Desist and Know

2 (1) God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
3 (2) Therefore we are unafraid,
even if the earth gives way,
even if the mountains tumble
into the depths of the sea,
4 (3) even if its waters rage and foam,
and mountains shake at its turbulence. (Selah)

5 (4) There is a river whose streams
gladden the city of God,
the holy habitation of ‘Elyon —
6 (5) God is in the city.
It will not be moved —
when daybreak comes, God will help it.
7 (6) Nations were in turmoil,
kingdoms were moved;
his voice thundered forth,
and the earth melted away.

8 (7) Adonai-Tzva’ot is with us,
our fortress, the God of Ya‘akov. (Selah)
9 (8) Come and see the works of Adonai,
the astounding deeds he has done on the earth.
10 (9) To the ends of the earth he makes wars cease —
he breaks the bow, snaps the spear,
burns the shields in the fire.
11 (10) “Desist, and learn that I am God, supreme over the nations, supreme over the earth.”

12 (11) Adonai-Tzva’ot is with us,
our fortress, the God of Ya‘akov. (Selah)

Today is a day of decision. Whose report will you believe? Adonai’s or the devils. It is as simple as that.

YHWH said in Exodus 20:13 CJB  13 “Do not murder.

Yeshua said it very plainly in John 10:10 CJB 10 The thief comes only in order to steal, kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, life in its fullest measure.

Abba, remove the veil of lies that cover the eyes of all that cannot see this in Yeshua’s Name

May they repent, desist and run into Your strong and loving arms today in Yeshua’s Name Amen

“There is no one like the God of Jeshurun, who rides across the heavens to help you and on the clouds in his majesty. The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He will drive out your enemies before you, saying, ‘Destroy them!’ Deuteronomy 33:26-27 (NIV)

Have you ever felt the heavy weight of discouragement in trying to stand in the battles for what is righteous, honorable and true? The word Jeshurun in this verse is often used instead of the name Israel, God’s chosen people, and also implies one who is straight, upright and just. Therefore, this scripture exhorts us that the God of those who stand upright and straight for justice, His chosen ones, He will ride the winds of the clouds across the heavens in all of His majestic power to come to your help. He declares that He is your secure refuge and that He upholds you close to His heart in the everlasting strength of His arms; defending you in battle and promising to destroy your enemies! Be encouraged, for truly, there is no one like our God!

5 I acknowledge my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.

11 Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Abba, we come before Your throne of grace today and declare that we are glad in You Lord! We rejoice and shout for joy!  We are Blessed because You have forgiven our transgressions and our sins are covered by Jesus blood. You made a way. Only You! We trust in You! We have confessed and been forgiven and we Praise You! We raise our Hallelujah!!

Scripture for the week of August 11, 2024

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. Philippians 4:19-20 (NKJV)

Do you have difficulty believing that God really cares about any of the pressing needs you are currently facing? First of all, this verse profoundly declares that our God supplies ALL our need! But, if we are to understand that the doorway of His provision is in the glory of Jesus we may need to ask what is the glory? Biblically this often refers to the manifestation or the reality of God’s presence with us. Remember, one of the names of Jesus is Emanuel which means God with us. Therefore, there is a wealth of God’s provision for us as we grasp that Jesus is with us; our Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor, Friend of Sinners and our Savior. He is real, present and available to us in every circumstance today and everyday to meet ALL our needs. With renewed faith in His love for us, let us give worship, praise and glory back to our Father God. Yes, Amen!

One Life to Live by Beth Auman

We are mortals – we live one life and die one death – then it’s eternal joy in heaven or eternal misery in hell. We ask the Lord for forgiveness of our sins and we die daily to our flesh that we will not practice sin.. (That is knowingly committing sin – over and over, knowing that it is sinful and doing it anyway) We learn our lessons from past sins and walk the journey of life learning from our mistakes – asking for and receiving forgiveness for our sins along the way- this is a daily journey – to our eternal destination. (That is if we are believers in Jesus Christ and have made Him Lord of our lives . Those who have not will live eternally – but not in heaven.)

Hebrews 9:27-28 The Voice (VOICE) 27 Just as mortals are appointed to die once and then to experience a judgment, 28 so the Anointed One, our Liberating King, was offered once in death to bear the sins of many and will appear a second time, not to deal again with sin, but to rescue those who eagerly await His return.

What are you doing with your life? Have you given thought to this passage? One Life – to fulfill the destiny for which God Himself created you. Are you fulfilling your destiny or are you running away from it and serving the evil sinful devil?

God is the God of life not the God of recycling – He is creative – He creates – He has all creative power and He creates mortals to live one life and die one death. Jesus came once and offered His life so that our sins can be forgiven. He will come again to rescue those who eagerly await His return. We are only promised today. I Love the Voice Translation of the Bible –

James 4:13-17 The Voice (VOICE) 13 Listen carefully, those of you who make your plans and say, “We are traveling to this city in the next few days. We’ll stay there for one year while our business explodes and revenue is up.” 14 The reality is you have no idea where your life will take you tomorrow. You are like a mist that appears one moment and then vanishes another. 15 It would be best to say, “If it is the Lord’s will and we live long enough, we hope to do this project or pursue that dream.” 16 But your current speech indicates an arrogance that does not acknowledge the One who controls the universe, and this kind of big talking is the epitome of evil. 17 So if you know the right way to live and ignore it, it is sin – plain and simple.

He is the God of second chances during life – Jesus is always there to offer forgiveness for wrong mindsets, for sin – He gives us one life to live and one death to die.

