One Lamb Per Household

One Lamb for the Household

Generational Salvation through the Lamb of God – Yeshua (Jesus)

Scripture Focus

Exodus 12:3 – “Each man is to take a lamb for his family, one lamb for the household.”

Devotional

Nissan is the first month in God’s appointed calendar—His beginning of beginnings. This is important. It marks a divine reset, a sacred invitation into His times and seasons.

You are not forced to observe the Feasts of the Lord. Abba will never remove your free will. Salvation through Yeshua (Jesus) is secure for those who believe. Yet, there are blessings connected to honoring what He calls holy. When we choose His ways, we step into deeper alignment with His heart.

In Exodus 23:20–33, we see beautiful promises connected to walking in His ways:

  • Divine protection
  • Victory through alignment and positioning
  • Commissioned authority
  • Supernatural health and provision
  • Multiplication and longevity
  • A holy fear released upon enemies
  • Relief from adversaries
  • Dominion and increased inheritance
  • Freedom from corrupt covenants

Nissan begins the cycle of First Fruits and carries within it Passover—the foundation of redemption. This is a powerful time to learn, to remember, and to celebrate.

From the beginning, Adonai established a profound principle: one lamb for one household. If a household was too small, they were instructed to share with their neighbor. This was never meant to be isolated—it was always communal, always generational.

Yeshua (Jesus), our Messiah, is that Lamb.

John 1:29 declares: “Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

And through Him:

Revelation 12:11 reminds us that we overcome “by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.”

This is not just theology—it is inheritance.

Many believers are awakening to the Hebraic roots of their faith, recognizing that God operates within a sacred calendar He established from the very beginning. In Genesis, when God spoke creation into existence, He also set times and seasons in motion—appointed moments to meet with Him.

These Feasts are not burdens; they are invitations.

The call is not merely to know about God, but to live from the Tree of Life—to love what He loves, simply because we love Him.

James 4:7–8 calls us deeper:

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee… Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”

Through Yeshua, we are brought into what Ephesians 2:14–16 calls “one new humanity.” He Himself is our peace—removing division and reconciling us to God through His sacrifice.

This does not remove us from God’s appointed times—it invites us into them.

Passover reveals the heart of the Father:

A Lamb given.

A household covered.

A people delivered.

When the blood was applied to the doorposts in Egypt, it marked protection, deliverance, and covenant. Today, through Yeshua, we apply that same truth spiritually—over our lives, our families, and our generations.

This is why “one Lamb for the household” still speaks today.

It is an invitation to:

  • Cover your family in the finished work of Jesus
  • Declare salvation over your household
  • Share the Good News with those near you

As Yeshua said in Mark 16:15:

“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”

A Heart Posture of Celebration

We do not celebrate Passover out of religious obligation—but out of relationship.

We gather, we remember, we give thanks.

We honor the Lamb—Yeshua—who brought us from death into life.

Each year, we ask the Lord to teach us how to celebrate His ways more fully, more purely, and more intimately.

And as we do, He reveals more of His heart.

A Gentle Invitation

Take a moment and ask the Lord:

“Abba, how do You want me to honor You in this season?”

He is faithful to guide you into all truth (John 16:13).

There are many traditions in the world, but not all of them reflect His Word. This is not about condemnation—it is about invitation. The Word of God is complete, living, and full of truth.

He desires closeness with you.

Reflection Question

What would it look like for me and my household to intentionally honor the Lamb in this season?

Decree & Prayer

Father, in Yeshua’s Name,

I thank You for the Lamb—Jesus the Messiah—given for my household.

Today, I apply the blood of the Lamb over my life, my family, and my generations.

I declare that I have passed over from death into life by the blood of the Lamb.

I thank You for Your deliverance, Your protection, and Your covenant promises.

I ask for salvation to flow through my household and to those near me.

Teach me to honor You in Your appointed times.

Show me how to love what You love.

Holy Spirit, lead me into all truth.

May the Shalom of Yeshua be my portion always,

And may I receive all that You have for me.

In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Closing Blessing

Yeshua (Jesus) is King of kings and Lord of lords.

May His Shalom—His wholeness and peace—rest upon you and your household.

Blessings and Shalom,

Love Beyond Measure,
