Scripture Of The Week By JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of March 15, 2015
By JoBeth Kested

He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. He brought me out into a spacious place; He rescued me because he delighted in me. Psalm 18:17-19 (NIV)

Have you ever felt like you are facing enemies or difficult circumstances too powerful to overcome? Sometimes we find ourselves in the midst of overpowering situations that feel like there is nowhere to turn and no one to help. These scriptures remind us that even when we are confronted with hopeless delimas and powerful foes, underneath our shaking knees we have the unshakable strength and support of the all powerful, almighty King of kings and Lord of lords. Because our Heavenly Father delights in you and me, He rescues us from any captivity and bring us out into the freedom of open spaces with new opportunities. Whatever we face today or tomorrow we must not forget to rejoice in the truth that the Lord delights in us and will always be our strength, our deliverer, and Savior. All glory, honor and praise to our God! Yes, amen!

Scripture Of The Week By JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of March 8, 2026
By JoBeth Kested

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV)

Have you ever experienced the abandonment of someone special, the betrayal of a friend, rejection of family, or a deep empty loneliness that won’t go away? Or, do paralyzing fears in your life or fear of death cripple your hopes for the future? This scripture is a comforting promise that no matter what valley of pain or fear we may have to walk through in this life, there is absolutely no power, nor anyplace, any person nor anything that can separate us from the love of Christ. Corrie ten Boom, a survivor of one of the worst Nazi concentration camps during WWII, once said, “There is no pit so deep, that God’s love is not deeper still.” If you struggle with past hurts, present anxiety, fear of death or fear of any future dilemma, ask Jesus to come fill your heart with His perfect love that casts out all fear. (1 John 4:18) Only Jesus can heal our hearts and fill us with His love that never fails and will never leave us. May you know the joy of God’s endless love for you today.

Love Day Blessings To You Today

Let us all remember what Love actually is.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Everyday belongs to YHWH. So declare His Word.

24 This is the day the Lord has made;
We will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24 NKJV

I am Thankful for all of you whom Abba gave to me to Love. His Love is in my heart and my goal in life is to Love like Yeshua (Jesus) my Messiah!!

Scriptures for the week of December 28, 2025
By JoBeth Kested

Even when you are old, I (God) will be the same. Even when your hair has turned gray, I will take care of you. I made you and will take care of you. I will carry you and save you. Isaiah 46:4 (NCV)

As we face a new year and things unknown, do you ever have fear and worry about what the future may hold? The older we get the easier it is to focus on the uncertainties and possibilities for unexpected difficulties and disasters that may come. What an encouraging promise from The Lord that even if we face changing circumstances, financial limitations, deteriorating health or the frailty of old age, our Father God, Who is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, will care for us. As surely as He gave us life, He is more than able to provide, carry and save us no matter what we may face in the future ahead. We can confidently place our hope in The Lord. Thank You, Lord!

Scripture for the week of November 2, 2025
By JoBeth Kested

For the Lord is a great God and a great King above all gods, in whose hand are the depths of the earth, the peaks of the mountains are His also. The sea is His, for it was He who made it, and His hands formed the dry land. Come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. Psalm 95:3-6 (NASB)

Have you ever had your breath taken away in the beauty of an ocean sunset, stood in awe of snow capped mountains or captivated by the delicate display of wild flowers in a meadow? Elohim, the Creator God, the most masterful of all artists, reveals Himself to us in the minuscule and extravagant details of His creation. God displays His majesty in the loftiness of mountains high and ocean depths. He calls us to fear and wonder at His sovereignty in the power of storms and miraculous expressions of mercy in our lives. He draws us near to His heart in the loveliness of butterfly wings, the fragrance of a rose and the wonder of the birth of a baby. Then, wonder of all wonders we are invited to call Him Father because He loves us! Come, let us worship and bow down, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker. Amen!

Exposing Yourself as Cain

Examine yourself.

We are to:
Romans 12:15-16 TLV 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep. [a] 16 Live in harmony with one another; do not be proud, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own eyes.

If this is not what you are doing.. you have exposed yourself as Cain.

There is a great exposing happening during this Month of Elul. Cain has risen to slay a brother. Others who claim to know Yeshua, are clearly sons and daughters of Cain with stones in their hands.

I have witnessed this with my own eyes and I plead Yeshua’s blood over each one and ask that prior to the day of Atonement – Repent and be cleansed!

We are to be the One New Man..Yeshua is coming back for. I personally have dedicated my life to being His Bride. I do not want to be left behind. There is no greedy grace, but you can Repent!

Ephesians 2:14-16 TLV 14 For He is our shalom, the One who made the two into one and broke down the middle wall of separation. Within His flesh He made powerless the hostility— 15 the law code of mitzvot contained in regulations. He did this in order to create within Himself one new man from the two groups, making shalom, 16 and to reconcile both to God in one body through the cross—by which He put the hostility to death.

