Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of January 7, 2024

“Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. Isaiah 43:1b-3a (NLT)

As we enter this new year are you facing rivers of difficulties or fires of oppression and fears for the future? How wonderful to hear the Lord proclaim at the beginning of these verses that we are not to be afraid. Our God has already paid an exorbitant ransom price to set us free and He calls each of us by name! The Lord declares that because we belong to Him we have nothing to fear; He will not allow any difficulty, oppression or consuming circumstance to destroy us and that He is with us no matter what we have to face in the days ahead. What an awesome truth that He is not only The Lord and Holy God of Israel, but also chose to be our Savior through the blood of Jesus! Renew your trust in His loving care and protection to be your Savior today; rejoicing that you no longer walk alone.

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of December 3, 2023

As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him. For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect. Psalm 18:30-32 (NKJV)

Are you frustrated with your imperfections, disappointed in the imperfect people in your life, or weary of this imperfect world? What a huge comfort to discover the realization that the ways of our God are perfect and to know with assurance that His Word has proven to be perfect, too. He is the protector and defender of all who put their trust in Him. He alone is the Almighty God above all gods and majestic Lord above all lords. There is nothing in this world more sure, more solid and more dependable than our God, The Rock. Our loving, compassionate and merciful God lifts us out of our pity puddles of discouragement, renews our strength and even makes our crooked rough roads into perfect paths of peace. Thank You, Lord!

Blessed or Cursed

YHWH’s Word is Truth. The choice is of course yours. Many seem to be running after the curse.

We must rise up and pray that they see past their intellectualism. They obviously have never actually heard the Truth.

Abba, Today we align ourselves with Your Word Yeshua and in His Name for all who are deceived. For every evil institution that would propagate hatred against Your people and land Israel.

For this reason, ever since I heard about your trust in the Lord Yeshua and your love for all God’s people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you. In my prayers I keep asking the God of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, the glorious Father, to give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you will have full knowledge of him. I pray that he will give light to the eyes of your hearts, so that you will understand the hope to which he has called you, what rich glories there are in the inheritance he has promised his people, and how surpassingly great is his power working in us who trust him. It works with the same mighty strength he used when he worked in the Messiah to raise him from the dead and seat him at his right hand in heaven, far above every ruler, authority, power, dominion or any other name that can be named either in the ‘olam hazeh or in the ‘olam haba. Also, he has put all things under his feet and made him head over everything for the Messianic Community, which is his body, the full expression of him who fills all creation. Ephesians 1:15-23 CJB

Abraham’s Covenant Stands and we are those who declare it today.

Parashah 3: Lekh L’kha (Get yourself out) 12:1–17:27Now said to Avram, “Get yourself out of your country, away from your kinsmen and away from your father’s house, and go to the land that I will show you. I will make of you a great nation, I will bless you, and I will make your name great; and you are to be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
Genesis 12:1-3 CJB

YHWH’s Word IS True! You choose today.. Blessing or Curse and remember that His Son Yeshua shed His blood so that you could have a choice!

Please ask Yeshua-Jesus to be your Lord and Savior today. Lay the devil, demonic hate down and step into The Truth! Repent for your hatred, for believing this lie and ask YHWH to forgive you in Yeshua’s Name.

Welcome to the Kingdom..welcome to the Blessings

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of October 29, 2023
By JoBeth Kested

Praise the Lord, all you nations. Praise him, all you people of the earth. For he loves us with unfailing love; the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever. Praise the Lord! Psalm 117:1-2 (NLT)

Everyone at one time or another suffers the wounds of failed relationships whether it is family, a spouse, best friend or a boss. The hurt, grief, betrayal, injustice and anger can be extremely difficult to deal with or overcome. We can spin our mental and emotional wheels endlessly asking the questions “Why me?”, “How did this happen?”, and “What if…?” yet never finding the answers to soothe our hurting souls. This scripture reminds us that God’s love for ALL nations and ALL people never ends and never fails. No matter our color or culture we will always find His arms open to receive and restore us in His love that will never end! No matter our faults or failures our circumstances or sorrows the promise and healing hope of the Lord’s steadfast unfailing love knows no barriers nor boundaries. Let us ALL lift our voice in gratitude for God’s endless unfailing love and Praise The Lord!

