Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of January 28, 2018

The Lord will always lead you. He will meet the needs of your soul in the dry times and give strength to your body. You will be like a garden that has enough water, like a well of water that never dries up. Isaiah 58:11 (NLV)

Have you ever seen the dazzling display of a dessert in glorious bloom after drenching thunderstorms or basked in the beauty of a luscious garden after a summer rain? Sometimes we find ourselves lost in a dry desolate place; overwhelmed by demands and fears with no idea of the way back to the restoring waters of hope. Be encouraged by the promise of this scripture that the Lord is always with us to mercifully show us the way even when we find ourselves lost and desperate through foolish choices or by no faults of our own. The refreshing river of God’s love is able to fill all the parched longings of our souls (mind, will and emotions). So, call upon the Lord to refresh and restore you today with His living water that never ends; like a well watered garden blooming in the beauty of His mercy, goodness, peace and joy. Oh, hallelujah!

God Will Help You by Beth Auman

Do you need God’s help today? Have you come to the end of yourself? If so, that’s an awesome place to be.

Hold up your right hand and take God’s hand. Speak Isaiah 41:13 over yourself and receive all that He IS in Jesus name.

The LORD is saying to you today – “For I AM THE LORD your GOD who upholds your right hand, WHO SAYS to you, ‘Do not fear, I WILL Help you.’ Isaiah 41:13

Whatever you are waking through today, stop and listen to God’s Word and hear His voice. He will help you. Simply hold out your hand and just yield unto Him today in Jesus name.

Behold His Face by Beth Auman

My Hearts cry today is to Love what the LORD Loves. To seek out what He Loves and to align my life with those whom are seeking after what He Loves too.

Psalm 11:7 is a perfect example:  For the LORD is righteous, He LOVES righteousness; the upright will behold His face.

I declare and decree over each of us in Jesus name – LORD we all seek to live an upright life before You. May we seek after what You LOVE and follow after You as the Psalmist wrote in Psalm 42:1 My soul is dry and thirsts for You, True God, as a deer thirsts for water.

We will lay down the worldly thoughts and lifestyles and pick up Your Word. Offering love, forgiveness, grace and mercy as You have offered Yours to us. LORD may Psalm 17:15 become our reality: 15 As for me, I shall behold Your face in righteousness; I will be satisfied [a]with Your likeness when I awake. We want to be the generation LORD that this universe is waiting for in Romans 8:19 (TPT) 19 The entire universe is standing on tiptoe,[a] yearning to see the unveiling of God’s glorious[b] sons and daughters! Amen and Amen

Scripture of The Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of January 21, 2018

“Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”” Isaiah 35:3-4 NKJV

Have you ever been so weary in the battles of life with no strength left to take another step and not knowing what to do? Maybe even now, crippling fear and hopelessness has you feeling like there is nowhere to turn for help in the circumstances you are facing. Be encouraged in these verses to know that we have a Heavenly Father calling out to us, “Be strong, do not fear!”. What does it mean that He will come with vengeance and recompense? He is our LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle. (Psalm 24:8) He extends His great strength to save and defend us; making amends to restore and to compensate us from injustice! Let us call upon the LORD our God with renewed hope and faith that He comes with His salvation to strengthen our hands and our knees to stand with us in the battles we face today and whatever lies ahead. Thank You, LORD!

Adonai’s Shalom by Beth Auman

Feeling weak today? Do you lack Adonai’s Shalom in areas of your life? Jesus is the answer and through Him we have access to Adonai.

My declaration over each of us today is from the Word of Adonai Psalm 29:11.

May Adonai give strength to His people! May Adonai bless His peope with Shalom!

He is the only ONE that can impart a blessing to us, apart from Him we have no shalom.

Receive His blessings and strength  today. He is our Shalom – be blessed and walk in Him in Jesus Name – Amen

Love you all Beyond Measure,  Beth Auman

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of January 14, 2018

“The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, And be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, And give you peace.”’ Numbers 6:24-26 (NKJV)

Have you ever felt your face light up when you come face to face with someone you love? What blessing and joy to to be loved like that and how awesome to know that when God sees us His face lights up, too! These verses were God’s instructions to Aaron, the first high priest, and his sons to pray over the people with the promise that He would then bless them (vs 27). As believers, we are a royal priesthood (1Peter 2:9) and we too can pray these words over our homes and loved ones. Our loving God longs to bless us with grace and His protection. His also lifts us up in His unmerited favor and He gives us peace. No matter what the future holds or what difficulties we may face tomorrow, fix your eyes on the Lord, knowing that you light up His face and He desires to extend blessings, grace, favor and peace upon you today.

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of January 7, 2018

“I have set the LORD continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. You will make known to me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; In Your right hand there are pleasures forever.” Psalms 16:8,11 (NASB)

Have you ever wondered how to find joy through any circumstance? Biblically, joy goes beyond emotional happiness, which is temporary and is dependent on whatever makes us feel good. Joy is primarily a choice that is dependent upon trusting in the sovereign goodness of God and that He is Who He says He is in His Word; even when we don’t feel like it! God’s place at the Psalmist’s right hand, implies giving Him the highest place of honor in our lives with dependence upon His strength and power. We can learn in this verse that when we choose to abide in God’s presence, we can know the security of safety, overflowing joy and enduring pleasures forevermore. His right hand holds all power and all authority in heaven and on earth to defend, provide and bless each one of us as the Psalmist has declared. Thank You, Lord, that in Your presence we find the path of abundant life and the fullness of joy we all long for. Amen!

