Shabbat Shalom

Shabbat Shalom -1/21/22

Shevat 19, 5782

Celebrating Shabbat is a choice. Just as receiving Yeshua (Jesus) as LORD is a choice. Being obedient to anything that Adonai our Elohim commands and ordains is our choice. He is not going to force us to receive Yeshua (Jesus) or Shabbat with Him. That is not His way. He simply turns His face to the ones who choose Him. Those are the ones on which He bestows His Favor and Blessing.

Personally, I want to rest in Him. My soul longs for Him and honoring Him in this way is the best way that I have to show Him how I long for Him. Shabbat is about enjoying the things that He created within us to love. What did He create within you that you love to do? Honor Him by doing that, as long as it is not what you make your daily living doing, remember no ordinary work.

Here are a few suggestions to help you enter into Shabbat:

Separate yourself unto Him.

Exodus 20:11 For in six days, Adonai made heaven and earth, the sea and everything in them; but on the seventh day he rested. This is why Adonai blessed the day, Shabbat, and separated it for himself.

Shabbat is a sign between you and Adonai your Elohim (God) that you are set apart for Him and you are to teach your generations how to Shabbat.

Exodus 31:13“Tell the people of Isra’el, ‘You are to observe my Shabbats; for this is a sign between me and you through all your generations; so that you will know that I am Adonai, who sets you apart for me.

Plan out your day to include dining or leftovers.

Exodus 16:23 He told them, “This is what Adonai has said: ‘Tomorrow is a holy Shabbat for Adonai. Bake what you want to bake; boil what you want to boil; and whatever is left over, set aside and keep for the morning.’”

Honor – don’t gather

Exodus 16:26 Gather it six days, but the seventh day is the Shabbat on that day there won’t be any.”

Shabbat was made for you and Yeshua (Jesus) is the Lord of Shabbat.

Mark 2:27 Then he said to them, “Shabbat was made for mankind, not mankind for Shabbat;

Mark 2:28 So the Son of Man is Lord even of Shabbat.”

Remember that Shabbat is for you. Sunday’s Church is in fact a First Fruit offering., Celebrating Shabbat as instructed by Adonai prepares the way for His Celebration on First Fruit Sunday, because Sunday is the First day of His week. Order is important to the Lord and learning about His order and way of doing things helps us walk circumspectly with Him.

Be Free in your Shabbat. Draw near unto ADONAI. Sing to Him, Worship Him and Rest in Him.

Blessings and Shabbat Shalom,

Love Beyond Measure.
