ask Adonai for your Salvation. I have received The Lamb for my household and anyone who is near to me who needs to know the Lamb who was slain for the forgiveness of all sins – Please ask Him to forgive your sins today, apply the blood of the Lamb over your doorposts and receive Jesus as your Lord and Messiah and Pass Over from death unto Life. Amen and Amen

May the Shalom (Wholeness) of Jesus the Messiah be your portion always and may you Shalam (Receive) all that He has for you.

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of March 21, 2021

For the Lord is a great God and a great King above all gods, in whose hand are the depths of the earth, the peaks of the mountains are His also. The sea is His, for it was He who made it, and His hands formed the dry land. Come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. Psalm 95:3-6 (NASB)

Have you ever had your breath taken away by the beauty of an ocean sunset, stood in awe of snow capped mountains or thrilled by the delicate display of wild flowers in a meadow? Elohim, the Creator God, the most masterful of all artists, reveals Himself to us in the minuscule and extravagant details of His creation. God displays His majesty in the loftiness of mountain peaks and the splendor of ocean depths. We are humbled by His sovereignty expressed in the brilliant display of lightening and the blustering winds of powerful storms. His mercies that are new every morning are revealed in every glorious sunrise. The Lord tenderly captivates our hearts in the loveliness of butterfly wings, the fragrance of roses and the awe of a sleeping baby. Then, wonder of all wonders we are invited to call Him Father because He loves us! Come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.

Scripture for the week of March 14, 2021

Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Psalms 103:1-2 NKJV

When you were kids did you and your siblings ever bicker over which one was the favorite child? Isn’t it wonderful if you’ve ever had a day where you feel so blessed like you are God’s favorite! Not so much when it feels like He has lost your address and forgotten your name. This Psalm was written by King David, the youngest of twelve sons. Many believe he may have been illegitimate because he was not presented when the Prophet Samuel came to his fathers house to anoint a king. David had the job of being a sheep herder in the family business that kept him isolated and far away out of sight. We can imagine him on a remote mountainside, playing his harp, choosing to worship the Lord to comfort his lonely soul. In our desolate places, maybe like David, we need to command our souls (mind, will and emotions) to rise up out of the pity place and to remember all of God’s blessings, mercy, underserved grace and enduring love. Oh yes, bless the Lord oh my soul!

Nissan 5781

Welcome to the Head of Months, Nissan 5781. Please enjoy this excerpt from The Quest of the Overcomer by Beth Auman and JoBeth Kested.

Nissan (Abib or Aviv) begins on March 14th, 5781on the night before in the Jewish custom, through April 12th and is the month known as the First of Months. Though Nissan is the beginning of months, the new civic calendar year does not begin until September, in the month of Tishrei, during the Fall Feast of Rosh Hashanah, known as the Head of the Year (Exodus 34:22; Leviticus 25:9-10).

“Now the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, “This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you.” Exodus 12:1-2

What is the fruit from the Tree of Life that the Lord is offering to us in this month of Nissan? (Revelation 22:2a)

Clue – Praise!

The tribe of Judah is linked with the month of Nissan and means praise. Judah’s mother, Leah, declared at his birth, “This time I will praise the Lord.” (Genesis 29:35It is significant that Judah is aligned with Nissan because Judah, the tribe of praise, was also designated by God to lead first in battle. (Judges 1:2; 20:18) And they defeated their enemies!

“…Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the LORD, and who should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army and were saying: “Praise the LORD, For His mercy endures forever.” II Chronicles 20:20b-21

The letter “Hei”, from the Hebrew alphabet, is also associated with the month of Nissan; which is a picture of wind, breath and praise.

Clue – We get the term Jew from the Hebraic word Yehudah, for Judah.

Because we have received our salvation from sin through the sacrifice of Jesus, the Lamb who takes away the sins of the world, we are grafted into the promises of Israel (Romans 11:17-19). Therefore, we too, are Yehudi’s! We are also those called to raise our hands to “Praise the LORD” in triumph with victory over our enemies in battle! We are Yehudi’s, therefore, this scripture definitely applies to each of us, too!

Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, with Jehoshaphat in front of them, to go back to Jerusalem with joy, for the LORD had made them rejoice over their enemies.”

II Chronicles 20:27

There are three important Appointed Times of celebrations in the month of Nissan:

Rosh Codesh – the First Fruit Celebration marking our covenant with God and seeking Him first. This is a monthly celebration at the beginning of every month.

Feast of Unleavened Bread – Seven days of eating unleavened bread because God directed remembrance of the Israelites having to flee Egypt in haste with no time for their bread to rise. In Orthodox homes, it requires deep cleaning to remove all yeast, symbolic of sin, from their lives.

Passover – The Celebration of Moses and the Israelites moving out of the land of Egypt and deliverance from Pharaoh, their cruel task master that held them in harsh slavery. God gave instruction to apply the blood of the Lamb over the door post and the spirit of death Passed Over them. They experienced God’s deliverance from all of the plagues of Egypt and they Passed Over through the Red Sea into freedom as they saw the destruction of their enemies.

What can we Christians learn from Passover?

Clue – The Lamb Who takes away the sins of the world.

