Scripture for the week of July 20, 2014

God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8 (NKJV)

Have you ever felt like you are running a race without the strength to finish it and no end in sight? There are some very powerful declarations of God’s provision for us in this scripture. 1) God is able. There is nothing that our God cannot do. 2) To make. As the Creator, He is able to bring anything into existence that is needed on our behalf. 3) All grace. Not just some or a little, but ALL grace which is His goodness and favor even when we don’t deserve it. 4) Always all sufficiency means more than enough all the time. 5) In all things means in EVERY situation. 6) And, God promises abundant, overflowing provision as we choose to do His goodness in everything we face as we walk with Him each and every day. Wow, what an awesome God!
