Scripture for the week of October 29, 2023 By JoBeth Kested
Praise the Lord, all you nations. Praise him, all you people of the earth. For he loves us with unfailing love; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever. Praise the Lord! Psalm 117:1-2 (NLT)
Everyone at one time or another suffers the wounds of failed relationships whether it is family, a spouse, best friend or a boss. The hurt, grief, betrayal, injustice and anger can be extremely difficult to deal with or overcome. We can spin our mental and emotional wheels endlessly asking the questions “Why me?”, “How did this happen?”, and “What if…?” yet never finding the answers to soothe our hurting souls. This scripture reminds us that God’s love for ALL nations and ALL people never ends and never fails. No matter our color or culture we will always find His arms open to receive and restore us in His love that will never end! No matter our faults or failures our circumstances or sorrows the promise and healing hope of the Lord’s steadfast unfailing love knows no barriers nor boundaries. Let us ALL lift our voice in gratitude for God’s endless unfailing love and Praise The Lord!
I hope that Adonai has found you on the wall interceding, declaring, decreeing over Israel. Remember His Word. Be found by Him in covenant with Him for Adonai relates intimately with those who fear Him. Those in whom His Ruach HaKodesh dwell in. His Holy Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and power, the Spirit of knowledge and fearing Adonai.
Fearing Adonai is our boundary. If you have gone through the new door then you are within His boundary and must be on the wall praying for, interceding for, standing for and defending the apple of His eye! His chosen land and people. We are One (Echad) in Yeshua Messiah.
Isaiah 11:2 CJB
2 The Spirit of Adonai will rest on him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and power, the Spirit of knowledge and fearing Adonai —
Psalm 25 CJB
25 (0) By David:
4 Make me know your ways, Adonai, teach me your paths. 5 Guide me in your truth, and teach me; for you are the God who saves me, my hope is in you all day long. 6 Remember your compassion and grace, Adonai; for these are ages old. 7 Don’t remember my youthful sins or transgressions; but remember me according to your grace for the sake of your goodness, Adonai.
(1) I lift my inner being to you, Adonai; 2 I trust you, my God. Don’t let me be disgraced, don’t let my enemies gloat over me. 3 No one waiting for you will be disgraced; disgrace awaits those who break faith for no reason.
8 Adonai is good, and he is fair; this is why he teaches sinners the way [to live], 9 leads the humble to do what is right and teaches the humble [to live] his way. 10 All Adonai’s paths are grace and truth to those who keep his covenant and instructions. 11 For the sake of your name, Adonai, forgive my wickedness, great though it is.
12 Who is the person who fears Adonai? He will teach him the way to choose. 13 He will remain prosperous, and his descendants will inherit the land. 14 Adonai relates intimately with those who fear him; he makes them know his covenant.
15 My eyes are always directed toward Adonai, for he will free my feet from the net. 16 Turn to me, and show me your favor; for I am alone and oppressed. 17 The troubles of my heart are growing and growing; bring me out of my distress. 18 See my affliction and suffering, and take all my sins away.
19 Consider my enemies, how many there are and how cruelly they hate me. 20 Protect me and rescue me; don’t let me be disgraced, for I take refuge in you. 21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, because my hope is in you.
22 God! Redeem Isra’el from all their troubles!
Ephesians 2:14-16 CJB
14 For he himself is our shalom — he has made us both one and has broken down the m’chitzah which divided us 15 by destroying in his own body the enmity occasioned by the Torah, with its commands set forth in the form of ordinances. He did this in order to create in union with himself from the two groups a single new humanity and thus make shalom, 16 and in order to reconcile to God both in a single body by being executed on a stake as a criminal and thus in himself killing that enmity.
Abba, we come before You today as One (echad), standing in faith for our brothers and sisters. There is no dividing wall of division. Only the wall of prayer snd intercession that we all stand on today. The chief cornerstone Yeshua, Jesus our Messiah. Open our eyes, show each of us how to align and what to declare, decree, intercede. We submit ourselves unto You Adonai in unity. We resist the devil and he must flee. We declare Davar Shalom! We bind chaos! We take authority over chaos and together read out loud Psalm 25 and in unity we apply Yeshua’s blood over every covenant family and seal our prayer in Yeshua’s Name. Amen

