Welcome ELUL 5782

Welcome ELUL 5782 – Enjoy the following exert from The Quest of the Overcomers by Beth Auman and JoBeth Kested (Book coming soon)..

As we embrace Abba’s Holy Calendar and step into His timing, celebrating His the moed time s.These moed times are covenant times that He meets with each of us. So many people want to separate the Bible into two distinct parts, Old Covenant and New Covenant without any thought that the entire Bible is a compass with multi levels of revelation. When we step into His timeline in covenant, He vav’s us unto Himself and we dive deeper into Him. He releases His prophetic instruction at Rosh Codesh (First Fruit) each month. Those who have ears to hear, we listen, we follow and we walk within the well lit path (timeline) that He has created for us.

Welcome ELUL and simply submit yourself unto the LORD in a new way. Tell Him that you want to meet Him in the field. Your life won’t ever be the same. Yeshua (Jesus) is right there (The King in the Field) and there is so much more to learn from and about Him and HIS Story.

Exert from The Quest of the Overcomers by Beth Auman and JoBeth Kested – There is an interesting Jewish phrase for this month that says, “The King is in the field.” For most of the year, the King dwelt in his palace, protected by high walls with guarded gates and only approachable with great difficulty through royal protocol. But, during one month of the year, the king would set up the royal tent in a field close to the people and all were welcomed to come. The proclamation was declared, “The King is in the field!” God is especially accessible and welcoming to us at this time. The King of Kings is close to us and bids us welcome! We can put aside all of our religious striving and spiritual pretenses. He draws near to our homes, our workplace and the everyday places where we are! He moves among his people and loves for us to approach him. This is a time where he lavishes his mercy, forgiveness and love upon us. “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine!”

The Constellation Virgo, the Virgin, is aligned with Elul and is traditionally linked with the scripture from Song of Solomon 6:3 “I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine!” In Hebrew, the first letter of each word spells out the name of this month, ELUL! This is a fortuitous time when God is beckoning us to come and seek Him for special times of intimacy with Him!

“He has brought me to his banqueting place, And his banner over me is love [waving overhead to protect and comfort me]. Sustain me with raisin cakes, Refresh me with apples, Because I am sick with love.” Song of Solomon 2:4-5 AMP

Elul is the month that the King is in the field for us to come close to Him. We have access to our beloved during this month that we do not have during other months. It is the month to see the promises and blessings of God manifest; a month to receive rewards! We would all love it if Adonai would just give us what we want when we ask. That is not His way. We just walked through the time of dire straits during the month of Av. But, this is not a time to fear. Like the sons of Issachar, we must understand the signs of the times and expect to see exactly what He is uncovering for us to see. This is a time to receive His rewards, moments of breakthrough and to move forward with Him as the Overcomers He is calling us to be. How will you connect with Him this month? Will you draw near to Him and rest your head on His shoulder and receive His love for you?

We must find our way to “vav” ourself to Adonai this month. Vav is the 6th letter in the Hebrew alphabet and is a connecting letter. It is a hook, a spear, a tent peg and connects things together. The letter Vav in Hebrew literally implies the connecting between heaven and earth. This month of Elul is a special time of connecting Heaven and Earth; our hearts with His heart.

“Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.”Song of Solomon 1:4 KJV

Elul is also referred to as “the eye of the needle” month. God is not asking us to change everything all at once this month, but what little thing can we surrender or what little place can we open in our hearts to Him that we may have been holding on to? The challenge is to yield even the smallest thing or establish the smallest place completely dedicated to Him and let Him prove Himself to us in a BIG way! He is calling to us to, “Open up the eye of the needle and I will open to you the grand storehouses of my goodness!”