“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” John 1:29

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” Revelation 5:12

Let’s focus on the significance of Passover in our Journey of the Overcomers. In the Feast of Passover we find so many types and shadows of Yeshua Hamashia, Jesus the Messiah, our salvation and deliverer. The innocent sacrificial Lamb, whose blood was applied on the doorpost of each family’s home; at the head, each side of the upper lintels and feet, symbolic of Jesus nailed to the cross. The partaking of the unleavened bread and wine, symbolic of the sinless, broken body and shed blood of Jesus for the forgiveness of our sins. The cloud of death that passed over the Israelites houses with the blood of the Lamb on the door posts, whereas the firstborn in every house in Egypt died; symbolizing our deliverance from death to eternal life. Passing through the parted waters of the Red Sea to freedom from slavery; symbolizing the waters of baptism where we experience the washing away of our sins to a resurrected life in Jesus and entering freedom from the slavery of our sins. The Lord’s destruction of all their enemies in the Red Sea; which is a significant illustration for our understanding of the power of the blood of Jesus to destroy all of our enemies! Oh, what joyous praise be unto to Jesus; our Passover Lamb!

“Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the LORD, and spoke, saying: “I will sing to the LORD, for He has triumphed gloriously! The horse and its rider He has thrown into the sea! The LORD is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.” Exodus 15:1-2

How are we to apply this revelation of the Celebration of Passover under the Blood Covenant of Jesus Christ?

Clue – It is not a matter of Religion – it is a matter of Relationship.

By seeking and submitting our lives unto the LORD each month and asking Him to teach us, we will discover how to partake of the Fruit of His Spirit from the Tree of Life. With His Wisdom and Understanding, He will lead each of us into His Truth. We encourage you to read Exodus and listen to it if you have an audible version. Ask the Lord Questions; trusting the Holy Spirit to give you insights and revelation as you read or hear it.

“So this day shall be to you a memorial; and you shall keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations. You shall keep it as a feast by an everlasting ordinance.” Exodus 12:14

An additional significant note for Messianic believers in Yeshua, is that the Constellation of Aries – the ram (lamb) is associated with the month of Nissan. It is also important for us focus on the characteristics of Redemption, Repentance and Beginning of Miracles that remind us to prepare our hearts to receive the sacrifice of the Lamb of God, prophesied and fulfilled in the Passover story.

How to Prepare for Passover by Beth Auman

Be FilledAs we prepare to enter into the month of Nissan 5781 and step toward Passover 5781 we must all evaluate our relationship with our Beloved. Jesus Loves you and He said plainly that if you eat His flesh and drink His blood then we will have eternal life and that He will raise us up at the end of time. John 6:54 (VOICE).

Are you partaking of the Lamb of God? Have you been redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb out of the hand of the enemy?

If not then please use this last week of the month of Adar 5781, the month that Adonai makes bitter things in your life sweet to examine your relationship with the Lamb of God who was slain for you. Commune with Him. Learn about Passover and why Passover is an everlasting feast. Jesus celebrated Passover and we will celebrate Passover eternally. It’s important to God. If it is important to Him then it should be important to us.

You are the reason and if you would have been the only one, Jesus would have lived, died and rose again. He Loves you with His Everlasting, Unchanging LOVE. No matter who you are or what you have done – you can ask for forgiveness and receive Him as your LORD and Savior today.

This is the season of Communion and Resurrection of the LORD Jesus Christ – Who was sent by Our Heavenly Father, lived a sinless life, was crucified, died and ROSE AGAIN FROM THE DEAD. So that we would have a choice in this earth. We can choose Jesus, have restored fellowship and communion with our Father in Heaven or to choose eternal death and hell. There is no other reason for celebration and the only way to celebrate is the way that He instructed us to in His Word – The Bible.

John 3:16 (VOICE) 16 For God expressed His love for the world in this way: He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not face everlasting destruction, but will have everlasting life.

Jesus name means Salvation, To Rescue, To Deliver.  Have you personally received Jesus Christ as your personal LORD and Savior?  Have you crowned Him LORD of your life and been filled with His Holy Spirit? Will you live eternally with Him in His Father’s Kingdom?

This is why He came and you have an opportunity to receive Him today.

Abba Father, I pray in Jesus name for the Salvation of All. Lord please send this out to the uttermost parts of the earth and I Bless each of you this Resurrection Season in Jesus name – choose to fulfill the destiny that Abba created  you for. Celebrate Jesus in the manner in which the Bible instructs us to.

Isaiah 60:1  (NASB)

A Glorified Zion

60 “Arise, shine; for your light has come,
And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.

Decree this with me: I have Passed Over -( been redeemed) from death unto life by the blood of Jesus Christ out of the hand of the enemy.

Light Be – Be Recalibrated and Be Light in this earth for the Glory of THE LORD. Amen

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of March 7, 2021

I will stand at my guard post. I will station myself on the wall. I will watch to see what He will say to me and what answer I will get to my complaint. Habakkuk 2:1 (GW)

Have you ever had to wait longingly for an important letter or phone call that would free you from the anxiety of something unknown or for hopes fulfilled? How agonizing the waiting process can be! It can demand all of our attention and hinder our ability to focus on anything else! What if we turned that same waiting expectation and anticipation toward hearing God’s voice? It is interesting that this scripture instructs us to watch and wait with the assurance that God will answer our questions and complaints. Or, as some others translations imply, that the Lords will respond with gentle reproving correction. We are encouraged to take our place like a disciplined soldier standing guard upon the fortress high place and to watch with confident expectation, knowing that our loving God will surely answer all our doubts, fears, questions and complaints. Lord, help us to wait on You. Give us eyes to see your ways and ears to hear your voice. Yes and amen.
