I Can Do All Things Through Messiah
The Eternal Legacy of Testimony
“I know what it is to live with humble means, and I know what it is to live in prosperity. In any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of contentment—both to be filled and to go hungry, to have abundance and to suffer need. I can do all things through Messiah who strengthens me.”

I can do all things through Messiah who strengthens me.
My entire being responds to His Word with a resounding:
Amen!
I have been here.
In the valley.
Praying. Standing. Watching. Waiting.
Walking by faith and not by what I see before me.
I have been there many times.
And in many ways, I am there right now.
I am standing in faith for Abba to move on my behalf. I have done what I know to do, and now I stand.
Yet something unexpected has been happening.
Rather than teaching me only about how to endure the valley, Abba has been turning my attention toward what happens after the valley.
What happens when the prayer is answered?
What happens when breakthrough comes?
What happens when the thing we have prayed for, cried over, waited for, and believed for finally becomes our testimony?
What Happens After the Answer?
So often we pray fervently while we are in need.
We seek Him.
We stand upon His Word.
We ask others to stand with us.
We remember His promises.
And then the answer comes.
The door opens.
Provision arrives.
The relationship is restored.
The season changes.
The prayer becomes a testimony.
We praise Him—and then sometimes we simply move on to the next thing.
But lately I have been learning to look again at past blessings.
Not merely to remember that Adonai answered, but to ask:
What did I do with the answer?
Did I steward the blessing?
Did I continue to thank Him?
Did I continue to testify?
Did the blessing become merely a moment in my life—or did it become part of the enduring testimony of His faithfulness?
I am beginning to understand more deeply that remembrance matters.
The testimony should not disappear simply because the crisis has passed.
The answered prayer becomes a testimony stone.
And testimony stones belong upon the altar of remembrance.
Messiah Strengthens Me on the Mountaintop Too
Philippians 4:13 is spoken so often as encouragement when someone is deep in a valley:
“I can do all things through Messiah who strengthens me.”
And yes!
When we are hurting, waiting, struggling, or facing what appears impossible, we need His strength.
But look again at what Paul says immediately before it:
“I know what it is to live with humble means, and I know what it is to live in prosperity.”
Paul knew need.
But Paul also knew abundance.
He had learned the secret of contentment in both.
That changed the way I saw this Scripture.
I need Messiah’s strength in the valley.
But I also need Messiah’s strength on the mountaintop.
I need His strength when I am waiting for the answer.
And I need His strength when I am entrusted with the answer.
Because blessing carries stewardship.
Breakthrough carries responsibility.
Abundance still requires dependence upon Him.
When Adonai has blessed us exceedingly and abundantly beyond what we could have imagined, perhaps that is not the time to stop declaring Philippians 4:13.
Perhaps it is another moment to proclaim it:
Abba, I can do all things through Messiah who strengthens me.
Strengthen me now to steward what You have placed into my hands.
I Have Seen His Goodness
There is another Scripture I have prayed and believed:
“Surely I trust that I will see the goodness of Adonai in the land of the living.”
— Psalm 27:13 (TLV)
There are times when we pray this from the valley.
I believe I will see Your goodness.
But what about the day when we look around and realize:
I am seeing it.
The prayer has become testimony.
Then our response becomes:
Abba, I give You all Glory, Praise, and Honor.
You answered the cry of my heart.
You allowed me to see Your goodness in the land of the living.
Now teach me how to steward what You have given.
Lead me as a faithful steward over the blessing.
Guide me along Your well-lit path as I carry what You have entrusted to me.
Guard me as I function in the strength Messiah has given me.
Protect me from leaning upon my own understanding and attempting to accomplish Your purposes my own way.
Provide for me and teach me to steward this blessing beyond a temporary moment.
Align me with others who desire to walk in unity with You.
Assign me to those who are still in the valley—still praying, still standing, still waiting, still doing all things through Messiah who strengthens them.
Because perhaps part of the purpose of my mountaintop is to turn around and encourage someone who is still climbing.
Adonai-Ro’eh — My Shepherd
Psalm 23 gives us another beautiful picture:
“Adonai is my shepherd, I shall not want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for His Name’s sake.”
— Psalm 23:1–3 (TLV)
Adonai-Ro’eh.
My Shepherd.
You have truly been my Shepherd.
You have brought me into green pastures—lush, living, healthy places.
You have led me beside still waters where Your shalom has quieted storms within me.
You have restored my soul.
You have guided me in paths of righteousness.
And then Scripture tells us why:
“For His Name’s sake.”
There it is again.
My testimony was never ultimately about me.
My testimony is for His Glory.
Do Not Squander the Testimony
I do not want to receive something from the hand of Adonai and then forget the One who gave it.
I do not want yesterday’s answered prayer to become today’s forgotten blessing.
I want to remember.
I want to testify.
I want to steward what He has placed into my hands in such a way that the blessing continues to bring Glory to His Name.
Because I am beginning to understand something:
My testimony has an eternal legacy.
What Adonai has done in my life is not merely a collection of wonderful moments to remember. Every testimony of His faithfulness becomes another stone upon the altar of remembrance.
And when I recount those stones, my faith rises again.
