Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of August 26, 2018

Give praise to the Lord; He has heard my cry for help. The Lord protects and defends me; I trust in him. He gives me help and makes me glad; I praise him with joyful songs. Psalm 28:6-7 (GNT)

Have you ever felt like you are between a rock and a hard place with no hope for help? Sometimes when overwhelmed by life’s demands, pressures and pain it is hard to believe that God cares when we feel so helpless and alone. With our feelings of insecurity and inadequacy, it is easy to think that God is just too busy with all the problems of the world to hear our cry. This song of the Psalmist is a great reminder that the Lord hears our cries and is there to protect, defend and help us. We are told in Isaiah 61:3 that He gives beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. Our loving God hears our cries, restores our hope, makes our hearts glad and puts a song of praise in our mouth. Cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7) So give praise to the Lord and sing to Him a joyful song!

Strategy for Victory by Beth Auman

There is always a strategy for Victory through Jesus (The Word of God)

Isaiah 28:16 NASB Therefore thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone, a tested stone, A costly cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. He who believes in it will not be disturbed.

2 Timothy 2:19 NASB Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Everyone who names the name of the Lord is to abstain from wickedness.”

When you find yourself in a difficult situation, in the near future – think back on what you may have done to cause the crack in your own foundation. Measure your life against the Word of God and find out where you have sinned.

Adonai is blamed for so many things that He has nothing at all to do with. The fact is that we live in a sinful world. The devil evil and a liar and he hates us. We choose to sin and cause cracks in our own foundations. The devil cannot make us relinquish our free will. He can bait us though. Once we give into sin – he has free acces. Even a small crack in our foundation can cause major difficulties.  Whatever you do don’t blame ADONAI! Yield yourself rather to His plan because once you yield and repent He seals that crack in your foundation and the devil’s access is denied!

Sowing and reaping is good ground for Growing and completing! That old devil may get you once but learning from our mistakes and yielding to wisdom ensures that he won’t do that again. Galatians 6:7-9 (NASB) Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.

1 Peter 5:8 (NASB)Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 9 [a]But resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your [b]brethren who are in the world. 10 After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you.

Revelation 3:8 (NASB)‘I know your [a]deeds. Behold, I have put before you an open door which no one can shut, because you have a little power, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name.

Accountability and integrity are important to Adonai. He created us and gave us free will. Many use that free will to live recklessly and in rebellion.

He gave us the entire BIBLE – Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth, to live by. He placed promises within His Word. He gave us His Son Jesus to provide a way back to Him though repentance when we fall short and sin.

He will never take away our free will. We have the option to serve Him entirely or not at all, but please understand there is no grey area.

That is where we are in this world right now. People want a grey area. They want to dabble and cross from side to side. This is what creates cracks in your foundation and allows the devil access to your life.

The Definition of Repentance is to turn from sin and dedicate oneself to the amendment of one’s life. In other words Don’t repeat the sin. Allow The Word of the LORD – the BIBLE to define what is sin and if His Word says not to do something then don’t do it.

Through Jesus we have the choice to repent when we make mistakes. God even made a plan for us to have the opportunity to come back into fellowship with Him. He Loves and wants His best for your life, He Loves His family. The way that He designed is the best Way of Life. Jesus is the Way. The Only Way to God. There is no other way that has ever been made.

His promises are true. He promised that He would be with you if you choose Him. He will never leave or forsake you. Examine yourself and if there are areas in your life that are not blessed by Adonai, go back to The Word of God – the Bible and examine areas of your life where you have allowed cracks in your foundation. Find them, Repent and don’t ever do that again. Always remember that Adonai Loves you and that Jesus paid the ultimate price for you to have the opportunity to fellowship and ultimately live eternally with Adonai in heaven.

1 Thessalonians 5:19 (NASB) 19 Do not quench the Spirit; 20 do not despise prophetic [a]utterances. 21 But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; 22 abstain from every [b]form of evil.

Isaiah 43:2 (NASB) “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.

Hebrews 13:5-7 (NASB) Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,” so that we confidently say,

“The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid.
What will man do to me?”

Remember those who led you, who spoke the word of God to you; and considering the [a]result of their conduct, imitate their faith.

