Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of November 29, 2015

JoBeth79Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NASB)

Have you ever wondered how to find God’s will? What if the three things listed in this verse were the keys to releasing and experiencing God’s will for you? In the many tests, trials and difficult situations we face each day, what if we would choose to rejoice in the Lords’s overcoming power instead of worrying? What if we would then choose to pray in faith instead of yielding to fear? And, what if we would choose to give thanks for the opportunity to see God demonstrate His abundant provision for us instead of grumbling and complaining? In Matthew 19:26 Jesus said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” By His grace, choose to rejoice, pray and give thanks in everything today to set your feet on the path of God’s will concerning you. Thank You, Lord.

Let’s All Agree on This – By Beth Auman

Love on DisplayThis is the cry of my heart to the LORD. I’m asking the LORD to put His marvelous LOVE on display for all to see. Liberate all those who are longing for shelter.  Place us beside Himself, safely away from our enemies and ever welcome us by His Grace.

There are so many things going on in this world right now and if you will just take one moment to ask the Lord to put His marvelous LOVE on display for all to see.  Wow, can you even imagine it?  Everyone in the entire world seeing His marvelous LOVE on display at the same time?

The Word of God says in Matthew 18:19 (KJV) 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

In other words – If we all stop for one moment and ask the Lord Psalm 17:7 at one time – He will do it. We will all see His Marvelous LOVE on display at the same time. He will liberate those who long for shelter, set them beside Himself away from their enemies and we will be ever welcomed by Grace.

Come on Let’s do it.  Abba we come before You – right now, two or thee, or four, five or six, however many that there are on this web that will agree LORD – we agree and thus ask YOU in Jesus name:  Put Your marvelous love on display for all to seeLiberator of those who long for shelter beside You, set them safely away from their enemies, ever welcomed by grace.

We cry out to You today and trust You in JESUS Name.

Amen and Amen

Love each and everyone of you Beyond Measure.

Beth.

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of January 25, 2015

JoBeth30 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” Luke 11:9-10 (NIV)

If God supposedly knows everything and has a plan, why should we bother with prayer and asking for His help? Do you have childhood memories of playing hide-and-seek and how much fun it is to surprise someone in their hiding place? And how special it is to knock upon a friends door to have it opened then to receive their welcoming hugs and kisses? These verses reveal God’s heart in that He longs for us to seek Him and to find how much He loves us. How awesome that God loves to reveal Himself to us and to surprise us with signs and wonders in answering our prayers. Be encouraged to keep on asking to receive, seeking to find and knocking for the open doors of God’s blessings and abundant provision for you today.
