Scripture for the week of April 11, 2021

Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13 (NKJV)

Is your hope running low with the heaviness of discouragement and the frustration of too many disappointments? Especially when someone we trusted fails our trust we may feel trapped in the quicksand of hopelessness, fear and grief. What an encouragement to be reminded in this verse that we have a God Who is hope! No matter what pit of sorrow and pain we may find ourselves in, He reaches out to offer us His peace that passes understanding, with indescribable joy, to renew our hope in an abundance that is more than enough! We can trust in our Father God for a renewing hope with faith in the power of the Holy Spirit that moves mountains in our defense and opens miraculous doors of provision on our behalf. Come Holy Spirit with the uplifting hope, joy and peace that we need today. Amen!