I speak Shalom over all of you who have chosen to read this and Praise Adonai in Jesus name for your Victory in Him. Amen

Testify by Beth Auman

The testimony of Jesus Christ is the Spirit of prophecy and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 19:10

While in intercession one day I began asking the Lord very specific questions. How can my testimony help others, Lord? Please show me Your strategic plan. My heart cried out to Abba. From a very painful place. From that place He taught me a weapon of warfare and Victory.
Our Testimonies are doors for others to walk through and obtain their Victory.
Testimonies are like fire. Fire that burns away the chaff and perfectly allows The Lord to bring Victory through the blood of Jesus and The Holy Spirit.
In The Book of Revelation Jesus says many times “to he who overcomes, I will give.”  One who overcomes has the Testimony that “I have been delivered by the blood of the lamb, out of the hand of the enemy. “.  When you Passover to the other side. When you win through the blood of Jesus, He anoints you and mantles you with an Overcomer’s Testimony. A unique ability to reach into this lost and dying world and grab another by the hand, pull them out of the fire that they are walking through and, intercede, watch over, prophecy into snd speak Shalom to that storm raging against them.
This is my own Testimony and the Lord gave me a vision of me grabbing the hand of a person that was burning in fire  and carting their almost dead body to the throne of God. Laying them down at the feet of Jesus and receiving
Everything necessary for them to overcome.
Each person’s Overcoming a Testimony is unique unto them. However, everyone goes through the same door to obtain their Testimony, Jesus (He is the door).  Everyone who obtains an Overcomer’s Testimony is brought to the throne of God by someone who has already overcome.
Never underestimate the Power of your Testimony. Never negate an opportunity to share it. Your Overcoming Testimony of how Jesus empowered you to Overcome opens the Door for others to go through. I if that individual chooses Jesus and His strategy to overcome, then they are given an Overcomer’s anointing to open The Door for others.
My prayer for each of you who chooses to walk through The Door of our Overcoming Testimonies is that you will obtain the Testimony of Jesus Christ, The Spirit of Prophecy and love your life not unto the death.
You see, only when we die to our selfish ways and yield to the LORD can we Overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and have the Testimony of Jesus Christ.
Overcoming is a choice. Just like Salvation is a choice.

Have a Blessed Day.

Sincerely,
Beth Auman

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of August 19, 2018

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV)

Have you ever experienced the abandonment of a spouse, the betrayal of a friend, rejection of family, or a deep empty loneliness that won’t go away? Or, do paralyzingly fears in your life or fear of death cripple future hopes? This scripture is a comforting reminder that no matter what valley of pain or death we may have to walk through in this life, there is absolutely no power, nor anyplace, any person nor anything that can separate us from the love of Christ. Corrie ten Boom, a survivor of one of the worst Nazi concentration camps during WWII, once said, “There is no pit so deep, that God’s love is not deeper still.” If you struggle with past hurts, present anxiety, fear of death or fear of any future dilemma, ask Jesus to come heal your heart, free you from all fear and fill you with His love that never fails and will never leave you. May you know the joy of God’s endless love for you today.

The Day Called This by Beth Auman

This is the day which the Lord has  made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 188:24

I was recently reminded that in God’s Calendar the most important day is This Day.

Yes, God has a Calendar and it is not Pagan. The days of the week (Monday, Tuesday etc. are actually named after Pagan gods). Study to show yourself approved and find out for your self. An anointed book to study is  Time to Advance by Chuck Pierce and Robert Heidler – https://www.amazon.com/Time-Advance-Understanding-Significance-Hebrew/dp/0979167833/ref=tmm_pap_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1534422953&sr=8-1-fkmr0

The One True God – The God of Abraham, Issac, Jacob, The Father of Jesus Christ our LORD’s Calendar belongs to Him and within His Calendar He teaches us how to move forward. Keep moving forward. He teaches us the importance of the day called This Day, This moment, This hour, This minute.

Do not get caught in a cycle of despair, depression, debt, dismay. Keep moving forward God and remember that This Day is the day that He has made for you. Keep moving forward and find a new appreciation for Him and This day.

