Shabbat Shalom – February 4, 2022 – 3rd of Adar, 5782
Shabbat Shalom everyone. As you enter into Shabbat tonight, please allow Adonai our Elohim to open your eyes to see that Shabbat began in the beginning and to receive as His work and produce, Genesis 2:3.
Genesis 1:1-3 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was unformed and void, darkness was on the face of the deep, and the Spirit of God hovered over the surface of the water. 3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. So there was evening, and there was morning, one day.
The Hebrew word for the earth is Tohu v’vohu, The World was Void, Formless and in utter Chaos. Can you imagine that for one moment? Molecules and Nuclei of all that could be formed and created floating around in chaos. Everything all at once, unformed, void and dark.
FORMLESS: tohu. Masculine noun. (Strong’s 8414).
Sounds like: toe-hu
VOID: vohu. Masculine noun. (Strong’s 922).
Sounds like: voe-hu
Genesis 1:1-3 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and void [tohu v’vohu], and darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was moving over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.
Holy Spirit moved and God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. There was light. Amen.
John 8:12 CJB 12 Yeshua spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world; whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light which gives life.”
Yeshua, stepped into the beginning because He is the Light.
The Trinity Father – Son and Holy Spirit is in the Beginning, making the Tohu v’vohu (the utter chaos, formless, void and darkness), Light. He created Life out of chaos. He created Life by speaking Light. Ponder this for a moment.
God created for 6 day and then He entered into His Shabbat Rest.
Genesis 2:1-3 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, along with everything in them. 2 On the seventh day God was finished with his work which he had made, so he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. 3 God blessed the seventh day and separated it as holy; because on that day God rested from all his work which he had created, so that it itself could produce.
On this Shabbat Adar I, 5782 Submit yourself, your situation your T’ohu v’vohu (whatever is in chaos in your life, whatever is unformed, dark and void in your life). Submit everything to God in Yeshua (Jesus’) Name. Light your 2 candles, Sabbath peace and Sabbath blessing, speak Light and Life in Yeshua (Jesus’) Name and watch God form something beautiful in your life. Watch Holy Spirit hover over you and get excited for what He is creating.
James 4:7 CJB 7 Therefore, submit to God. Moreover, take a stand against the Adversary, and he will flee from you.
Adonai our Elohim – We come before YOU on this Shabbat and submit all that is in chaos in our lives, all that is dark and void. We resist the devil, and he must flee from us! As we light the Shabbat candles LORD, we do as You did and say what YOU said, Let there be Light. Let there be Light in our dark places. Let there be Light in our chaos. Let there be light in all of our barren and void places. We receive YOUR LIGHT. LIGHT BE!