Scripture for the week of October 22, 2023
By JoBeth Kested

“You are My witnesses,” says the Lord, “and My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me. Isaiah 43:10 NKJV

Have you ever considered that there is a big difference between “believing in God” verses “believing God?” Believing in God allows us to believe what we want to believe about God as we attempt to fit Him into the box of our own preferences and understanding. Believing God means we have chosen to acknowledge the absolute sovereignty of the Bible, believing God is Who He says He is and also believing that He will do what He says He will do. God declares in this verse that He has chosen us even before we choose Him! He invites us to “know” Him in an intimate personal relationship that opens the eyes of our understanding with the ability to BELIEVE that He is the one and only true GOD that always was, always is and always will be! Lord, I believe, help me where I still have unbelief. Let your light so shine through me that others also see and believe. Praise the Lord!

Choose Victory by Beth Auman

We have two choices in this life. We can choose to

5 Trust in Adonai with all your heart;
do not rely on your own understanding.
6 In all your ways acknowledge him;
then he will level your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 CJB

Or

We choose to trust in and walk with the false, forever loser the devil, the thief.

10 The thief comes only in order to steal, kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, life in its fullest measure. John 10:10 CJB

Personally, I choose YHWH! Yeshua is Adonai (LORD).

I stand with and pray for the Shalom of Jerusalem and believe His Word!

Psalm 76 CJB

76 (0) For the leader. With string music. A psalm of Asaf. A song:

2 (1) In Y’hudah God is known; his name is great in Isra’el.
3 (2) His tent is in Shalem, his place is in Tziyon.
4 (3) There he broke the flashing arrows, the shield, the sword, and the weapons of war. (Selah)

5 (4) You are glorious, majestic, more so than mountains of prey.
6 (5) The bravest have been stripped of their spoil and now are sleeping their final sleep; not one of these courageous men finds strength to raise his hands.
7 (6) At your rebuke, God of Ya‘akov, riders and horses lie stunned.

8 (7) You are fearsome! When once you are angry, who can stand in your presence?
9 (8) You pronounce sentence from heaven; the earth grows silent with fear
10 (9) when God arises to judge, to save all the humble of the earth. (Selah)

11 (10) Human wrath serves only to praise you;
what remains of this wrath you wear as an ornament.
12 (11) Make vows to Adonai your God, and keep them; all who are around him must bring presents to the one who should be feared.
13 (12) He curbs the spirit of princes; he is fearsome to the kings of the earth.

Today settle this within your own self. Yeshua (Jesus) IS Adonai (Lord) of my life! I renounce satan! I ask forgiveness for my sins and repent for my wrong doing!

I enter into a right relationship with YHWH’s Word! Declaring Psalm 76 in Yeshua’s Name! 2 (1) In Y’hudah God is known; his name is great in Isra’el.
3 (2) His tent is in Shalem, his place is in Tziyon.
4 (3) There he broke the flashing arrows, the shield, the sword, and the weapons of war. (Selah)

Psalms 24 CJB

1 By David. A psalm: The earth is ADONAI’s, with all that is in it, the world and those who live there;

2 for he set its foundations on the seas and established it on the rivers.

3 Who may go up to the mountain of ADONAI? Who can stand in his holy place?

4 Those with clean hands and pure hearts, who don’t make vanities the purpose of their lives or swear oaths just to deceive.

5 They will receive a blessing from ADONAI and justice from God, who saves them.

6 Such is the character of those who seek him, of Ya’akov, who seeks your face. (Selah)

7 Lift up your heads, you gates! Lift them up, everlasting doors, so that the glorious king can enter!

8 Who is he, this glorious king? ADONAI, strong and mighty, ADONAI, mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, you gates! Lift them up, everlasting doors, so that the glorious king can enter!

10 Who is he, this glorious king? ADONAI-Tzva’ot he is the glorious king. (Selah)

Amen!

Victory Is in Yeshua (Jesus)

A Time to Choose by Beth Auman

I hope that Adonai has found you on the wall interceding, declaring, decreeing over Israel. Remember His Word. Be found by Him in covenant with Him for Adonai relates intimately with those who fear Him. Those in whom His Ruach HaKodesh dwell in. His Holy Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and power,
the Spirit of knowledge and fearing Adonai.

Fearing Adonai is our boundary. If you have gone through the new door then you are within His boundary and must be on the wall praying for, interceding for, standing for and defending the apple of His eye! His chosen land and people. We are One (Echad) in Yeshua Messiah.

Isaiah 11:2 CJB

2 The Spirit of Adonai will rest on him,
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and power,
the Spirit of knowledge and fearing Adonai

Psalm 25 CJB

25 (0) By David:

Make me know your ways, Adonai,
teach me your paths.
Guide me in your truth, and teach me;
for you are the God who saves me,
my hope is in you all day long.
Remember your compassion and grace, Adonai;
for these are ages old.
Don’t remember my youthful sins or transgressions;
but remember me according to your grace
for the sake of your goodness, Adonai.

