Scripture Of The Week By JoBeth Kested

Scripture of the week of November 9, 2025 By JoBeth Kested

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; Psalm 23:1-3a

Have you ever longed for peace, comfort and rest for your soul? Our souls involve our mind, will and emotions where we feel the longing or afflictions of doubt, fear, sorrows and confusion that rob us of peace. We are likened to helpless fearful sheep in these scriptures and what a comfort to know that the Lord is our Good Shepherd caring for all our needs, lacking nothing. We may not be quite as excited to realize that He will sometimes make us to lie down and most of us don’t like the idea of anyone making us do anything! Yet, we would gladly welcome the comfort, peace and restored hope we all long for in our souls if we could find it. Dear Lord, direct our steps to a still quiet place in Your presence; free from pressures, anxiety and disappointments to find the comforting rest for our souls that You have provided for us. Amen.

Called Into His Light by Beth Auman

Devotional

Day to Remember: Called Into His Light

A gentle reflection with Scripture, questions, and prayer

Scripture Reading

John 10:10 (TLV)

“The thief comes only to steal, slaughter, and destroy. I have come that they might have life, and have it abundantly.”

Devotional Thought

Today is a day to pause and remember where God has brought you from. There was a time when you walked without Him—when truth and peace felt distant. But then, you made a choice. You chose to believe and to crown Yeshua (Jesus) as Adonai (Lord) of your life.

He called you out of darkness and into His marvelous light. What a beautiful exchange: His mercy for your brokenness, His grace for your striving, His love for your loneliness.

Now is the time to live in that light. If you have received Yeshua as Adonai, you have been grafted into the family of God. You belong to Him.

Each new morning is another gift of His mercy. Take a moment to reflect, to repent where needed, and to turn your heart toward Him again. Let your walk reflect your salvation. Saved people live differently—not by perfection, but by direction.

Spend time in His Word. Let His truth shape your heart, your thoughts, and your choices. Don’t let the world define you; let His Spirit refine you.

Reflection Question

Which tree are you partaking of today? The Tree of Life—Yeshua, the source of all that is good and eternal—or the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, rooted in self and separation from God?

Closing Prayer

Abba Father, Thank You for calling me out of darkness into Your marvelous light. Forgive me for the times I’ve strayed or chosen my own way. Renew my heart today with Your mercy and fill me with the life Yeshua promised. Help me to walk as one who is saved, to love as You love, and to live as a reflection of Your truth. In Yeshua’s name, Amen.

Scripture Of The Week By JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of October 5, 2025
By JoBeth Kested

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light; 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV)

Have you ever felt like a misfit, too different or unacceptable to others around you; your friends, at work or in your family? Sometimes it can be so hard to handle those inner voices that say, “You don’t fit”, ” Not good enough”, or “Never going to make it”. What an encouragement to find in this scripture what God has to say about you. You are a chosen one! You are a part of the elite inner circle with access to God; a Holy nation! And, you are part of a distinctive people that have accepted God’s invitation to come out of the dark painful, depressing and hopeless places into the marvelous light of His love! So lift your heart, your hands and your voice to praise the Lord because you are a chosen, special one with the opportunity to display His goodness and glory to all those around you in this world! Thank You, Lord!

Scripture Of The Week By JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of August 31, 2025
By JoBeth Kested

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth! The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Psalm 46:10-11 (NKJV)

Have you ever enjoyed a summer night of frogs croaking, crickets creaking and fireflies flitting? Or have you ever taken the time to look for pictures in the clouds or watched for falling stars in a dark night sky? Isn’t it interesting how much we can see and hear if we will take the time to be still. In stillness we may also have to face our encroaching fears, our emptiness or our feelings of being so alone. In this scripture God instructs us to be still in order to know that He is God. As our Heavenly Father, He so desires for us to cease from our struggles and striving to find the comfort, peace and rest we so long for in the stillness of His presence. Whatever we may be facing in the uncertainties and upheavals of this world our God declares in this scripture that He will be exalted above all else in the earth. The Lord of Hosts is with us and is our refuge. Selah—ponder and think of that!