Look what Adonai has done.
He was faithful there.
He provided there.
He carried me there.
He strengthened me there.
He answered me there.
Ebenezer—thus far Adonai has helped me.
And if He has been faithful all along the path behind me, I can trust Him with the path still before me.
The Faith That Overcomes
John writes:
“For everyone born of God overcomes the world. And the victory that has overcome the world is this—our faith.”
— 1 John 5:4 (TLV)
There is our faith again.
The same faith that walks when it cannot see.
The same faith that becomes still enough to remember who He is.
The same faith that receives His new mercies every morning.
The same faith that trusts Adonai rather than leaning upon its own understanding.
And now—
the faith that overcomes.
Perhaps overcoming is not merely arriving on the other side of a difficult circumstance.
Perhaps part of overcoming is what happens after we arrive.
Will we remember?
Will we remain faithful?
Will we steward what He has entrusted to us?
Will our testimony continue pointing toward Yeshua?
To the One Who Overcomes
Yeshua says:
“To the one who overcomes, I will grant the right to eat from the Tree of Life, which is in the Paradise of God.”
— Revelation 2:7 (TLV)
There it is.
The Tree of Life.
The thread that has been running through this entire journey.
This is not merely about surviving valleys or celebrating mountaintops.
It is about belonging to Yeshua.
Abiding in Him.
Walking by faith.
Trusting Him.
Overcoming through faith.
And allowing every part of our testimony to bring Glory to His Name.
Revelation gives us another extraordinary picture.
The twenty-four elders fall before the One seated upon the throne and cast their crowns before Him, declaring that He alone is worthy to receive glory, honor, and power.
That image deeply moves me.
Because what could I possibly possess that did not first come from Him?
Every victory.
Every answered prayer.
Every provision.
Every breakthrough.
Every testimony.
Every crown.
Ultimately, everything returns to Him.
For His Glory Alone.
From Valley to Testimony
Perhaps this is why Philippians 4:13 has become even larger to me.
“I can do all things through Messiah who strengthens me.”
Yes, Yeshua strengthens me in the valley.
But He also strengthens me when I reach the mountaintop.
He strengthens me to wait.
He strengthens me to receive.
He strengthens me to steward.
He strengthens me to remember.
He strengthens me to testify.
He strengthens me to pour out from what He has poured into me.
And He strengthens me to take whatever crown may come from this journey and place it back at His feet.
I don’t want merely to receive a breakthrough.
I want the breakthrough to become testimony.
I don’t want merely to possess a blessing.
I want to steward the blessing.
I don’t want merely to remember what Adonai did.
I want the remembrance to strengthen someone who is still standing in their valley.
Maybe that is one reason testimony matters so much.
Someone else may still be praying the prayer that you are now able to say He answered.
Tell them.
Place another stone upon the altar.
Look what Adonai has done.
Reflection
When you look back over your life, what answered prayer has become a testimony stone that you never want to forget?
Have you ever received something you prayed for and then moved so quickly into the next need that you forgot to continue thanking Adonai for what He had already done?
What blessing has He entrusted to you that now requires faithful stewardship?
Are you presently in a valley where Philippians 4:13 means, “Messiah, strengthen me to continue”?
Or are you standing upon a mountaintop where those same words now mean, “Messiah, strengthen me to steward what You have given me”?
Who might still be standing in a valley that you have already walked through?
Could your testimony become encouragement for them to keep believing, keep standing, and keep trusting?
And when you consider everything Adonai has done, can you see the testimony stones beginning to form an altar of remembrance?
A Prayer at the Gate
Abba,
I give You all Glory, Praise, and Honor.
Thank You for every valley through which You have carried me.
Thank You for every mountaintop upon which You have allowed me to stand.
Thank You for every prayer You have answered, every provision You have made, every door You have opened, every place You have restored, and every testimony You have placed within my life.
Forgive me for the times I have received Your blessing and hurried into the next thing without stopping long enough to remember.
Teach me to steward my testimony.
When I am in the valley, strengthen me to stand.
When I am on the mountaintop, strengthen me to remain humble and faithful.
When You answer the prayer of my heart, teach me to recognize Your goodness and testify of Your faithfulness.
Lead me as I steward what You have entrusted to me.
Guide me along Your well-lit path.
Guard me from pride, distraction, and forgetfulness.
Protect me from leaning upon my own understanding.
Provide for me so that what You have placed within my hands becomes an enduring testimony rather than a passing moment.
Align me with those who are walking in unity with You.
Assign me to those who are still standing in valleys I have already walked through, so that my testimony might encourage them to continue.
Yeshua, strengthen me.
Strengthen me in need.
Strengthen me in abundance.
Strengthen me while I wait.
Strengthen me when the answer comes.
Strengthen me to overcome by faith.
And whatever crowns are produced through this life, may I joyfully lay them before You.
You alone are worthy.
May every answered prayer become a testimony stone.
May every testimony point to Yeshua.
May every blessing be stewarded for Your purposes.
And may my life declare:
Surely I have seen the goodness of Adonai in the land of the living.
I can do all things through Messiah who strengthens me.
For Your Name’s sake.
For Your Glory Alone.
