Ordained Boundary by Beth Auman

Acts 17:26-28 (TLV) [a] 26 From one He made every nation of men to live on the face of the earth, having set appointed times and the boundaries of their territory. [b] 27 They were to search for Him, and perhaps grope around for Him and find Him. Yet He is not far from each one of us, [c] 28 for ‘In Him we live and move and have our being.’

Many times I find myself making the statement to people that I meet that there are things that I no longer do. I will not participate in. Please understand that if we walk together – I will not do this or that because Abba set a boundary for my life and I choose to live His way.

I am saying this to you today so that you will understand Acts 17:26. God’s plan was for Jesus to be the sacrifice so that we would step into and be ordained to do that which He planned from the beginning. He has set our appointed times and the boundaries of our territory. He has virtually set the boundary for the time that we live in, the place that we live and His hedge of protection around us depends on our yielding our will back to Him and staying inside His hedge of protection. If we venture out and get taken out – that’s our fault. He has ordained each of us to take our place and not deviate from His plan. Which means remaining within the boundaries of our territory. The habitation set by Him. Stay within our own lane – within our hedge of His protection.

We are to search for Him to grope for Him and find Him, ‘28 for ‘In Him we live and move and have our being.’

If your life is not filled with His promises, perhaps you are violating His boundaries. See, being ordained is part of being His. There comes a time within our Christian experience where our focus is less on ourselves and what He can do for us to Him, we have to change our mindset to what is important to HIM. How we can Worship Him with our actions, with the very life that He has given us. Make our lives a Living Epistle of Worship unto HIM.

It is important to Him for each of us to realize that He has appointed our times and boundaries of our territory. We all have a delegated rule of authority. That means being and doing what He says, praying, decreeing, declaring over and for those whom He brings our way, focusing on Him and what He loves. Moving when He says move, praying when He says pray, declaring when He leads us to declare and what He leads us to declare. Not moving when He tells us to be still. Worshiping when He tells us to worship in the way that He leads us to worship Him. Because that is what is important to Him.

Taking our eyes off of other’s boundaries and focusing on the boundary that He has set for us. You cannot fulfill another’s destiny, nor can they fulfill yours. Abba has ordained you for a very  specific purpose. Stay in your lane, within your boundary and He will provide all that you need and fulfill all of His promises.

If you are not receiving the answer to your prayer, if you are lost, worried, depressed or finding it difficult to worship the Lord or difficult to trust Him with the issue of your life. Having difficulty hearing the Truth. Please, ask Him to show you the boundary that He has set for you and ask Him how to operate within the boundary that He has set for your life.

In doing this, I will not step outside His boundary. There are truly things in my life that I will Never do again. Never participate in again. Not that I’m better than anyone else. My focus is on the Lord and He has ordained me to be and do something that is important to Him. That’s enough for me. I have yielded myself to Him. I have set myself in agreement with His Word (my boundary) and I will not violate it.

God has a plan for your life too and you must yield yourself to the boundary that Abba has set for you to operate within. Ask Him. He will lead you and guide you into all truth.

Salvation is our choice. We must choose to crown Jesus Christ as the LORD of our life. Salvation is wonderful. However, it is only the beginning of the path. He created us for so much more. We are to reach back into the fire and pull others out. He created each of us with purpose. He has something for you to do. Find out what that is and make Him your focus. Stay within the boundary that He created for you and as you are faithful to do that – then pray the prayer of Jabez and ask Him to enlarge your boarders.

1 Chronicles 4:9-10 (NKJV) Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez,[a] saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” 10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.

Jabez, stayed in his boundary and it was said of him that he was more honorable than his brothers. He fulfilled his destiny to the point that he called on the God of Israel to bless him and enlarge his territory. He is a brilliant picture of an overcommers testimony.

God granted him what he requested.

Lord, my prayer for each person that reads this is that You will hear their prayers, reveal the boundaries that You have set for them and that they will move forward. Keep moving forward and be closer to You. Make what is important to You, important to them and walk in the VICTORY of Jesus our LORD. In His name Amen