Holy Spirit of Truth – Please come and impart truth to this generation – I pray for the Salvation of this generation of people – that they will know You – The Truth and that You will make them free, Jesus Christ You alone are the Way, Truth and Life, No man comes to the Father except by You.  John 14:6The Voice (VOICE) Jesus: 6 I am the path, the truth, and the energy of life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. 

I personally, eagerly await His return. Do you? The choice is always yours..Life – Death – Heaven – Hell. but rest assured you only have Once to Life and Once to Die. Do of course remember to occupy until He comes, (Luke 19:13).

Ephesians 4:21-24 The Voice (VOICE) 21 If you have heard Jesus and have been taught by Him according to the truth that is in Him, 22 then you know to take off your former way of life, your crumpled old self—that dark blot of a soul corrupted by deceitful desire and lust 23 to take a fresh breath and to let God renew your attitude and spirit. 24 Then you are ready to put on your new self, modeled after the very likeness of God: truthful, righteous, and holy.

Romans 12:2 The Voice (VOICE) 2 Do not allow this world to mold you in its own image. Instead, be transformed from the inside out by renewing your mind. As a result, you will be able to discern what God wills and whatever God finds good, pleasing, and complete.

Abba Father – I pray in Jesus name – I take my seat in Christ Jesus – take the authority given to me by the Power given to Jesus and I apply His blood over each person – I pray individually and corporately that each one will come to know You Jesus and crown You Lord of their life and that we will all corporately be the Body of Christ that Jesus is coming for – walking in power and authority  – living the one life that You have chosen us for and fulfilling our destiny in You.. Amen

13 Surely I trust that I will see the goodness
of Adonai in the land of the living.

Be strong, let Your heart take courage,
    and wait for Adonai.

Decree: I Trust You ADONAI! I Trust that I will see Your Goodness in the land of the living! I have set myself to wait for You because You are always on time. I have set my heart to be strong because Your Joy is my strength. I have set my will to let my heart take courage and wait for You ADONAI because I will see Your goodness in the land of the living! I will find You in the waiting. On this side of eternity!! In Yeshua’s Name Amen!!

Adonai is my light and my salvation: whom should I fear?
Adonai is the stronghold of my life: whom should I dread?

3 Though an army camp besieges me, my heart will not fear.  Though war breaks out against me, even then will I be confident.
4 One thing have I asked of Adonai, that will I seek: to dwell in the House of Adonai
    all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of Adonai;  and to meditate in His Temple.
5 For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His sukkah, conceal me in the shelter of His tent, and set me high upon a rock.

A man’s steps are established by the Lord, and He takes pleasure in his way. Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed, because the Lord holds his hand. Psalm 37:23-24 (HCSB)

Have you ever enjoyed the craziness of a scavenger hunt where you are dependent upon finding the right clues that will guide you in the way you need to go? Sometimes, due to circumstances beyond our control, we find ourselves feeling helpless and clueless, like stumbling in the dark, with a fear of falling and no map or plan to follow. How encouraging it is to learn in these scriptures that we can trust that the Lord takes pleasure in establishing our steps and showing us the way to go. He promises that even if we stumble along the way, He is holding our hand to protect us from falling or from anything that is overwhelming for us. Lord, establish our steps, please hold our hand and protect us as we follow you out of the dark and confusing times of our lives. Thank You, Lord!

Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You. —the Great, the Mighty God, whose name is the Lord of hosts. Jeremiah 31:17,18b (NKJV)

Have you ever gazed upon the innumerable stars in the night sky, admired the beauty of a sunset or captivated by the ocean depths and wondered in awe of the power and majesty of God? It is really easy to then feel so small and insignificant with doubts that God would care about us and our circumstances. Mighty God in this verse means Warrior, a Champion and Hero. The God who made all of creation, Warrior Lord of all the Angel Armies of Heaven, is also our Champion and Hero! Are you battle weary of circumstances beyond your control or blind sighted by troubles you least expected? No matter what you are facing, be encouraged and trust that the great and powerful arm of Mighty God (El-Gibbor), your Champion, your Hero, is outstretched to you! There is nothing too hard for our God to protect and provide, to lead and guide us in all our circumstances. Yes, Amen!

The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV)

Have you ever come to an unexpected fork in the road, afraid and discouraged without a clue of which way to go? You may be holding onto some hopes, promises and dreams but feel like you have lost your way. This scripture was spoken to Joshua when Moses directed him to lead the Israelites into the promised land. What an encouragement this promise of the Lord’s presence and guidance must have been to Joshua and it can be for you, too. Grab hold of this truth for yourself and allow the Lord to reveal and establish the hope of His presence with you. You can release your fears and discouragements knowing without a doubt that The Lord is with you! He’ll never leave you and He is going before you to lead you into the future, hope and blessings He has prepared just for you! Praise the Lord!

(1) I am singing of grace and justice;
I am singing to you, Adonai.
2 I will follow the path of integrity;
when will you come to me?
I will run my life with a sincere heart
inside my own house.
3 I will not allow before my eyes
any shameful thing.
I hate those who act crookedly;
what they do does not attract me.
4 Deviousness will depart from me;
I will not tolerate evil.
5 If someone slanders another in secret,
I will cut him off.
Haughty eyes and proud hearts
I cannot abide.

6 I look to the faithful of the land,
so that they can be my companions;

Adonai, we stand today declaring and decreeing Psalm 101 over our lives, our Nation, our families, ministries, ministry covenant partners, friends and neighbors in Yeshua’s Name Amen

Rise up, take your seat in heavenly places in Yeshua Hamashiach declare and decree Adonai’s Word.
