Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of July 31, 2022
By JoBeth Kested

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. Matthew 6:19-21 (KJV)

On the road of life, in pursuit of love, happiness and success, have you experienced some detours or crashes along the way? Friends betray us, jobs can suddenly come to an end, wealth can be lost, and family can cause the deepest of wounds. This scripture challenges us to ask, “How do I lay up my treasure in heaven where there is no corruption or loss?” Micah 6:8 tells us, “And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?” We also read in John 16:33 “In this life you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer I (Jesus) have overcome the world.” So place your heart and hope in Jesus, Who helps us persevere and overcome the troubles of this world. Treasure His sacrificial endless love; choose to live honorably with compassion and merciful kindness to others in humble dependence upon His underserved sufficient grace for each and every day. You will discover the blessings of God’s favor, experience His peace that passes understanding and lay up treasures in heaven!

Declaration For Today In Jesus Name

Each day I go before Adonai and ask Him what I can read to Him. I read and declare as He leads. Recently, He instructed me to share. My hope is that you will be strengthened to move forward by His anointed Word. I declare life into each of you. His Life, His Love, His Word be it unto you this very day in Yeshua (Jesus’) Name Amen

Psalm 23 CJB A psalm of David: Adonai is my shepherd; I lack nothing. He has me lie down in grassy pastures, he leads me by quiet water, he restores my inner person. He guides me in right paths for the sake of his own name. Even if I pass through death-dark ravines, I will fear no disaster; for you are with me; your rod and staff reassure me. You prepare a table for me, even as my enemies watch; you anoint my head with oil from an overflowing cup. Goodness and grace will pursue me every day of my life; and I will live in the house of Adonai for years and years to come.

We Declare Psalm 23 over our lives on this First Fruits day of AV 5782 in Yeshua (Jesus) Name!

Abba, Your: Goodness and grace will pursue me every day of my life; and I will live in the house of Adonai for years and years to come.

No fear here and we will build no golden calf because we find ourselves waiting on Him in His green pastures as He restores us! We are waiting on You, We choose Your way! Amen and Amen

Declaration For Today In Jesus Name – Psalm 105

Each day I go before Adonai and ask Him what I can read to Him. I read and declare as He leads. Recently, He instructed me to share. My hope is that you will be strengthened to move forward by His anointed Word. I declare life into each of you. His Life, His Love, His Word be it unto you this very day in Yeshua (Jesus’) Name Amen

Psalm 105 TLV

Praise Adonai, call upon His Name. Make known His deeds among the peoples. Sing to Him, sing praises to Him— tell about all His wonders! Glory in His holy Name. Let the heart of those who seek Adonai rejoice. Seek Adonai and His strength, seek His face always. Remember His wonders that He has done, His miracles and the judgments of His mouth, O seed of Abraham, His servant, O children of Jacob, His chosen ones. He is Adonai our God. His judgments are in all the earth. He remembers His covenant forever— the word He commanded for a thousand generations— which He made with Abraham, and swore to Isaac, and confirmed to Jacob as a decree, to Israel as an everlasting covenant, saying, “To you I give the land of Canaan, the portion of your inheritance.” When they were but few in number, few indeed, and foreigners in it, wandering from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another people, He allowed no one to oppress them— for their sake He rebuked kings: “Touch not My anointed ones, and do My prophets no harm.” He called down a famine on the land. He broke the whole supply of bread. He sent a man before them— Joseph, sold as a slave. They hurt His feet with shackles, he was put in irons— till the time that his word came true— the word of Adonai proved him true! The king sent and released him. The ruler of the peoples set him free. He made him lord of his house, ruler over all his possessions, to discipline his princes at his will, and teach his elders wisdom. Then Israel came into Egypt, Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham. He made His people very fruitful, and made them more numerous than their foes. He turned their hearts to hate His people, to deal shrewdly with His servants. He sent Moses His servant, and Aaron, whom He had chosen. They performed His signs among them —miracles in the land of Ham. He sent darkness, and it was dark, so they did not rebel against His words. He turned their waters into blood, causing their fish to die. Their land swarmed with frogs, even in their royal chambers. He spoke, and a swarm of gnats came within all their borders. He gave them a rain of hail, flames of fire throughout their land. He struck their vines and their fig trees and shattered the trees of their country. He spoke, and the locust came —young locusts without number— to eat up every green thing in their land and eat up the fruit of their ground. Then He struck all the firstborn in their land, the firstfruits of all their vigor. Then He brought them out with silver and gold, and no one among His tribes faltered. Egypt was glad when they left— for dread of them had fallen on them. He spread a cloud as a covering and fire to give light at night. They asked, and He brought quail, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven. He opened a rock, and waters gushed out, flowed as a river in dry places. For He remembered His holy word to Abraham His servant. So He brought forth His people with joy, His chosen ones with singing. He gave them the lands of the nations, so they inherited the labor of the peoples so that they might keep His statutes and observe His laws. Halleluyah!