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord. They are plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.“ Jeremiah 29:11 TLB

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of August 28, 2022
By JoBeth Kested

…Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. Philippians 3:13-14 (NLT)

Have you ever heard the saying, “Don’t let your yesterday’s determine your tomorrow’s”? Are you trying to run your race still carrying the baggage and burdens of your yesterdays? You may remember watching how hard it is for a child learning to walk to keep from stumbling and falling when they keep looking back instead of focusing their eyes ahead. This scripture reminds us that in order to successfully run our race we need to stop looking back at the mistakes, problems, and even accomplishments or the joys of our yesterdays so we can reach for the blessings of today and the hope for our tomorrows. Therefore, in the Lord’s enabling grace, let go of anything in the past that would keep you from reaching for the future and the heavenly prize that is yours in Jesus.

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of August 21, 2022
By JoBeth Kested

Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. Isaiah 46:9 (NIV)

Have you heard the saying,”You can’t know where you are going unless you know where you came from”? When we remember the stories of those before us that overcame great trials, handicaps, poverty, and wars we are encouraged that we can also overcome the trials before us. Likewise, God instructs us in this scripture to remember the former things. In the midst of our current needs and busyness, have we forgotten the answered prayers and miracles we’ve experienced or learned in the past that will inspire our faith to trust God today? Twice God declares that He alone is God and there is none like Him! Let us remember there is no other God whose very nature is love, extends mercy, offers peace, forgives sin, heals diseases, saves the lost, wipes away all our tears and knows the number of hairs on our heads! Yet, He is the King of Kings, Lord of Lords and commander of the Heavenly Host—Angel Armies of Heaven. There is no other God like our God! Amen!

By JoBeth Kested

“The breaker goes up before them; they break out, pass through the gate and go out by it. So their king goes on before them, and the Lord at their head.” Micah 2:13 (NASV)

Is there a situation in your life where you are desperately in need of a breakthrough? There are several things the Lord reveals to us about Himself in this scripture. He is the Lord of the Breakthrough! He leads and goes before us. He stands between us and our enemies in times of trouble. He is The Almighty God that can break open hindering, restricting gates of captivity. And He is the Lord of the Hosts of Heavenly armies and is able to breakthrough any of our enemies plans against us! He is able to make the crooked places straight and make the rough places smooth on our behalf. The Lord God of all Heaven and Earth is our protector, defender and provider King and He desires for us to know Him as our God Who breaks through! Ask God to reveal Himself as the Lord of the Breakthrough from any and all hindering circumstances in your life today!

Psalm 34 CJB (0) By David, when he pretended to be insane before Avimelekh, who then drove him away; so he left:

(1) I will bless Adonai at all times;
his praise will always be in my mouth.
(2) When I boast, it will be about Adonai;
the humble will hear of it and be glad.

(3) Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai;
let us exalt his name together.
(4) I sought Adonai, and he answered me;
he rescued me from everything I feared.

(5) They looked to him and grew radiant;
their faces will never blush for shame.
(6) This poor man cried; Adonaiheard
and saved him from all his troubles.
(7) The angel of Adonai, who encamps
around those who fear him, delivers them.

(8) Taste, and see that Adonai is good.
How blessed are those who take refuge in him!
10 (9) Fear Adonai, you holy ones of his,
for those who fear him lack nothing.
11 (10) Young lions can be needy, they can go hungry,
but those who seek Adonai lack nothing good.

12 (11) Come, children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of Adonai.
13 (12) Which of you takes pleasure in living?
Who wants a long life to see good things?
14 (13) [If you do,] keep your tongue from evil
and your lips from deceiving talk;
15 (14) turn from evil, and do good;
seek peace, go after it!

16 (15) The eyes of Adonai watch over the righteous,
and his ears are open to their cry.
17 (16) But the face of Adonai opposes those who do evil,
to cut off all memory of them from the earth.

18 (17) [The righteous] cried out, and Adonai heard,
and he saved them from all their troubles.
19 (18) Adonai is near those with broken hearts;
he saves those whose spirit is crushed.
20 (19) The righteous person suffers many evils,
but Adonai rescues him out of them all.
21 (20) He protects all his bones;
not one of them gets broken.