Scripture for the week of September 10, 2023 By JoBeth Kested
Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. Isaiah 60:1-2 NKJV
Is there anything more beautiful than the dawning rays of sunlight breaking into a new day over majestic mountains, upon rolling ocean waves or watching from the serenity of your own back porch? But, what does the glory of the Lord rising upon us mean? The glory of the Lord in this scripture seems to mean the promise of His loving presence that drives away loneliness, the comfort of His peace that passes understanding, blessings of mercy that triumph over judgement, and the goodness of His enabling grace bestowed upon us. There are times we all need the restoring hope of light to drive out the darkness of fearful times and the unexpected circumstances afflicting our souls. What an encouraging gift we have in the promise of these scriptures that even in the darkest times our loving God promises the arising light upon us with His glorious presence, comfort and sufficient grace for each day. Thank You, Lord!

Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. Isaiah 46:9 (NIV)
Have you heard the saying,”You can’t know where you are going unless you know where you came from?” God instructs us in this scripture of the importance to remember the former things; twice declaring that He alone is God and there is none like Him! It is helpful to recall the stories of faith from those that have gone before us, overcoming great trials, handicaps, poverty and wars. In the midst of our current needs and busyness, have we forgotten the answered prayers and miracles we’ve experienced or learned about in the past that can inspire our faith to trust God for our needs today? Let us remember there is no other God whose very nature is love, extends mercy, offers peace, forgives sin, heals diseases, saves the lost, wipes away all our tears and knows the number of hairs on our heads! He is the King of kings, Lord of lords, Commander of the Angel Armies and yet, is also our loving Heavenly Father. There is no other God like our God! Amen!

I lift my eyes toward the mountains. Where will my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Psalm 121:1-2 (HCSB)
Have you ever been awed and captivated by the majestic beauty of the mountains? Some of us welcome the challenges of hiking and climbing mountains for the thrill of enjoying the breathtaking scenic beauty, the fresh smell of pine trees, and the enrapturing views from lofty peaks. But, sometimes we may face the treacherous slopes of life’s daunting dilemmas and mountains of difficulties that can seem impossible to climb. We need to be reminded that no matter how insurmountable our problems may be, the Lord is with us, He hears our cries and is able to lift us up higher than we ever thought we could climb on our own. Trust the Lord today to see your mountain of impossibilities as a mountain of opportunity to be overcome in the power of His might. Look up and hold out your hand to The Lord God Almighty, Who is already reaching out to you! Praise the Lord!
A man’s steps are established by the Lord, and He takes pleasure in his way. Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed, because the Lord holds his hand. Psalm 37:23-24 (HCSB)
Have you ever enjoyed the craziness of a scavenger hunt where you are dependent upon finding the clues to guide where you need to go next? Sometimes, we can feel stuck in our life without a map or plan to follow and no clue of how to proceed. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we can find ourselves feeling helpless, like stumbling along in the dark with a fear of failing and falling. How encouraging it is to learn in these scriptures that we can trust that the Lord takes pleasure in establishing our steps and showing us the way we need to go. He promises that even if we stumble along the way, He is holding our hand to strengthen and protect us from the overwhelming fear of falling. Lord, establish our steps, please hold our hand and protect us as we follow you out of the dark and confusing times of our lives. Amen.
46 (0) For the leader. By the descendants of Korach. On ‘alamot [high-pitched musical instruments?]. A song:
2 (1) God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. 3 (2) Therefore we are unafraid, even if the earth gives way, even if the mountains tumble into the depths of the sea, 4 (3) even if its waters rage and foam, and mountains shake at its turbulence. (Selah)
5 (4) There is a river whose streams gladden the city of God, the holy habitation of ‘Elyon — 6 (5) God is in the city. It will not be moved — when daybreak comes, God will help it. 7 (6) Nations were in turmoil, kingdoms were moved; his voice thundered forth, and the earth melted away.
8 (7) Adonai-Tzva’ot is with us, our fortress, the God of Ya‘akov. (Selah) 9 (8) Come and see the works of Adonai, the astounding deeds he has done on the earth. 10 (9) To the ends of the earth he makes wars cease — he breaks the bow, snaps the spear, burns the shields in the fire. 11 (10) “Desist, and learn that I am God, supreme over the nations, supreme over the earth.”
12 (11) Adonai-Tzva’ot is with us, our fortress, the God of Ya‘akov. (Selah)
Abba, we come before Your throne today in Yeshua’s Name and declare and decree Psalm 46. You are with us, You are our fortress!! Be who You are! We will not limit You by our human thinking! We need you to be who You are in Your fullness!!Amen