We Praise You and Declare and Decree Your Word today in Psalm 105. We set our will to Praise You! Trust You! We mix Your Word with our faith So that we will stand in faith and make Your deeds known to people! To tell of Your wonders in this earth! All the days of our lives.

We declare and decree: He is Adonai our God. His judgments are in all the earth. He remembers His covenant forever— the word He commanded for a thousand generations. In Yeshua ( Jesus) Name and by His shed blood! Amen

Declaration For Today In Jesus Name – Psalm 83

Each day I go before Adonai and ask Him what I can read to Him. I read and declare as He leads. Recently, He instructed me to share. My hope is that you will be strengthened to move forward by His anointed Word. I declare life into each of you. His Life, His Love, His Word be it unto you this very day in Yeshua (Jesus’) Name Amen

Psalm 83 CJB God, don’t remain silent! Don’t stay quiet, God, or still; because here are your enemies, causing an uproar; those who hate you are raising their heads, craftily conspiring against your people, consulting together against those you treasure. They say, “Come, let’s wipe them out as a nation; let the name of Isra’el be remembered no more!” With one mind they plot their schemes; the covenant they have made is against you — the tents of Edom and the Yishma‘elim, Mo’av and the Hagrim, G’val, ‘Amon and ‘Amalek, P’leshet with those living in Tzor; (Selah) Ashur too is allied with them, to reinforce the descendants of Lot. Do to them as you did to Midyan, to Sisra and Yavin at Vadi Kishon — they were destroyed at ‘Ein-Dor and became manure for the ground. Make their leaders like ‘Orev and Ze’ev, all their princes like Zevach and Tzalmuna, who said, “Let’s take possession of God’s meadows for ourselves.” My God, make them like whirling dust, like chaff driven by the wind. Like fire burning up the forest, like a flame that sets the mountains ablaze, drive them away with your storm, terrify them with your tempest. Fill their faces with shame, so that they will seek your name, Adonai. Let them be ashamed and fearful forever; yes, let them perish in disgrace. Let them know that you alone, whose name is Adonai, are the Most High over all the earth.
Psalm 83 CJB

Adonai, we declare and decree Psalm 83 today over the Nations of the earth that You have created. Fill their faces with shame, so that they will seek your name, Adonai. Let them know that you alone, whose name is Adonai, are Most High over all the earth in Yeshua (Jesus) Name

We apply Yeshua (Jesus’) blood over every single circumstance and situation. You know those who are Your enemies Adonai. Please do not stay silent or quiet. We Trust You alone. Amen

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture of the week for July 24, 2022
By JoBeth Kested

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103:11-12 (NIV)

Have you ever heard someone say, “I love you to the moon and back” in trying to express the greatness of their love? God declares the magnitude of His love for us in this scripture as there is no end to the height of the heavens above the earth. You may ask what does it mean to fear the Lord? Simply, it means great reverence and awe for the Almighty-Creator-Ruler God of the universe and to acknowledge He is Lord over us individually as well. When we choose to fear the Lord, His lovingkindness removes the consequences of our failure to meet His standards of holiness and perfection as far from us as the east is from the west! How wonderful that is to understand that east and west never ever meet! May we choose the fear of the Lord and experience God’s extravagant love for us that is over the rainbow, beyond the moon and to the height of the heavens!

Scripture for the week of July 17, 2022
By JoBeth Kested

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. Psalm 34:8,10 (NKJV)

Have you ever longed for the taste of something like the first sip of coffee in the morning, your favorite piece of pie or maybe the best decadent chocolate as it melts in your mouth? There is nothing quite like that first taste that is so satisfying, that causes us to savor the moment and is often accompanied by the feelings of comfort and happiness. This verse seems to encourage us that we don’t have to struggle and fret because we can’t understand the whole Bible or to grasp all the ways of God. If we will just begin to taste a little at a time of God’s love, goodness, mercy and grace we will want to keep seeking for more and more of Him as we see the blessings of His comfort, peace and joy in every aspect of our lives. O taste and see that the Lord is good!

Declaration For Today In Jesus Name – Psalm 36

Each day I go before Adonai and ask Him what I can read to Him. I read and declare as He leads. Recently, He instructed me to share. My hope is that you will be strengthened to move forward by His anointed Word. I declare life into each of you. His Life, His Love, His Word be it unto you this very day in Yeshua (Jesus’) Name Amen

Psalm 36 CJB Crime speaks to the wicked. I perceive this in my heart; before his eyes there is no fear of God. For, the way he sees it, crime makes his life easy — that is, until his wrongs are discovered; then, he is hated. His words are wrong and deceitful; he has stopped being wise and doing good. He devises trouble as he lies in bed; so set is he on his own bad way that he doesn’t hate evil. Adonai, in the heavens is your grace; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mountains of God, your judgments are like the great deep. You save man and beast, Adonai. How precious, God, is your grace! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings, they feast on the rich bounty of your house, and you have them drink from the stream of your delights. For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light. Continue your grace to those who know you and your righteousness to the upright in heart.Don’t let the foot of the proud tread on me or the hands of the wicked drive me away. There they lie fallen, those evildoers, flung down and unable to rise.