Fear Not

Where is your FAITH!

Fear Not! Stop propagating fear!
Occupy until Yeshua comes! Look for Him, yes. But live your life and stop the nonsensical posts that instill fear in others!

Bolster your faith!

Declare and Decree God’s Word over your life! Don’t stop until you read every single one out loud.

Isaiah 41:10 fear not, for I am with you;
be not dismayed, for I am your God;
I will strengthen you, I will help you,
I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Zephaniah 3:17 The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.

Matthew 6:25-34 Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

Matthew 11:28-30 Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Mark 4:39-40 And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, ‘Peace! Be still!’ And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. He said to them, ‘Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?’

Luke 12:22 And he said to his disciples, ‘Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, nor about your body, what you will put on.’

Luke 12:24-34 Consider the ravens: they neither sow nor reap, they have neither storehouse nor barn, and yet God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds! And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? If then you are not able to do as small a thing as that, why are you anxious about the rest? Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass, which is alive in the field today, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! And do not seek what you are to eat and what you are to drink, nor be worried. For all the nations of the world seek after these things, and your Father knows that you need them. Instead, seek his kingdom, and these things will be added to you.

Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourselves with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

John 14:1 Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Romans 8:38-39 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

1 Corinthians 7:32 I want you to be free from anxieties. The unmarried man is anxious about the things of the Lord, how to please the Lord.

Philippians 4:5-7 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:13-14 I can do all things through him who strengthens me. Yet it was kind of you to share my trouble.

2 Thessalonians 3:16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with you all.

2 Timothy 1:6-7 For this reason I remind you to fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands, for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

Hebrews 13:5-6 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we can confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?’

1 Peter 3:14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled,

1 Peter 5:6-8 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

Revelation 1:17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, ‘Fear not, I am the first and the last,’

Amen Amen Amen and again I say Amen

Scripture Of The Week By JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of July 13, 2025
By JoBeth Kested

A man’s steps are established by the Lord, and He takes pleasure in his way. Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed, because the Lord holds his hand. Psalm 37:23-24 (HCSB)

Have you ever enjoyed the craziness of a scavenger hunt where you are dependent upon finding the clues to guide you in the way you need to go? Sometimes, due to circumstances beyond our control, we find ourselves feeling helpless and clueless, like stumbling in the dark, with a fear of falling and no map or plan to follow. How encouraging to learn in these scriptures that we can trust that the Lord takes pleasure in establishing our steps and showing us the path we need to follow. He promises that even if we stumble along the way, He is holding our hand to strengthen and protect us from any overwhelming fall. Lord, establish our steps, please hold our hand and protect us as we follow you out of the dark and confusing times of our lives; that we may know Your pleasure upon us and the joy of Your presence with us.

Do Not Be Deceived – Jesus IS LORD

  1. The Word of a True Prophet lines up with the Word of God -The Bible. A false prophet tickles your ears and tells you what you want to hear.. but if you search your Bible and ask God for confirmation.. you will realize that the prophecy was false! God Himself wrote an entire book with 66 chapters so that we would know the Truth and not be led astray.

Check your Salvation today. Ask Yeshua freshly into your heart. Crown Him King of king and Lord of lord over your own life. Then ask Him to fill you freshly with His Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit).

If you deny Yeshua before men. He will deny you before His Abba! Matthew 10:33 Denying Him means denying what IS written in the Bible!! Yeshua (Jesus) IS The Word!

That is His Word.

I am not ashamed to ask Yeshua (Jesus) into my heart and be my Lord and King daily..

Yeshua said in Matthew 24:12-13

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Iniquity is habitual sin.. the love of many will wax cold..

Check your own temperature! God is not double minded in anyway.

