How Blessed Are You by Beth Auman

How Blessed are you? Are you walking in faith and victory? Adonai gives us a great measuring stick in Psalm 1.

If you love Adonai and have received Jesus as the Lord of your life then His Word should be living and active in your life. His Word is sharper than any two edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of your soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of your heart.

See many people will tell you a lie by saying that the Word of God is a metaphor which by definition is a figure of speech in which a word or phrase is applied to an object or action to which it is not literally applicable.

That is not what Adonai says about His Word. His Word is to be applied to every aspect of our lives. Jesus Christ is the Word of God.

If Jesus is not the Lord of your life and you have not been filled with His Holy Spirit then you cannot know the Truth and will therefore beleive the lies of the devil because you are not free. (John 8:31-32) Only by continuing in His Word can we be His disciples and the truth will be revealed and the truth will make us free.

I encourage you today to read Psalm 1 and measure your own life by the Word. If there is anything there that pings your heart, ask Adonai to align you with His Word. Repent and ask Him for forgiveness and walk in the fullness of the Blessing of The LORD. Be like a tree firmly planted by the living water which yields fruit in its season.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Psalm 1 (NASB)

BOOK 1

The Righteous and the Wicked Contrasted.

How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the [a]path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by [b]streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its [c]leaf does not wither; And [d]in whatever he does, he prospers.

The wicked are not so, But they are like chaff which the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous. For the Lord [e]knows the way of the righteous, But the way of the wicked will perish.

Amen and Amen