We Declare and Decree today that we Trust You Adonai at Your word in Psalm 36.

Continue your grace to those who know you and your righteousness to the upright in heart.Don’t let the foot of the proud tread on me or the hands of the wicked drive me away.

You will expose the crimes of the evildoers. You will make sure that they lie fallen, those evildoers, flung down and unable to rise! In Yeshua (Jesus) Name

My hope is that you will be strengthened to move forward by His anointed Word. I declare life into each of you. His Life, His Love, His Word be it unto you this very day in Yeshua (Jesus’) Name Amen

“ Adonai, God! You made heaven and earth by your great power and outstretched arm; nothing is too hard for you. You display your grace to thousands but also repay the guilt of the fathers into the lap of their children who follow them. Great, powerful God, whose name is Adonai-Tzva’ot, great in counsel, mighty in deed! Your eyes are open to all the ways of human beings in order to repay each one according to his ways, according to the consequences of what he does.
Jeremiah 32:17-19 CJB

We declare and today Abba that You are God! The only One True God! The God of Abraham, Issac and Israel! The Abba of Yeshua (Jesus)!

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of July 10, 2022
By JoBeth Kested

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NIV)

Have you ever been blindfolded and not able to see the way to go; or without a light trying to find something in the dark? It is challenging to acknowledge that the things we see are only temporary when it is our tendency to trust in what we see as absolute reality and truth. In this scripture we are exhorted to focus all our hope on eternity in God’s presence that we cannot currently see. Many would say that they can not believe in a God they can’t see, yet they do not hesitate to travel in airplanes that fly upon winds they can’t see and turn on the power switches in their homes everyday using electricity that they do not see either. God reveals Himself in multitudes of ways that thrill us each and every day; twinkling stars, morning sunrise, ocean sunsets, blooming flowers, a beloved’s kiss, and a baby’s smile. The dream of “happily ever after” is in each of our hearts because “He has placed eternity in our hearts” (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Yes, Lord, we believe!

Psalm 118 CJB Give thanks to Adonai; for he is good, for his grace continues forever. Now let Isra’el say, “His grace continues forever.” Now let the house of Aharon say, “His grace continues forever.” Now let those who fear Adonai say, “His grace continues forever.” From my being hemmed in I called on Yah; he answered and gave me more room. With Adonai on my side, I fear nothing — what can human beings do to me? With Adonai on my side as my help, I will look with triumph at those who hate me. It is better to take refuge in Adonai than to trust in human beings; better to take refuge in Adonai than to put one’s trust in princes. The nations all surrounded me; in the name of Adonai I cut them down. They surrounded me on every side in the name of Adonai I cut them down. They surrounded me like bees but were extinguished [as quickly] as a fire in thorns; in the name of Adonai I cut them down. You pushed me hard to make me fall, but Adonai helped me. Yah is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation. The sound of rejoicing and victory is heard in the tents of the righteous: “ Adonai’s right hand struck powerfully! Adonai’s right hand is raised in triumph! Adonai ’s right hand struck powerfully!” I will not die; no, I will live and proclaim the great deeds of Yah! Yah disciplined me severely, but did not hand me over to death. Open the gates of righteousness for me; I will enter them and thank Yah. This is the gate of Adonai; the righteous can enter it. I am thanking you because you answered me; you became my salvation. The very rock that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone! This has come from Adonai, and in our eyes it is amazing. This is the day Adonai has made, a day for us to rejoice and be glad. Please, Adonai! Save us! Please, Adonai ! Rescue us! Blessed is he who comes in the name of Adonai. We bless you from the house of Adonai . Adonai is God, and he gives us light. Join in the pilgrim festival with branches all the way to the horns of the altar. You are my God, and I thank you. You are my God; I exalt you. Give thanks to Adonai; for he is good, for his grace continues forever.
Psalm 118:1-29 CJB

We Declare and decree: This is the day Adonai has made, a day for us to rejoice and be glad. Please, Adonai! Save us! Please, Adonai ! Rescue us! Blessed is he who comes in the name of Adonai. We bless you from the house of Adonai .
Psalm 118:24-26 CJB

No matter what you are walking through today, Abba still has a good plan for your life. Submit whatever it is to Him, resist the devil and he will flee from you in Jesus Name! Rise up and read Psalm 118 to Abba, out loud! Watch Him do what only He can for you. In Yeshua (Jesus) Name! Amen