As for me and my house we will serve Adonai (The Lord)!

I choose righteous, peace and joy. My body belongs to Yeshua! My choice is Him and I will endure unto the end and shall be saved in Yeshua (Jesus) Name

You need to check yourself because according to this Scripture.. your salvation that you think you have may just be false because you bowed to the false.

Check yourself.. before God.. before it is too late.

I apply Yeshua (Jesus) blood over this post and seal this by Ruach Ha Kodesh! In Yeshua’s Name

Yeshua IS Lord! Yeshua IS Kin

A Time to Choose by Beth Auman

I hope that Adonai has found you on the wall interceding, declaring, decreeing over Israel. Remember His Word. Be found by Him in covenant with Him for Adonai relates intimately with those who fear Him. Those in whom His Ruach HaKodesh dwell in. His Holy Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and power,
the Spirit of knowledge and fearing Adonai.

Fearing Adonai is our boundary. If you have gone through the new door then you are within His boundary and must be on the wall praying for, interceding for, standing for and defending the apple of His eye! His chosen land and people. We are One (Echad) in Yeshua Messiah.

Isaiah 11:2 CJB

2 The Spirit of Adonai will rest on him,
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and power,
the Spirit of knowledge and fearing Adonai

Psalm 25 CJB

25 (0) By David:

Make me know your ways, Adonai,
teach me your paths.
Guide me in your truth, and teach me;
for you are the God who saves me,
my hope is in you all day long.
Remember your compassion and grace, Adonai;
for these are ages old.
Don’t remember my youthful sins or transgressions;
but remember me according to your grace
for the sake of your goodness, Adonai.

(1) I lift my inner being to you, Adonai;
I trust you, my God.
Don’t let me be disgraced,
don’t let my enemies gloat over me.
No one waiting for you will be disgraced;
disgrace awaits those who break faith for no reason.

Adonai is good, and he is fair;
this is why he teaches sinners the way [to live],
leads the humble to do what is right
and teaches the humble [to live] his way.
10 All Adonai’s paths are grace and truth
to those who keep his covenant and instructions.
11 For the sake of your name, Adonai,
forgive my wickedness, great though it is.

12 Who is the person who fears Adonai?
He will teach him the way to choose.
13 He will remain prosperous,
and his descendants will inherit the land.
14 Adonai relates intimately with those who fear him;
he makes them know his covenant.

15 My eyes are always directed toward Adonai,
for he will free my feet from the net.
16 Turn to me, and show me your favor;
for I am alone and oppressed.
17 The troubles of my heart are growing and growing;
bring me out of my distress.
18 See my affliction and suffering,
and take all my sins away.

19 Consider my enemies, how many there are
and how cruelly they hate me.
20 Protect me and rescue me;
don’t let me be disgraced,
for I take refuge in you.
21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me,
because my hope is in you.

22 God! Redeem Isra’el
from all their troubles!

Ephesians 2:14-16 CJB

14 For he himself is our shalom — he has made us both one and has broken down the m’chitzah which divided us 15 by destroying in his own body the enmity occasioned by the Torah, with its commands set forth in the form of ordinances. He did this in order to create in union with himself from the two groups a single new humanity and thus make shalom, 16 and in order to reconcile to God both in a single body by being executed on a stake as a criminal and thus in himself killing that enmity.

Abba, we come before You today as One (echad), standing in faith for our brothers and sisters. There is no dividing wall of division. Only the wall of prayer snd intercession that we all stand on today. The chief cornerstone Yeshua, Jesus our Messiah. Open our eyes, show each of us how to align and what to declare, decree, intercede. We submit ourselves unto You Adonai in unity. We resist the devil and he must flee. We declare Davar Shalom! We bind chaos! We take authority over chaos and together read out loud Psalm 25 and in unity we apply Yeshua’s blood over every covenant family and seal our prayer in Yeshua’s Name. Amen