The Heart of His Prophet Aligns with His Word by Beth Auman

John 1:1 (KJV) 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Many times, I have seen God’s people continue in His Word, receive His Word of Truth and be free. According to John 8:31-32, one of my own foundational Scriptures. The Truth is everything. Lies bind, kill, destroy and contort peoples lives and the Lord has given me eyes to see the Truth in every situation. I praise Him for this, it is a gift and I’m forever in awe of the Lord.

Another one of my life Verses is Isaiah 50:4 NASB- The Lord [a]God has given Me the tongue of disciples, That I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple.

Being a disciple (a taught one), is imperative when giving or receiving the Word of the Lord and discerning if the word is actually from the LORD or not.

Seeing and Hearing His voice, I wait on Him to provide His Wisdom and Revelation because it is His Word and His Holy Spirit combined that are His Prophetic Word. A Word in due season is like a well formed arrow that hits the target every single time. One Word from the LORD changes a person’s life forever.

Recently, I have seen people veering away from the Word of God. As if the Word of God isn’t enough for them, their substituted words somehow carry more weight. The Words spoken are their own and don’t even align with God’s Holy Scripture. This breaks my heart.

It has become evident to me to abstain from every form of evil and cling to His Word. Personally, I pray every single day that the Lord will open the eyes of my understanding, shine His light and allow me to see His Truth. I do not want to be led away by a silver tongued theologically schooled individual who wants to impart his or her words into my life.

If Jesus is taken out or left out, if the word spoken does not align with The Word of God – which is Jesus then it will come to nothing. People will be defeated and discouraged, and they will truly believe that God let them down. When the Truth is that a silver tongued theologically schooled individual spoke into the life of another without the anointing of the Word of God and Holy Spirit, thus producing nothing.

It is the responsibility of the hearer to know the Word of God and thus not be deceived.  We are to weigh the Words that come forth prophetically and allow God to confirm them. If you know the Word of God, have established a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your LORD and Savior, been baptized by the Holy Spirit and yielded your life, then you will continue in the Word and the Truth will be revealed and the Truth will make you free.

John 8:31-32(NASB)  The Truth Will Make You Free

31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.”

LORD, we come before You today and repent for anytime we have been a silver tongued theologically schooled individual who has spoken our own word into the lives of another. A word that did not align with Your Word and was not anointed by You. Forgive us LORD.

LORD, we come before You today and repent for anytime we have received a word from a silver tongued theologically schooled individual who spoke into our lives their own word and we could not see that it was not the Truth. Purge any word spoken into our lives that was not Your Anointed Word. We choose to forgive these silver tongued theologically schooled individuals and we pray that they will repent and receive a relationship with Jesus Christ and be filled with Your Holy Spirit and receive the Truth and become free.

LORD, we come before You today and receive Your Holy Spirit a fresh and ask that You anoint our eyes to see and ears to hear Your WORD. We receive Your Holy Spirit, The Spirit of Wisdom, Revelation, Counsel, Might, Knowledge and The Fear of You Oh LORD. Baptize each of us freshly and impart Your WORD into our hearts.

LORD use each of us. Make us well formed arrows that hit the target every time.

LORD we align with Your Word in Hebrews 4:12 and our desire is to be equipped and anointed by Your Word Isaiah 50:4. Wake us morning by morning with ears to listen as a disciple. In Jesus Name. Amen

Hebrews 4:12 (KJV) 12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Isaiah 50:4 (VOICE)

The Lord, the Eternal, equipped me for this job
with skilled speech, a smooth tongue for instruction.
I can find the words that comfort and soothe the downtrodden, tired, and despairing.
And I know when to use them.
Each morning, it is God who wakes me and tells me what I should do,
    what I should say.

Isaiah 50:4 (NASB)

The Lord [a]God has given Me the tongue of disciples,
That I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word.
He awakens Me morning by morning,
He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple.

Trust Adonai with All of Your Heart – by Beth Auman

Lord, we welcome You and enter into Your New. We choose to Trust in You with all o our hearts. We will not rely on our own understanding. In all of our ways we Acknowledge You Adonai – we invite You, welcome You and Trust You to level our paths in Jesus name.

Are you excited about this glorious season ahead?  OR

Are you walking along a bumpy, twisted path? Is your heart crying out to the Lord and yet for some reason, your trust level in Him is low?

Have you ever stopped for one moment to consider that God is not afraid of your feelings? It is His desire that you trust Him and He is perfectly willing to level your path. Talk to Him and let Him know how you feel and then listen to what He speaks to your heart.  You don’t always have to walk on the twisted and bumpy path. We will all have tribulation, Jesus said so, however this is not our everyday experience.

The choice is yours. His Word is True.

His Word says Trust the Lord with all your heart: Do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him: Then He will level your paths. Proverbs 3:5-6.

It is a part of our Divine Exchange: He has a part and we have a part. Our part is to choose to trust Him and acknowledge Him in all of our ways. NOT JUST SOME OF OUR WAYS! All of our ways. Then His part is to level our path. Life truly does not have to be so difficult. That’s not God’s plan, nor His best for your life.  It begins with Trusting Him.

Lord, we come before You today and choose to trust You with all of our hearts and lean not unto our own understanding. Lord, there are some things in this life that we truly do not understand, but in all things we choose to trust in You. In all of our ways we acknowledge You and we trust in You to level our path. We repent for ever walking on a twisted and bumpy path rather than trusting in You. Please Forgive us Lord. We choose to trust in You.

May this Be your hearts cry.  Blessed be Adonai, for he heard my voice as I prayed for mercy. Adonai is my strength and shield; in him my heart trusted, and I have been helped. Therefore my heart is filled with joy, and I will sing praises to him. Psalm 28:6-7 (CJB) In Jesus Name. Amen

Love Beyond Measure.
