Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of June 26, 2022
By JoBeth Kested

Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Isaiah 40:28-29 (NLT)

Have you ever felt like your whole life, all your plans and all your dreams have come to an impossible dead end and you just don’t have the strength to get up or to try again? No matter how talented, strong or accomplished we may be, there always comes a time in each of our lives when we are faced with our human frailty and limitations. Simply stated these scriptures are declaring to each of us, “Hey, don’t you know; haven’t you figured it out that God is never inadequate, insufficient, or lacking in anything! And guess what? He is able to create endless alternatives or options and we don’t have to understand it all or figure everything out to find all the strength and support we will ever need in Him!” May you know God’s presence, strength and power that goes beyond your limitations today and everyday!

Declaration For Today In Jesus Name – Psalm 46

Each day I go before Adonai and ask Him what I can read to Him. I read and declare as He leads. Recently, He instructed me to share. My hope is that you will be strengthened to move forward by His anointed Word. I declare life into each of you. His Life, His Love, His Word be it unto you this very day in Yeshua (Jesus’) Name Amen

Psalm 46 For the leader. By the descendants of Korach. On ‘alamot [high-pitched musical instruments?]. A song:

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we are unafraid, even if the earth gives way, even if the mountains tumble into the depths of the sea, even if its waters rage and foam, and mountains shake at its turbulence. (Selah)

There is a river whose streams gladden the city of God, the holy habitation of ‘Elyon — God is in the city. It will not be moved — when daybreak comes, God will help it. Nations were in turmoil, kingdoms were moved; his voice thundered forth, and the earth melted away. Adonai-Tzva’ot is with us, our fortress, the God of Ya‘akov. (Selah)

Come and see the works of Adonai, the astounding deeds he has done on the earth. To the ends of the earth he makes wars cease — he breaks the bow, snaps the spear, burns the shields in the fire. “Desist, and learn that I am God, supreme over the nations, supreme over the earth.” Adonai-Tzva’ot is with us, our fortress, the God of Ya‘akov. (Selah)

We declare and decree God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
We will “Come and see the works of Adonai, the astounding deeds he has done on the earth. (Selah)”

We choose LIFE! You give LIFE! We speak LIFE, we yield and submit unto You. We will stand still and know that You alone are the One True Eternal YHWH, supreme over the nations, supreme over the earth, supreme over LIFE , rise up Adonai Tzva’ot and fight for us in Yeshua (Jesus) Name Amen

Note: Adonai-Tzva’ot in Hebrew means The LORD of Armies. Never forget HE fights for you.

Blessings and Shalom-Love Beyond Measure, Beth Auman