Philippians 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Matthew 6:25-30 New American Standard Bible (NASB)

The Cure for Anxiety

25 “For this reason I say to you, [a]do not be worried about your [b]life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor for your body, as to what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the [c]air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? 27 And who of you by being worried can add a single [d]hour to his [e]life? 28 And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin, 29 yet I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these. 30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you? You of little faith!

We all have the same choice to be found with much faith or litte faith. To allow God to establish our boundaries so that we can follow His statutes or to keep going around and around the mountain of confusion and dispair.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:11 to pray for our daily bread. To concern ourselves with This day. Be present in your life. Concern yourself with This Day. Be all that you can be This day. Pray and speak into this day. Sew your seed This day so that tomorrow will be blessed. How are you utilizing This Day?

Matthew 6:11 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 11 ‘Give us this day [a]our daily bread.

Psalm 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, The God who is our salvation. Selah.
“See, I have set before you today life and prosperity, and death and adversity; in that I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and multiply, and that the Lord your God may bless you in the land where you are entering to possess it.
Deuteronomy 30:15-16
As you begin focusing on and being present in This Day that He has made – He will work the rest out. Have faith and trust Him. Most of all – Thank Him for This day that He has made – Rejoice and Be Glad in It.
Blessings and Shalom to each of you.
Love Beyond Measure.

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of August 12, 2018

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now to our God and Father be glory forever and ever. Amen. Philippians 4:19-20 (NKJV)

Do you have difficulty believing that God really cares about any of the pressing needs you are currently facing? First of all, this verse profoundly declares that our God supplies ALL our need! But, if we are to understand that the doorway of His provision is in the glory of Jesus we may need to ask what is the glory? Biblically this often refers to the manifestation or the reality of God’s presence with us. Remember, one of the names of Jesus is Emanuel which means God with us. Therefore, there is a wealth of God’s provision for us as we grasp that Jesus is with us; our Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counselor, Friend of Sinners and our Savior. He is real, present and available to us in every circumstance today and everyday to meet ALL our needs. With renewed faith in His love for us, let us give worship, praise and glory to our Father God forever and ever. Yes, Amen!

Lord Establish My Way by Beth Auman

Oh that my ways may be established to keep Your statutes! Psalm 119:5

This is my prayer everyday. Lord, please establish my ways to keep Your statutes. Draw a line and walk within Your boundary. Not to the left, not to the right, straight ahead at the pace that You have set for me.

To me this Scripture means keeping His Word always before me and being mindful that He is the ONE that establishes my ways.

I am not perfect. No one is. However, as we walk through this life day by day, we have a choice to yield and walk His Word out. Minute by minute and day by day. If we fail we repent and begin again.

My desire is to walk within the boundary that the Lord has established for me and be thankful that He loves me enough to establish His boundary for me.

What is yoru desire? What weight do you place on His Word? On His ability to establish you in all your ways?

Psalm 37:23  The steps of a man are established by the Lord, And He delights in his way.
Psalm 119:133  Establish my footsteps in Your word, And do not let any iniquity have dominion over me.
Proverbs 4:26  Watch the path of your feet And all your ways will be established.
Proverbs 16:3  Commit your works to the Lord And your plans will be established.
Please Pray with me today and commit your works to the Lord and your plans will be established. Delight in His Word and His established boundary. He loves you with His everlasting and limitless Love. He is LOVE, True LOVE.
I pray His Blessing and Shalom over each and every one of you in Jesus name. Amen
Love beyond measure,
Beth Auman

Scripture of the Week by JoBeth Kested

Scripture for the week of August 18, 2018

O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. Psalm 34:8,10 (NKJV)

Have you ever longed for the taste of something like the first sip of coffee in the morning, your favorite piece of pie or maybe the best decadent chocolate as it melts in your mouth? There is nothing quite like that first taste that is so satisfying! We love to savor or cherish the moment and it is often accompanied by the feelings of comfort and happiness. This verse invites us to taste and see the goodness of the Lord. But, what does that mean? It seems to encourage us that we don’t have to struggle and fret if we can’t grasp all the ways of God or don’t understand the whole Bible. If we will just begin to taste a little at a time of God’s love, goodness, mercy and grace we will want to keep seeking Him for more and more as we see the blessings of His comfort, peace and joy in every aspect of our lives. O taste and see that the Lord is good.