(1) I lift my inner being to you, Adonai;
I trust you, my God.
Don’t let me be disgraced,
don’t let my enemies gloat over me.
No one waiting for you will be disgraced;
disgrace awaits those who break faith for no reason.

Adonai is good, and he is fair;
this is why he teaches sinners the way [to live],
leads the humble to do what is right
and teaches the humble [to live] his way.
10 All Adonai’s paths are grace and truth
to those who keep his covenant and instructions.
11 For the sake of your name, Adonai,
forgive my wickedness, great though it is.

12 Who is the person who fears Adonai?
He will teach him the way to choose.
13 He will remain prosperous,
and his descendants will inherit the land.
14 Adonai relates intimately with those who fear him;
he makes them know his covenant.

15 My eyes are always directed toward Adonai,
for he will free my feet from the net.
16 Turn to me, and show me your favor;
for I am alone and oppressed.
17 The troubles of my heart are growing and growing;
bring me out of my distress.
18 See my affliction and suffering,
and take all my sins away.

19 Consider my enemies, how many there are
and how cruelly they hate me.
20 Protect me and rescue me;
don’t let me be disgraced,
for I take refuge in you.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me,
because my hope is in you.

22 God! Redeem Isra’el
from all their troubles!

Ephesians 2:14-16 CJB

14 For he himself is our shalom — he has made us both one and has broken down the m’chitzah which divided us 15 by destroying in his own body the enmity occasioned by the Torah, with its commands set forth in the form of ordinances. He did this in order to create in union with himself from the two groups a single new humanity and thus make shalom, 16 and in order to reconcile to God both in a single body by being executed on a stake as a criminal and thus in himself killing that enmity.

Abba, we come before You today as One (echad), standing in faith for our brothers and sisters. There is no dividing wall of division. Only the wall of prayer snd intercession that we all stand on today. The chief cornerstone Yeshua, Jesus our Messiah. Open our eyes, show each of us how to align and what to declare, decree, intercede. We submit ourselves unto You Adonai in unity. We resist the devil and he must flee. We declare Davar Shalom! We bind chaos! We take authority over chaos and together read out loud Psalm 25 and in unity we apply Yeshua’s blood over every covenant family and seal our prayer in Yeshua’s Name. Amen

Scripture of The Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of October 8, 2023
By JoBeth Kested

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; 1 Peter 2:9 NKJV

Have you ever felt like a misfit, too different or unacceptable to others around you; among your friends, at work or in your family? Sometimes it can be so hard to handle those inner voices that say, “You don’t fit”, ” Not good enough”, or “Never going to make it”. What an encouragement to find in this scripture what God has to say about you. You are a chosen one! You are a part of the elite inner circle with access to God; a Holy nation! And, you are part of a distinctive people that have accepted God’s invitation to come out of the dark painful, depressing and hopeless places into the marvelous light of His love! So lift your heart, your hands and your voice to praise the Lord because you are a chosen, special one with the opportunity to display His goodness and glory to all those around you in this world! Thank You, Lord!

Scripture for the week of September 10, 2023
By JoBeth Kested

Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the LORD will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. Isaiah 60:1-2 NKJV

Is there anything more beautiful than the dawning rays of sunlight breaking into a new day over majestic mountains, upon rolling ocean waves or watching from the serenity of your own back porch? But, what does the glory of the Lord rising upon us mean? The glory of the Lord in this scripture seems to mean the promise of His loving presence that drives away loneliness, the comfort of His peace that passes understanding, blessings of mercy that triumph over judgement, and the goodness of His enabling grace bestowed upon us. There are times we all need the restoring hope of light to drive out the darkness of fearful times and the unexpected circumstances afflicting our souls. What an encouraging gift we have in the promise of these scriptures that even in the darkest times our loving God promises the arising light upon us with His glorious presence, comfort and sufficient grace for each day. Thank You, Lord!

Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. Isaiah 46:9 (NIV)

Have you heard the saying,”You can’t know where you are going unless you know where you came from?” God instructs us in this scripture of the importance to remember the former things; twice declaring that He alone is God and there is none like Him! It is helpful to recall the stories of faith from those that have gone before us, overcoming great trials, handicaps, poverty and wars. In the midst of our current needs and busyness, have we forgotten the answered prayers and miracles we’ve experienced or learned about in the past that can inspire our faith to trust God for our needs today? Let us remember there is no other God whose very nature is love, extends mercy, offers peace, forgives sin, heals diseases, saves the lost, wipes away all our tears and knows the number of hairs on our heads! He is the King of kings, Lord of lords, Commander of the Angel Armies and yet, is also our loving Heavenly Father. There is no other God like our God! Amen!