Each day I go before Adonai and ask Him what I can read to Him. I read and declare as He leads. Recently, He instructed me to share. My hope is that you will be strengthened to move forward by His anointed Word. I declare life into each of you. His Life, His Love, His Word be it unto you this very day in Yeshua (Jesus’) Name Amen
Psalm 32 By David. A maskil: How blessed are those whose offense is forgiven, those whose sin is covered! How blessed those to whom Adonai imputes no guilt, in whose spirit is no deceit! When I kept silent, my bones wasted away because of my groaning all day long; day and night your hand was heavy on me; the sap in me dried up as in a summer drought. (Selah) When I acknowledged my sin to you, when I stopped concealing my guilt, and said, “I will confess my offenses to Adonai ”; then you, you forgave the guilt of my sin. (Selah) This is what everyone faithful should pray at a time when you can be found. Then, when the floodwaters are raging, they will not reach to him. You are a hiding-place for me, you will keep me from distress; you will surround me with songs of deliverance. (Selah) “I will instruct and teach you in this way that you are to go; I will give you counsel; my eyes will be watching you.” Don’t be like a horse or mule that has no understanding, that has to be curbed with bit and bridle, or else it won’t come near you. Many are the torments of the wicked, but grace surrounds those who trust in Adonai. Be glad in Adonai; rejoice, you righteous! Shout for joy, all you upright in heart!
I declare Psalm 32 over myself and everyone in my delegated rule of authority in Yeshua (Jesus’) Name Amen

Psalm 99 Adonai is king; let the peoples tremble. He sits enthroned on the k’ruvim; let the earth shake! Adonai is great in Tziyon; he is high above all the peoples. Let them praise your great and fearsome name (he is holy): “Mighty king who loves justice, you established fairness, justice and righteousness in Ya‘akov.” Exalt Adonai our God! Prostrate yourselves at his footstool (he is holy). Moshe and Aharon among his cohanim and Sh’mu’el among those who call on his name called on Adonai, and he answered them. He spoke to them in the column of cloud; they kept his instructions and the law that he gave them. Adonai our God, you answered them. To them you were a forgiving God, although you took vengeance on their wrongdoings. Exalt Adonai our God, bow down toward his holy mountain, for Adonai our God is holy!

Psalm 36:1-13 CJB For the leader. By David, the servant of Adonai: Crime speaks to the wicked. I perceive this in my heart; before his eyes there is no fear of God. For, the way he sees it, crime makes his life easy — that is, until his wrongs are discovered; then, he is hated. His words are wrong and deceitful; he has stopped being wise and doing good. He devises trouble as he lies in bed; so set is he on his own bad way that he doesn’t hate evil. Adonai, in the heavens is your grace; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God, your judgments are like the great deep. You save man and beast, Adonai. How precious, God, is your grace! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings, they feast on the rich bounty of your house, and you have them drink from the stream of your delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. Continue your grace to those who know you and your righteousness to the upright in heart. Don’t let the foot of the proud tread on me or the hands of the wicked drive me away. There they lie fallen, those evildoers, flung down and unable to rise.