22 (21) Evil will kill the wicked,
and those who hate the righteous will be condemned.
23 (22) But Adonai redeems his servants;
no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.

We Declare and Decree Psalm 34 Loudly! We set our will to Praise ADONAI at all times, continually! To boast about Him and all that He does and will do! We proclaim His greatness and exhale His name together!

As we seek ADONAI, He hears us and rescues us from all that we fear! We will be His radiant ones whose faces never blush with shame! ADONAI’s angels encamp around us because we fear only ADONAI! We fear only ADONAI and lack nothing! Thank You ADONAI! We fear You alone and give You all praise, honor and glory!

Psalm 34 is our daily Decree in Yeshua (Jesus) Name! Amen

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of August 7, 2022
By JoBeth Kested

Because you love me, I will rescue you. I will protect you because you know my name. When you call to me, I will answer you. I will be with you when you are in trouble. I will save you and honor you. Psalm 91:14-15 (GW)

Isn’t it a wonderful feeling when you know you are loved? In loving relationships there is nothing we wouldn’t do for each other, especially when we receive a call for help. We will take food or clean a friends house in sickness, travel long distances to be with a hurting loved one and for some we are even willing to lay down our life in the face of danger. In these verses God declares how He responds to our love for Him. The Lord says that He will…rescue, protect, answer, be there, save and honor us. What an encouragement to know that the Almighty God desires our expressions of love for Him even in our weakness and imperfections. When we call out for God’s help in times of trouble and despair He lovingly responds back to us and makes these promises to meet our specific needs just because He knows we love Him! Thank You, Lord!

We are in a 10 year Hebraic Season of Peh. The Letter Peh

Peh’s numerical value in Hebrew is 80. The meaning of the letter Peh is mouth. Words associated with the Hebrew letter Peh are word, expression, vocalization, declaration, decree.

We are in a 10 year decade of Peh. – 5782. Therefore, the words that we choose to come out of our mouths are vital.We must choose Abba’s Word and be wise. Declare, decree, vocalize and express His Word.

Today, we will declare:

Psalm 119:Peh Your instruction is a wonder;this is why I follow it.

Your words are a doorway that lets in light,giving understanding to the thoughtless.

My mouth is wide open, as I pantwith longing for your .

Turn to me, and show me your favor;in keeping with [your] judgment for those who love your name.

Guide my footsteps by your word;don’t let any kind of sin rule me.

Redeem me from human oppression,and I will observe your precepts.

Make your face shine on your servant,and teach me your laws.

Rivers of tears flow down from my eyes,because they don’t observe your .

Adonai, Your words are a doorway that lets in light,giving understanding to the thoughtless. We declare Your Words in Yeshua (Jesus) Name. We desire to walk in Your Light and through Your Door in wisdom and understanding. Amen

Psalm 112 CJB

112 Halleluyah!

How happy is anyone who fears Adonai,
who greatly delights in his mitzvot.
2 His descendants will be powerful on earth,
a blessed generation of upright people.
3 Wealth and riches are in his house,
and his righteousness stands forever.

4 To the upright he shines like a light in the dark,
merciful, compassionate and righteous.
5 Things go well with the person who is merciful and lends,
who conducts his affairs with fairness;
6 for he will never be moved.
The righteous will be remembered forever.

7 He will not be frightened by bad news;
he remains steady, trusting in Adonai.
8 His heart is set firm, he will not be afraid,
till finally he looks in triumph at his enemies.
9 He distributes freely, he gives to the poor;
his righteousness stands forever.

His power will be increased honorably.
10 The wicked will be angry when they see this;
they will gnash their teeth and waste away,
the desires of the wicked will come to nothing.

I’m Raising my Halleluyah! today and Declaring Psalm 112 in Yeshua (Jesus) Name! Amen! Amen and again I say Amen!