Genesis 4 TLV

Cain and Abel’s Blood

4 Now the man had relations with Eve his wife and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, “I produced a man with Adonai.” 2 Then she gave birth again, to his brother Abel. Abel became a shepherd of flocks while Cain became a worker of the ground. 3 So it happened after some time that Cain brought an offering of the fruit of the ground to Adonai, 4 while Abel—he also brought of the firstborn of his flock and their fat portions. Now Adonai looked favorably upon Abel and his offering, 5 but upon Cain and his offering He did not look favorably. Cain became very angry, and his countenance fell.

6 Then Adonai said to Cain, “Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? 7 If you do well, it will lift. But if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the doorway. Its desire is for you, but you must master it.”

8 Cain spoke to Abel his brother. While they were in the field, Cain rose up against Abel his brother and killed him. [a] 9 Then Adonai said to Cain, “Where is Abel, your brother?”

“I don’t know,” he said. “Am I my brother’s keeper?”

10 Then He said, “What have you done? The voice of your brother’s blood is crying out to Me from the ground. 11 So now, cursed are you from the ground which opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. 12 As often as you work the ground, it will not yield its crops to you again. You will be a restless wanderer on the earth.”

13 Cain said to Adonai, “My iniquity[b] is too great to bear! 14 Since You expelled me today from the face of the ground and I must be hidden from Your presence, then I will be a restless wanderer on the earth—anyone who finds me will kill me!”

15 But Adonai said to him, “In that case, anyone who kills Cain is to be avenged seven times over.”

So Adonai put a mark on Cain, so that anyone who found him would not strike him down. 16 Then Cain left Adonai’s presence and dwelled in the Land of Wandering, east of Eden.

The Truth being revealed according to John 8:31-32 is that we must examine ourselves and choose. If you celebrate the death of another Child of athe Most High God.. you are exposing yourself as a child of Cain an antichrist spirit is in you and YHWH cares not what you think or want to say. He only cares truly about His Word (Yeshua). He has written how we are to conduct ourselves.

Either you are OR you are not. Examine yourself while there is still Time.

Don’t be a Virgin with no oil..one who spent their time cursing others, not fulfilling the Commandment to:

Matthew 22:37-40 TLV 37 And He said to him, “‘You shall love Adonai your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ [a] 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ [b] 40 The entire Torah and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Blessings and Shalom from one who has no stones in her hands.

Scripture Of The Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of June 8, 2025
By JoBeth Kested

But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head. I cried to the Lord with my voice, and He heard me from His holy hill. I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me. Psalm 3:3-5 (NKJV)

Have you ever felt like you need a protector and defender or someone to help hold your head up when troubles just seem too much? And have you ever cried out for help when no one was there and you couldn’t even sleep to escape the hopelessness? The Lord makes several wonderful promises to us in these verses; declaring His compassionate care for us when we are distraught, frail and feel abandoned. 1) He is our shield, protector and defender. 2) He is our glory; bestowing His goodness, praise and honor upon us. 3) He lifts up our head and restores our hope. 4) He hears our prayers and cries for help! 5) He grants us sleep and rest in our weariness. 6) He sustains us and provides all our needs. Rest in the assurance today and everyday that He will hear your voice and answer you from His holy hill because of His great love for you. Selah!

Scripture for the week of May 4, 2025
By JoBeth Kested

I will stand at my guard post. I will station myself on the wall. I will watch to see what He will say to me and what answer I will get to my complaint. Habakkuk 2:1 (GW)

Have you ever had to wait longingly for an important letter or phone call that would free you from the anxiety of something unknown or for hopes fulfilled? How agonizing the waiting process can be; demanding all of our attention and hindering our ability to focus on anything else! What if we turned that same waiting expectation and anticipation toward hearing God’s voice? It is interesting that this scripture instructs us to watch and wait with the assurance that God will answer our complaints or questions. Or with the Lord’s gentle reproving correction from some others translations. We are encouraged to take our place like a disciplined soldier standing guard upon the fortress high place and to watch with confident expectation that our loving God will surely answer all our doubts, fears, questions and complaints. Lord, help us to wait on You. Give us eyes to see your ways and ears to hear your voice. Yes, amen.

“I have set the LORD continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.” Psalms 16:8,11 (NASB)

Have you ever wondered how to have joy through any circumstance? Biblically joy goes beyond emotional happiness which is dependent on whatever makes us feel good and it is temporary. Joy is primarily a choice and is dependent upon trusting in the sovereign goodness of God, even when we don’t feel it, and knowing that He is Who He says He is as revealed to us in His Word. When this scripture mentions God’s place at the Psalmists right hand that implies giving Him the highest place of honor and absolute power in our lives. We learn in this scripture that when we choose to abide in His presence we can know the security of safety, overflowing joy and everlasting pleasure. HIs right hand holds all power and all authority in heaven and on earth to defend and provide for us. Lord, please go before us revealing the path of abundant life in Your presence and the fullness of joy we all long for. Amen.
